So today we're taking a look at Samsung's Galaxy s, 20 ultra 5g, and the Huawei made 30 pro 5 G in a head-to-head. Here's what we're dealing with when it comes to both the phone's internals and in the background we've got an tutu benchmark running, which will give you a good idea of the device's theoretical performance. The results showed that the s20 ultra 5g convincingly beats out the mid 30 pro 5 G, with the biggest notable difference being in GPU performance. However, something to note is that the mid 30 pro 5g performs considerably better when it comes to memory. Next up we're testing rendering capabilities. Both phones are running Fillmore ago, and we floated the same 4k video clip on them, slowed it down to 50% and then started the render at the end of it.
The s20 ultra does finish 1 or 2 seconds before the May 30 pro and now to some real-world performance, we're starting by testing each phone's, fingerprint scanner ultrasonic on the s20 ultra, whereas optical on the May 30 Pro, and both of them seem to be performing on par now. For this test, each phone is in its factory condition with any extra optimizations turned off. This means full HD plus resolution at 60 Hertz for both smartphones with them loaded with these same applications, profiles connected to the same Wi-Fi network and running on the latest software at the time of making this video, and by doing so, it just makes the results as fair as possible to really test both these smartphones and loaded them up with plenty of heavy applications, and it seems like the mid 30 pro is able to take the leap marginally at the start by loading up darkness rises faster. This lead is then carried forward through the next few applications. However, once again, when it comes to loading a slightly heavier application like pop G, the mid 30 pro extends its lead ever so slightly, and that shows us the power of the Karin 995 G chip on board the phone.
But with the first round following this trend and going through more heavy applications and games, it is the May 30 pro 5 G. That is able to finish the first round with a time of 2 minutes and 23 seconds. While it moves to the second round. The s20 ultra takes 10 more seconds to finish its first round at 2 minutes and 33 seconds. Having loaded a lot of applications, it's only fair that we might have to see the May 30 Pro having to reload some of them, because it only has 8 of RAM compared to 12 gigabytes on the s20 ultra.
But to my surprise- and maybe yours- the May 30 Pro keeps all the applications in memory except for subway, surfers where the s20 ultra can make some ground over it as its able to keep all the applications in memory in the second round, which is equally impressive. But despite this, it's incredible to see how well optimized Wow is flagship, is and coming to the end of the test. It is the Huawei Mate 30 pro 5g, that's able to finish first with a time of 3 minutes and 14 seconds, with the S Pony ultra coming in 4 seconds behind at 3 minutes and 18 seconds making the winner of this test, the Huawei Mate 30, Pro 5g. Let us know what you think about the results down in the comments and make sure to subscribe for more coverage to come thanks for watching this was wrap up, and I'll. See you in the next one adios.
