Samsung Galaxy A51 5G Exynos 980 90 Days Later! Still a BEAST in 2021! By TuPhonez4Free

What's up everybody, it's your boy, two phones back again with another, informative video uh. It's officially been 90 days with the Samsung Galaxy a51 5g, the 5g model, okay, the 5g model, um. The reason why I emphasize that so much is that for the simple fact, uh there's actually a few differences between the regular uh, a51 4g and the a5d1 5g, and one of the differences actually too uh this. This version comes with six gigs around with uh a 4500 William battery. As you can see, 4 500 William battery six gigs around and the battery uh, I mean not the battery, but the camera uh layout. It's a little different and the reason why the reason how I found this out is uh the cases okay.

For some reason, this is claim- and I got this from Walmart- I'm not even gonna lie for some reason. This particular case was claimed to fit on the a51 5g, not the 4g, 851 5g, and it doesn't fit. As you can see, I can't even get it in there. It does not fit and then the placement of the battery I mean the placement of the cameras a little different all right, and these cases right here is for the a51 5g. Okay, it's easily to see like boom.

It just fits okay, it fits perfectly. You can see the camera layout. You can see where all the ports set- okay, all right, so this one fits perfectly because it's the a51 5g case all right um. Also, this one is supposed to be for the a51 5g all right. So I just placed this in here.

Let me uh, okay, just snap it in place all right boom. Okay, look at the camera placement all right, it's a little off on this one, but this one it was perfect all right! So that's just another uh little way you can tell whether you have the a51 uh 4g versus the a51 5g. All right and my version, I got from ATT prepaid. I paid full price for mine um. I didn't get it on sale or anything like that.

Um, but overall after 90 days of usage using this, as my daily driver, the only phone um stuff like that uh that the fingerprint system actually gotten better. I have to say that after the android 11 update and yeah, I'm I'm infatuated with this uh live. This live uh, wallpaper uh for the lock screen and, as you can see, I got my notifications and stuff going in and stuff like that. So yeah yeah, I'm a faction ready with that, but yeah um overall um at first I did get booked uh bug like app crashes um in the beginning um. This is the extra notes.980, a lot of people was hating on the x and o's. All the extra notes was crap and look if you haven't owned the device for more than 30 days.

You really can't talk in my opinion. You have to let the phone know you, okay, you have to let the phone know you have to grow with the phone. Furthermore, you have to let the phone mature itself out before you can say. Oh this, this processor is trash or the phone is slow. I mean okay, I get it if you went from a flagship back down if you downgraded yourself.

Of course, you going to say that, but if you upgraded yourself from a previous phone, like I don't know, maybe you had a Motorola phone that was like two years old or something like that. You're going to see a big difference from a phone that came out at 2020 versus 2018 or fall for 2017 versus 2021. You're going to see a major difference in performance battery life um how you use the apps uh, the camera setups. Now a lot of people don't realize this phone has four cameras in the back four, a 48 megapixel uh has uh two five megapixels and then um one 12 megapixels. A lot of people don't pay attention to that for the 51 5g smartphone it has four rear camera phones and then on the front, 132 megapixel selfie camera, which is not bad at all.

If you want to use it, it's really not bad. If you want to use the front facing camera, as you can see, yeah your boy got a haircut, but that's besides the point and call quality. If you're using the network, I got 18t right you're using the ATT network. Call quality is boss, in my opinion, every person I called, or they called me, uh on the ATT network or talked to me. While I was on the aunt network, saying man your car is coming in crystal clear.

I can hear you loud and clear stuff like that: um video, uh video calling um, whether I'm on WhatsApp or Facebook, messenger uh, something like that I haven't had anybody call me the Google dual. I might have forgotten to set that back up, but that's besides the point um crystal clear uh video calls uh through WhatsApp and Facebook, messenger, mainly um stuff like that um, so, hey and now the a52 is out. Well, it's been um launched it's officially launched and um. We can have a conversation about the a52 versus the a51. Is it better to upgrade from the a51 5g to the a5d2 5g or the a51 4g to the a525? It's really up to you, ladies and gentlemen.

It's really up to you now. If you already invested in that particular phone or this particular phone, I give it a little minute. You know what I'm saying I'll, give it a little, especially you have just gotten it like you still fresh with the phone there's no point of upgrading to a phone. That's just been released or launched. Let the reviews come out.

Let's see what other people that's, that that hasn't gotten the a51, maybe they're on the 820 or the 850, or something like that, or maybe a Galaxy S8 or something that's like a little older, and they just want to give you know the Samsung mid-range budget phones, a chance of opportunity to grow. Yeah, then give it a shot. Give it a chance. But if you own an a51 I'll, say, wait a little longer wait a little longer and see if you're still getting crapped out with your um, your a51 line and see what people are saying about the 852 series, because, to be honest, I think the real main difference is going to be the fast charging in the device. Um, the the hurts, the hurts um, the like 90 hertz, the 120 hertz refresh rate, whichever one is getting.

I think the 90 hertz this one has the 60 hertz. I mean it's all your preference man. If, if that's all you want, because it has a different refresh rate, I don't think that's a. I don't think that would you know give me enough to okay. I want to get this.

Furthermore, I want to get the 852 over the a51. That's just my opinion. I mean technically they're going to be the same phone. They both going to have android 11 one UI, 3.0, uh, you're gonna, get all the know bells and whistles you're going to get all the Samsung features in the mid-range and department. Now there won't be no Samsung decks, but you got link to windows and I keep preaching about link to windows.

You still be able to uh, you know receive calls and your text messages you'll still be able to check in your emails from your windows laptop or Microsoft Surface. If you got that all right, so just keep that in mind. Also, if you own a Chromebook, you can still link it to a Chromebook, so you'll still be able to get your telegram messages. Your WhatsApp messages, whatever you're trying to do. You want a game on it.

You can game a little on a Chromebook. Okay, uh, you know, don't get discouraged about what everybody else is saying. They don't know nothing all right, they really don't. Otherwise. You know they would be talking like me and say: yeah, give it a try, yeah check it out.

You might like it because you might like it. I mean to be honest: uh if manned, it's snappy, as you can see, on screen, it's snappy in my opinion, for mid-range nose 980 processors, with six gigs around 128 gigs of storage um, you can get 4g 5g have whatever service. You got yeah work on here with a t all right, I'm just letting you all know um. I mean like the only gripe I had about it. Was that yeah no effing ready.

I get it. I know like. Why are you worried about effing radio? Look if, if you, if you're in an area that don't have service- and you try to find out what's going on around you- you will want the FM radio. I'm just saying. If you lose signal from ATT, you have no Wi-Fi access.

You will want the FM radio. In my opinion, okay, um, if you're out walking about and all of a sudden storm comes out, you want to know how long the storm is going to be and stuff like that. You have no internet service. You have no connection how you going to get alerts. Furthermore, you know what I'm saying, so that's why I emphasized that all phones should still have the FM radio, and this lit gadget right here is an it's a wireless chip so for wireless charging.

This is a 1 000, William wireless charger, it charges slow, but it's an add-on. Okay, 10 bucks from Amazon all right. Most of these cases that I have you could get on Amazon, and it fits right in there. I could still put this in there and still get a wireless charge um. You know that's if, because it doesn't come with wireless charging.

Yes, it comes with NFC. Of course, it comes with NFC, Bluetooth 5.0, you know, and it still has the headphone jack all right. It still has the infamous headphone jack. So with all that being said, I would say if, if you don't want to get the newest one get the a51 5g. But if you want to your know: okay, I okay, this guy.

He's always talking about the a51. If you want to get the better version of the a51, which is the a52, I say, get it r get the bigger brother, which is the 71, a 72, the a71, you can actually get um. Well, the price went back up on Google five, so I'm not sure if you can get that on sale anymore, but um a lot of people you know been coming at me, like hey, hey, now, it's time to get the s20, so yeah it's in the works, but I just wanted to give you guys my my my full experience with the uh a51 5g on ATT prepaid and, like I said before in my previous video um, I do have android 11 on deck with one UI 3.0. I could show you guys in the settings um department um. So here we go, I'm going to show you guys now, um just a moment.

Let me go ahead, get into the software as you can see: android 11 one UI 3.0 bone yeah. No, I didn't get the march security patch just yet, but it's on the way I've been getting all the security patches. Since I got the phone and got the android 11 updates now, I know a lot of you all came in the comment section. In the last video said, you got the a51 you're still on android 10 and one UI 2.5, hey, that's not my problem. Uh! You got to go to Samsung community again, um go to the Samsung community.

I do have to sell some members' app, and this is one of my favorite apps and I didn't cola. Oh, it's! Okay! On over, I still one of my favorite apps, you know said shout out to the Samsung members. Anyway, you got some benefits check them out. You know I took advantage of all the benefits. Um you get like Spotify, you get um YouTube premium, excellent km series premium, you get calm premium for free, Samsung TV.

I got the Samsung TV out right here on sale TV. I got TV for Samsung, Pluto TV. Furthermore, I got free TV, free music, that's the life man! That's what you want everything on this phone for free, I'm preparing for nothing! That's what you want out of life. Man Samsung is boss. Man, they win.

If I'm telling you all they're winning um, like I said the only disappointment I had, I mean other than the FM radio that that was it um. You know when I first got it yeah app start crash, but what's the updates start rolling it kick it in and the app start updating um yeah. So oh you want to know about data usage. I mean, I don't know why we're complaining about data usage, any more um! You want to go to the settings. You want to go to connections all right, then you want to go to data usage.

Now I told you guys time again. Yes, this is the data usage on the device itself, all right according to the device. According to I've been on the data, it says unused, 26, gigabytes right and the mobile data usage. It shows you all the apps that's been using the data, as you can see, HBO Max and ATNC TV are data free. I mean mainly there's a lot of apps on here.

That's technically data free, look at all these apps I've been using all right and I only used up according to the system.26 gigabytes, but I have a screenshot. I just used uh recently, and it says out of 15 gigs only used up about 11 or maybe less than that. Maybe 10.2 only used up 10 gigs, almost within the past 90 days, okay, and if you guys want to pause. This is the plan, I'm on the 40 plan and show you all the features that you get with the 40 plan and, to be honest, you get a lot of features on the 40 plan that you do on the 50 plan. Oh my bad, for that I was trolling, but um yeah, so yeah next month I will upgrade to the full-fledged 5g.

I know give me a clap, find a thumbs up for that one right, because I am using a 5g phone, so I might as well get on the 5g playing but um. I put it like this. If you're on Wi-Fi all the time, that's no point to be talking about 5g I mean yeah, you got it! It's there! It's available, I get it, but if you're on Wi-Fi all the time, look guys there's a lot of YouTubers online right now. When you look at their phone they on Wi-Fi, why you think that, because 5g isn't for everybody, 5ge isn't ready for everybody all right. Everybody expecting all these speeds, like everybody, doing speed tests, no one's loading up videos, no one's streaming, no one's telling you about the video quality and stuff like that, and then on some of these 5g uh plans, they're, throwing you down to 480p still T-Mobile shots fired T-Mobile, all right! So hey! It is what it is.

You guys can come at me in the comment section I'll, be glad I'd be happy to uh respond to what you got to say, but that's besides the point, I still recommend the five, the uh a51 5g. I still recommend it today, but I haven't seen any deals as of now because I think, like I said, they're preparation for the a52 4g phone and the 852 5g. That's the real difference between the devices and now and, like I said, remember in the beginning of the video um, you got to check your phone cases, make sure your phone cases are fit properly with the actual phone itself. All right make sure your phone cases fit properly with your phone and even a screen protector. All right make sure the screen protector and your phone cases match your actual phone.

Like I said I have this phone, you can look it up I'll put the links in the description box. I got articles online right now on my website talking about this phone talking about the ATT, uh plans and everything like that, since I'm an ATT uh prepaid fanboy, but you already know how that go: um, yeah so and like I said this- has the x in those processors all right, there's nothing wrong with this process, so people hating on it there's nothing wrong with it. In my opinion, okay, nothing wrong with the process. Okay, so I mean it's its an it's an older processor, but it still gets the job done. For me, you know I'm I'm an Enos fan now you know, so it is what it is.
