What's up guys joey here, if you attack and take a look at your own smartphone right now, there's a moderate to high chance that it has some sort of slow motion, whether that's 120, 240, 480 or even 960 fps. It's a feature, that's getting pretty ubiquitous and a lot of phones are getting pretty good at it. An example of that is this one: the Oppo Renault 4, which has 960 fps AI, slow motion, and it's really cool because it actually only shoots at 240 fps, but with their frame insertion algorithm. It generates the frames in between to achieve that.960Fps. Look! It's some pretty sophisticated software! Now for this video we're going to be showing you guys, four epic tricks you can do with slow motion and, of course, our tool of choice is the Oppo Reno 4, with its 960fps AI, slow motion. The first trick, we're going to show is something we're, probably all familiar with, which is the water drop trick, but here's a tip, not everyone, knows it's better to use liquids of different colors.
For this example, I'm using milk as the base, and I'm dropping orange juice into it, but any pair of different colored liquids will work. Now. All you need to do is drop one liquid into the other and voil?. Now you can experiment with different liquids for different effects, and the color really helps because notice that, upon the initial drop of the second liquid it bounces and still retains its color thanks to something we call surface tension. The next trick also involves water.
For this you will need a balloon and some string so fill up the balloon with water, suspend it from a string, hit record and pop it with something sharp now. This is easily my favorite trick to do with slow motion. Even when the water balloon is popped, the water itself still keeps its shape for a moment. Thanks to surface tension and thanks to slow motion, we can capture that for trick number three. I have something for all the plantings and plantings out there for this.
You will need a few plants with a bunch of leaves or a bush or some tall grass will also work, and all you need to do is hit record and sweep the phone through all those leaves and for our final result we get an effect that almost looks like the perspective of an insect flying through all the vegetation. It takes some trial and error, but can produce a really cool effect and our last trick is more of a tip for capturing slow motion. So I have my brother here who is a martial artist, I'm trying to capture one of his kicks in slow motion but notice as how he's moving I'm moving as well, and when you do all this in slow motion you or the camera moving plus your subject also moving. It creates a much more dynamic effect, so next time, you're trying to capture some action in slow motion, don't stand still you have to move as well, and that wraps it up for the tricks guys. Those were four epic tricks.
You can do with the Oppo Renault force, 960 fps, AI, slow motion, but joey. What, if I don't have an Oppo reno4? Well, we have a challenge, and here are the mechanics step.1 create the most epic 30-second slo-mo video that portrays the every day clearly, the best you it can either be raw or edited to add some flair, step, 2, post, the video on Facebook and in your caption answer this question: why do you think this video shows your hashtag clearly, the best you version of your everyday self next be sure to tag the located Facebook page.
