Hi, what's up YouTube today we're going to talk about how to save battery life on your iPhone now this is iPhone 7 plus, but this applies to any kind of phone that you have. That's an iPhone. So basically just go to your settings here and the number one thing I like to do is: if I'm not using the phone for anything in particular, or I'm at work or going to the gym and I, don't actually need to physically use it at the moment, I just put in an airplane mode. So you just select this right here and at the top you'll see a little airplane in the corner there. So my next favorite thing to do is number two, and that would be to basically close out everything that's running in the background. So if you double tap the home button twice you'll see that have a bunch of stuff, that's just in the background running, and it doesn't need to be there and what happens? Is it drains the battery? So the way you get rid of that is you just like I, said: double tap the home button, and you just swipe your finger up to close out all the unnecessary stuff that you don't need.
So let me do that now. So have all this stuff running around in the background, so that will help improve the battery life. So that's number two we're going to go on to number three and number three involves going into the settings. So you click settings over here, and we're going to go to where it says battery right here and my number three favorite way to save battery life on your iPhone is to hit this low power mode. You can use that in any mode.
Usually you can use it when it's around 20% or lower, but say if you're at 50 percent. You know you're going to be using it the whole day. You can actually just select that, and it actually turns your indicator from green to yellow, and basically it helps like temporary, reduce the power consumption on the iPhone. Furthermore, you can read it for yourself there, but that's my third favorite way to reduce the battery life and also, if you go to your display settings here, it's best to select the auto brightness. That's my fourth-best way to save on the battery life of your iPhone.
Because what happens is when you hit the auto brightness, then it won't always stay bright. The whole time whenever the light hits it, and it's really bright outside it'll just and get brighter, and then it will automatically adjust whenever it gets darker in the room or in a certain area where the ambient light is lower. It'll lower the lighting. So those are my top 4 ways to save on your battery life. So I hope this video helped out definitely comment below.
