When it comes to data plans, one size does not fit all Verizon is now offering the option to mix and match among their unlimited plans, so that every member of your family has the data they need here to tell us more about these new plans and some new tech is David Waksman of Verizon David. Also, thanks. So I want to talk about the plans, but you know I get excited when I see all the new summer tax. You got all the toys all the gadgets here, okay, so what we did was we brought a little something for every member of the family. Okay, so first up, we've got mom, so mom is our power user. She maybe does some international travel, and she definitely needs a good laptop.
But what's great about this, the pixel book not only does a pair really well with the pixel xl2, okay, but it can use it as a regular laptop if you want to watch a movie or something that's perfect, yep or just as a tablet there. Okay, great I, want it back on the plane, though. Let me see there you go. That was really impressive, yeah I love that, and it's a big nice screen. Oh, it's a gorgeous screen industrial design.
It's really nice great! Okay, all right! What else do we have so this you'd say: why is the tech guy? Bringing a regular watch right so looks like a regular watch, but act like a smartwatch, so it's got a six-month battery life on it. So you don't have to worry about that, and it will buzz when you have incoming notifications and say I'm your best friend because. Yes, we are now right. You set me to number three when I text you or call you hands, we'll go to number three. So you in the meeting you can look at your watch and see that I'm calling top it obviously drops the meeting and all of that yeah I shouldn't move it because I know they're trying to get a shot, but I need to see this up close.
So it looks like I'm normal until it's almost like a code: yeah wow, that's amazing, okay, absolutely, and so we'll bring up Polaroids back well yeah, it's sort of where I had to look this up on the internet because we're both too young to know what this is. But you know back in the old time days. The olden days is my five-year-old says: Polaroid cameras and and and instant photos and people were prints, photos, and now everything is just in the cloud or on the phone, and it's all no one knows where the stuff is. So we brought along the solution to that. It's a life print printer.
You could take it wherever you go print it out to print, take selfies, bring it to birthday parties, that's perfect, and you can get these cute photos yeah absolutely, and they actually peel off they're actually stickers as well. Oh, are they yeah? Oh, my daughter will love that. So that's for dad is you know, uploading and downloading he's streaming he's. He really is using a lot of date. A lot of content.
Yes, always has a phone in his hand. So the next thing that we're going to show you helps get the phone out of dad's hand. It's called Google clips, okay and what that's going to do is, instead of dad always taking pictures, he could just set it up on a bag of flour, while you're baking or in the backyard or the baseball game and Google's artificial intelligence knows when to take short, video bursts yeah. So we've got my friend Delilah here little ROG yeah, and she's a little camera-shy, but in this case, since we set up the Google clips, she was totally unaware that it was there and kind of mugged for the cameras she caught the ball. So you can get those moments that you know are not staged.
That's right! It's not like smile at the camera is just like a genuine moment, really that's great for the kids as well, okay and then for the teens at home. Yes, you know they like to stream music. So if they want to do it out loud, the Google home inning is great. You put it in their bedroom. Okay and you know they get stream music.
They could ask Google for a homework help if that's okay with you yeah yeah, but a lot of teens want to just kind of tune in and tune out. So we've got the Sabra elite 65g here, and these are little earbuds that go in, and you know great sound quality, great Bluetooth exactly, and then you don't have to hear them perfect all right. So to do all of this. We're going to need some data. Yeah, you're going to need some unlimited plans right.
My good yes, yes, talk about this real quick. We got about a minute exactly yeah, so mom is the international traveler. She's going to want to get mix and match she's going to want to get above, unlimited, yes, which will give her five days of travel pass. Well, that's helpful now where she could use her plan from the US overseas in 130 countries. Really dad is streaming in HD and uploading and downloading yes, he's going to want beyond unlimited, which is gonna.
Give him the capability to do that. Okay and the go unlimited is for your teen, who can talk text and stream without worrying about any overages Wow. So the idea here is that everyone in the family uses their phone a little differently. So why do they all have the same unlimited plan, exactly so, let's mix and match and make sure everyone gets what they need without paying for what they don't. Well, you made that super easy because I thought it was gonna, take a lot more time to explain it, and it does night I mean it's really pretty seamless, yeah, it's its really soon, it's great! So for more information.
Where do we go more information, Verizon, Wireless, calm or stop in at one of our Baltimore area stores that works too yeah? Okay, we'll meet someone like you in person appreciate that. Thank you so much for being with us and coming back, we will have tips for keeping your teens busy this summer. Maybe one of these gadgets we'll be right back with more midday, Maryland.
