Welcome today I will go over unboxing along with an overview of um, this Xiaomi mi 11 lite, so starting off. This is kind of how it came packaged apart from the box and include this little paper not really sure why, but oh well I'll just meet it to the side and from here get surprised by the actual uh stickers, which I need to find my knife to open them up. Oh gosh, there we go found. Its great, took me a little. So let's cut these there we go and let's pop it open, so nothing on the top of the case or the box inclusion of some hair. That's that's nice! Uh anyway, let's pop it open and in here we've got our casing and something else which I just dropped: USB c2 headphone jack, that's actually nice! I didn't include this so yeah.
That's kind of cool always like when companies do include things that they didn't really need to include, but did anyway so prop for that, and apart from that, nothing else in here, apart from just some paperwork, which no one really cares about, so let me just toss that to the side and then get to the phone itself, which is kindled uh than I expected uh paper. I don't care about that. Then we got the charger and the cable, so the charger is, if I remember correctly, at 30, watts or 33 more precisely. You can barely see probably here, so it's nice overall. The fact that there is a charger is nice.
Then we got a type, a to type c cable. You can see right here, type 8 type c coded in orange um, so there we go and that's that's about it. So, let's move to the actual phone now. The version that I have right here is uh the non 5g, as you can see, based on the snapdragon that it is here. So it's a snapdragon, 732g um.
There is also a couple different changes between those two, but nothing really significant, so just pop it open. So I'm going to power it on automatically come on there. We go so just plop it open, and that is actually way thinner than I expected yeah. So, while it's turning on I'm going to go over the screen specifications, so what you see right here is a 6.55 inch, AMOLED display with a 90 hertz, refresh rate and a resolution of 1080 by 24 100, which is what I would call a typical resolution for modern smartphone, also 85.3 screen to body ratio, 402 pixels per inch and gorilla glass 5. Now with the gorilla glass 5.
This is one of the uh changes that it's done between the 5g and non-5g the 5g version of this phone, which I guess you can call it the better version. However, you want to look at it. Has a gorilla glass 6. , so a little tougher glass, but that's about all the major changes um. So, let's just finish up the setup skip this now.
I can't really get used to how light this phone is. It's literally like paper weight. Okay, there we go so yeah, it's super thin as a device uh thinner than I'm actually used to be perfectly honest, um and super light, which is another weird thing: okay, so well it almost boots up. I'm going to quickly go over the camera specifications right here, so we have triple camera setup at the back, which you can see on these three and uh yeah. So we have a 64 megapixel wide 8 megapixel ultra-wide and 5 megapixel macro lens right here, and it would be nice if we would finish up the setup.
So I can actually show you the cameras and also at the front in the cutout. We do have a 16 megapixel white sensor as well. So anytime, there we go just max out the brightness, so it looks better and let's launch the camera straight off the bat okay. So I'm going to grab my little plenty right here and just capture a couple photos. Also, you can see that there are no photos right now.
Just make this clear. So there is the normal. I'm gonna also go for it. Two uh two times zoom just so I can see how good it gets. Let's then also go into macro, which will be probably the weakest part of the camera setup right here.
It looks like what they call. Micro is just a two times zoom and what else is left ultra white? I guess we can go over that, so I can quickly find it photo video pro nope nope. I can't really find the portrait. Oh, there we go. I mean no, that's perfect! Um! Oh, I know where it is there we go um photo and disable this and there we go.
That's how we get it. That's the other job! Okay, sorry, for that um, abrupt, cut. Uh, someone decided to rudely interrupt me, so I basically needed to stop the recording. But now, let's continue, so I finished off on uh. It looks like the ultra-wide.
So I guess that's basically, all I wanted to show off with the camera. So, let's over go the actual photos. So here we got the ultra-wide. The screen is a little weird like it's, not very nice to the finger. I know if you's kind of weird, but anyway, let's go over the actual photos, so ultra-wide looks, I guess, as you would expect, from an 8 megapixel ultrawide.
It's nothing really amazing, and it's also nothing bad. Then we got the five megapixel macro, so let's zoom in and actually see how that come out. So that looks okay, it's I don't think it's any better than the zoom one yeah like you can compare the zoom to this one and two different series: only between colors there's not much of a difference honestly uh so and let's just say that this phone actually has two lenses rather than three, because one can be substituted with the 64 megapixel wide one which does objectively a better macro shot so yeah. Now, honestly, at this point um, it doesn't even surprise me anymore. A lot of those companies include those super trashy lenses, the micro and devs.
This phone doesn't actually have a depth sensor, which is surprising, but still I decided to go for the five megapixel macro most likely fully, knowing that the 5 megapixel macro is so crap that it will be outperformed by the main sensor, which inclusion of it is just a marketing uh marketing way like the phone, has three lenses instead of two because hey, why would you have two lenses? It makes the phone look worse, uh. It doesn't matter that the lenses that are included to make it above two are just complete and out of garbage so yeah, I kind of hate this marketing scheme, because it's nothing else in an absolute scheme, so yeah um now moving further past this in terms of video recording, I'm just gonna quickly go over it. Furthermore, it records at 4k 30 frames, and if you drop it down resolution to 1080p, you can record at 30 and 60 along with 120. I believe 120 will be slow motion. So let me quickly check it: uh 4k, 1080, 60 to 90 30.
, so yeah, it's going to be a slow motion, because we can only record a 1080p 60, normally um and front facing camera can also record at 1080p, 30 and 720 120 frames, slow motion again, but with even lower resolution and now going to the actual bread and butter of this phone, which is going to be the specifications of it. So we have snapdragon 76 through 2g now, which was already mentioned, based on this little thing uh, but I'm gonna also mention another thing, so the uh better version of this or the more expensive. I guess, however, you want to look at it. Uh comes with the actually better processor, so snapdragon 780 g, which is a 5 gig, 5g, capable chipset, meaning that the device actually has 5 5g connectivity. This one does not also in terms of storage.
We have a couple different variants, so the one that I have right here, I believe it's probably gonna- be the cheapest one yep. So this is the oh. No, it's actually not the cheapest one. This is the 120 six gigabyte ram uh. The cheapest version of this phone will be the six uh 64 gigabytes, six gigabytes ram, and then you have the 120 gig storage with six or eight gigabyte ram.
So you can choose whichever one you want. All of them come with an UFS 2.2 storage, so it should be fairly decent. I'd, say decent enough to record that for or encode at 4k and uh. You also have the ability to expand the storage using SD card, although it is a shared storage, meaning that you will have to choose. If you want to use two different sim cards or one sim card and one SD card um, let me just pop it out quickly.
Just so you can see what I mean once I find the tray there we go. So you can see. One side is just a single sim tray and if you flip it over, you have the SD tray that doubles also as a sim tray. So you can choose what you want to pop in here, but this side is only SD or not is the sm3 I mean, and let's just pop it back in and finish it up so. Lastly, the device battery uh is a 4250 William hour battery, so a thousand two hundred and fifty Williams uh, which is actually fairly surprising.
Considering like you can see this device is thin. So let me compare it to my daily driver, which is the mate 20 pro, and I would consider this to be a or used to consider this to be a fairly thin device, and you can see it is significantly thicker than this and in terms of weight, it's basically double the weight of this one um and in terms of charging uh, like we've seen 33 watt uh fast charger. Now there was no uh, nothing about how quick it charges, so I will assume, probably 100 in about an hour to hour and a half something along those lines. That's what I'll be expecting, although I'm just kind of guessing based on the charging charger that they provided and lastly um it does come with a fingerprint sensor, but it's not under display it's on the side, and before I finish this off, I'm going to set up a fingerprint, so we can see how quick it works. Now from what I remember last time, I did a fingerprint on.
I believe it was another homophone. These side mounted fingerprints are ridiculously fast. So let's see there, we go done so, let's see now, I'm going to lock it yeah. That is like I'm just I'm just literally topping it. You don't even need to press it, and can see how quick it works.
I'm trying to literally just touch it, but that seems to be a little too quick, so yeah, it is just blazing fast, fingerprint and honestly, if, if you get such a fast fingerprint sensor, this, I would say out, performs any kind of under display fingerprint like there's no comparison to it. To be honest, so yeah superfast fingerprint sensor and, lastly, I will mention the price tag which is 300 and about 19 I give or take. I believe if the devices are on sale or different people be buying it on something like an Amazon, I believe you can probably find out different price ranges as well and also depending on which version you go for. I believe that 319 is the cheapest one. So if you go for like 120 gigabyte storage with eight gigabytes ram, obviously it's going to be more, but other than that.
If we just take the base price of it at basically 300. This is an outstanding device. A 90 hertz display refresh rate uh AMOLED, with um, with fairly just decent performance of the device. It doesn't have 5g at least not this one uh, the other one with 5g will be also a little more uh. But if you want the future-proof, I guess it might be worth dropping extra dollar on that one and yeah.
It's really nice device. It feels nice in the hand, works nice, and I can't really complain past the single lens that just bugs me about every device bugs me with those lenses. To be honest, the 5, megapixel, macro or depth. Sensors are just useless trash and I just hate it. So I always point it out, but other than that this device just works really nicely and for the price range it is an outstanding uh price for the device.
