Hello everybody. This is me Johan. Here the Samsung s10 lite comes with three cameras in the red: a 48 megapixel primary sensor, a 12 megapixel ultrawide sensor and a 5 megapixel macro sensor and a 32 megapixel selfie camera. Now, how do they perform in real world usage? Let's dive into it. Pictures taken with the main sensor come out looking very natural and pleasant with accurate colors and the details well maintained and also good dynamic range pictures taken with the ultra white sensor are highly saturated images. There is a clear shift in color from the main sensor, but nevertheless give the pictures, a vibrant and a dramatic feel the macro camera impressed as I landed up getting some highly detailed macro shots, and this is one of the best macro cameras.
I've used on the smartphone, the 5x zoom picks turned out good with decent details and were very much usable. The 8x zoom pictures, which is the maximum limit, turned out soft with a loss of overall detail and the pictures had a bit of a graphical look. The live, focus mode picks also known as portrait mode turned out. Superb, with very good subject: separation and a pleasing background blur, resulting in some excellent live focus. Pictures the panorama picks also came out to look impressive.
Moving to selfies, the selfies taken in daylight turn out sharp and detailed, also maintaining the details. In the background. The live focus mode, also known as portrait mode selfies, also came out good, whether taken on the normal mode or the ultra white mode, either way. The results are great but great. Subject: separation and background growth moving to low light, the picks taken on the rear camera in low light under sufficient light turned out impressive, but almost no noise preserving the details and pleasant colors in challenging situations where it is very dark, and the night mode is required over here.
The night mode disappoints and lands up, taking images that don't look good with dull, colors and overall unsatisfactory results. Selfies taken in low light with enough light tend to brighten the skin a little but land up, looking good in extremely low light. The selfie flash helps in getting good picks with natural skin tones. I was quite satisfied with the low light selfie camera performance. Moving to videos footage taken on the rear camera at 1080p, 60fps turned out sharp and detailed.
You can take videos that max out at 4k 60fps even over here. The footage was crisp and detailed.4K 30fps is the maximum resolution on the selfie camera. The footage tends to not handle direct sunlight very well, as the footage tends to become dim. Otherwise, when focused away from direct sunlight, the footage is nice and sharp 1080p 60fps videos on the selfie camera turned out excellent, with excellent colors and able to handle harsh lighting videos with super steady is on max out at 1080p 30fps. The footage is super stable, but there is a noticeable shift in colors, which tend to look rather over saturated.
Videos with super steady is in dim light turn out grainy, resulting in considerable loss of detail. The focusing speed is fast and smooth and never really had any problems focusing on the subject, even in low light under sufficient light. The 4k 60fps footage on the rear camera came out bright and detailed with almost no noise. The very same can be said about the 4k 30fps footage taken on the selfie camera. The low light video quality took me, my surprise, live focus mode.
Videos can be taken on the selfie camera as well as a rear camera, and they turned out good super slow motion. Videos can also be taken. The footage I was able to get out of it looked great when launched the s10 lite did not have a full-featured promo, but now on one UI 2.5. It now has a full-featured pro mode for both pictures and videos here are a few snaps I've taken on the pro mode, as well as a video I've taken on promo. This is something people who are into photography will enjoy fiddling around with to conclude the Samsung s10 lights cameras take impressive pictures and videos with fantastic audio output.
Out of the video footage that come very close to the top tier flagships and quality. The only noticeable con was the average night mode and a saturated shift of colors when using the ultra white camera, which, by the way, looked bright and punchy. Anyone planning to purchase the s10 light for its cameras will definitely be more than satisfying as it is a perfect point and shoot camera experience which will leave you delighted.
