What is up guys, Dr haystack over here, so it's been a crazy one month with Samsung like a month ago they had their Samsung unpacked event, which they announced a lot of products, and they have been slowly coming out with their products for the public, like you guys have seen initially, where we got the Galaxy Note, 20 ultra, and I'll be honest with you guys, like initially, my thought was to get the Galaxy Note 20, because that's probably a better deal like if you have seen the Galaxy Note, 10 and note 10, plus there wasn't much of a difference. I thought it's going to be the same thing with the note 20 and 20 ultra, but that's not the case like on the note.20 you're going to get a lot of cutoffs here and there compared to the ultra, which you know what I decided. Let's go on for the note20 ultra to make all these videos for you guys and then, of course, now we have the tablets from Samsung the tab, s7 and s7 plus, and to be honest, this one was much easier for me to choose, and I chose the tab at 7 and, as you can see here, I have the s6 which I bought earlier this year before the whole world went into lockdown, and I've decided you know what to try out the s7 over here. I'm going to show you guys what's inside, and I'm going to tell you why the s7 actually for me is a better deal compared to the s7 plus. So right out of the box, like there isn't much difference between the s7 and s7 plus, like there's only major two major differences. I would say that will make you more betting to spend your extra dollars your Xbox 200 bucks to get the s plus.
So one thing I do really like now is the fact that you're going to get the keyboards right off the box. You don't have to buy it separately, like the s6 I have over here, and here is the tablet over here again, it's really similar size to the 10x6, and you get the s pen over here, which is also pretty similar to the tap s6 light. I would say: uh, not the s6 over here that I have, so we're gonna talk about the s7 right now so, like I said there are two major differences which I think probably would make you decide to go for the plus version, okay, so the first major difference is, of course, the size of this like on the s7, is coming in at 11 inches compared to the 12 something inch on the sub plus. For me, I do prefer something which I can carry around something light and easy. I like to just put it nicely in my bag to carry around, so I need something like which is more of a good size for me to do that with the s7 plus, which comes in at like 12 plus inches it's much bigger, but maybe for you guys, you would like to your know: consume content more on a bigger screen, you'd like to do more work with the DEX mode, which we will talk about it later on, and the next thing, of course, is the screen on this, like on the s7 you're, going to get an LCD on the s7 plus, you can get all that s3.
Both they do come in with 120 hertz, so you don't have to worry about the refresh rate. A lot of people would, you know, complain about the s7 having CDs like you know, LCD don't go for LCD. Go for all that. That's always the case when it comes to phones or whatsoever, but have you ever seen anyone complain about you know the iPad pros or whatsoever, and those screens come in with LCD, but everybody says like it looks so good. It looks so.
Vibrant everything, the refresher is great, and I do expect that same on the s7, like Samsung, always makes one of the best display series out there. The OLED screens they make are the best and if they can make the best OLED screens, I'm pretty sure they can make very good LCD screens as well. So, yes, it's not going to be a huge downgrade. You know like coming from an OLED screen all the way to an LCD which, for me, I don't think it's going to be much of a difference. I have seen both screens side by side with each other at the Samsung source.
So, to be honest, I look at it. Maybe for you guys if you want to watch content, and you like really need the deep, blacks or whatsoever uh. Maybe that's going to be a dealbreaker for you guys, but to be honest, like as a consumer myself, I use a lot of phones. I use a lot of tablets. I do prefer you know, like the s7 here with the LCD screen.
It's good enough for me, so other differences that may not even like to make a difference for you. Guys is the fact that okay, you have like an s pen on the s7 SL plus the s7 plus the latency, is apparently nine milliseconds compared to the 20 plus milliseconds on the s7. If you're going to draw or write a lot, maybe will make a lot of difference, but to be honest, even with the tapas 6, where I write Andre a bit here and there, it's not gonna, be much of a difference for me and also yes, uh with the s7 plus, you can get a bigger battery compared to the s7 over here, like on the s7, when you're coming at 8000 compared to the 10000 on the SL plus. But then again you have to remember that's a bigger screen and then all that screen, so you're going to push a bit more battery on that. Compared to this and as a Samsung user, I don't expect a big difference between the so-called battery performance between these products.
It's going to be about the same, I would say, maybe an extra hour or so but uh. If you can look for like a huge battery, you know performance, I don't think that's going to be a real dealbreaker for you guys. So then, like I said like both for this s7 and s7 plus, they are very similar to each other you're going to get 120hz refresh rate you're going to get about the same cameras on both of these tablets. You can get the same, build as well. I'm going to get aluminum in the back you're going to get a classic front, you're going to get a side fingerprint on the s7 comparator in display on the s7 plus.
That's a bit of a difference over there you can get the same fast charging you're going to get the same one UI 2.5 and the same DEX mode and talk about the DEX mode. Again, I am going to be very impressed with the s7 over here. I think they do have wireless DEX mode, which you can try out, but it's very nice to know that I can use DEX mode right off the tablet over here like on the s6 you can see over here. I don't need any cables. Furthermore, I don't need a smart TV, it's very nice to you know to have a laptop experience with the tablet I have over here on the s7 and s6.
So that is it. This is the s7 for you guys. I hope this will help. You decide whether you should go for the tap s7 or s7 plus like for me here. I don't think I want to spend the extra 200 USD to get the s7 plus.
For me, the s7 really does it for me, but that's just me.
