Hi everyone- this is mark of technical in this new video, I'm going to give you my quick, unboxing initial setup and features rundown of the all-new realm c15, which is great for students and young professionals in the new normal, especially for those who are looking for a new budget-friendly gadget companion for their online learning or even their work from home arrangements. Okay, so later I'll share with you, the SRP or the official price of this handset, but for now join me, let's go alright! So before anything, let's remove the plastic cover. Okay, okay, as you can see, the Realme c15s box is quite different compared to the packaging of its siblings, like the Realme 6i or the Realme six, because it doesn't just have a plain, yellow a collar. So what you have here on top is actually a very cool design, very creative, and this was uh the winner of realm Philippines's, dual challenge. As you know, one of the cool things about Realme is that they have a very localized marketing campaign or program in various countries, and they always engage the youth in their advertising campaign. So this one was created by a filipino youth uh who joined real me, Philippians doodle challenge earlier this year, so really nice right so check out all those elements.

So I was told that this is a limited edition release with this on the sign of the box. So if you're one of the first, then you can very well enjoy this packaging. Okay. So, as you can see, the Realme c15 branding is here on this side. You have the region c15 name and of course you have that uh, Mr battery banner right there, because this phone has really tremendous battery life which I'll talk about later here.

On this side, we have Mr owl for picture perfect so because this phone has a perfect set of cameras, and it's also great for gaming game, one really c15, and on top here you have the Realme logo, with this cool guy right here and um. You have icons here for watching movies, because this phone really has a great display for viewing content. Okay, so at the bottom you have the four main selling points of this phone. You have the six thousand William hours massive battery, then you have a 13 megapixel, AI quad camera, the 6.5 inch mini drop full screen and finally, the 18 watts quick charge, support for the 6 000 William hours battery pack and my unit here is the Realme c15, seagull silver, with three gigs of ram and 64 gigs of internal storage. It's so we're now, finally ready to lift the cover, and just like the previous realm phones, that I've unboxed.

You have this message here: hey welcome to the Realme family, a Realme logo. This is the paper sleeve, let's embrace a new journey, and this is the pin for ejecting the sim card tray documentation, okay, wow! So you have this now. This is the first ever that you're seeing this. So this is the Realme pH community car. Then you have this logo right here, and this one has some message from the Realme squad.

So let's read it hi squad from the moment you open your new realm smartphone. You are now a part of a fun and informative community who is here for your digital needs. As part of staying true to our commitment being a brand for the young who really listens to our community, we proudly present this limited edition, c15 custom design box made by our own community member Vince Rico Hermosa. So Vince is the one who designed this box and like what I said, he's the one who won the real doodle challenge earlier this year, so kudos to Vince Miranda. I really like it.

Okay, so continuing with the message from a simple community led doodle challenge to producing it as an actual package design. This is just the first step for us to transform our community into a co-creating space where we can share ideas and grow really into a brand. That's really with the young and fourth young. We hope to have more fans be part of our future projects. Thank you.

So I was told that uh real means in the global company will also be doing similar projects in other countries, and, what's amazing, is that they got the idea from the Philippines so kudos to the marketing team here in the Philippines uh, including miss Austin, Wang, of course, Mr Easton de Guzman, Kyle Huber and everyone in the squad and, of course, their pr agency here in the Philippines ardent communication, so great job, everyone to everyone in the team we haven't mentioned, congratulations! So next we have the quick guide and what's special about this, is that it now unravels so compared to the quick guide of previous models, which came in the form of a booklet. This one is just one big sheet of paper, and it's already in various languages because, as you do really is growing in many parts of the world. So here you have the phones as complete technical specifications. So later I'll be talking about those in greater detail.

That's it and then here you have the important information guide, which also gives you safety by information about the Realme c15. Okay. So let me just take this out the pin okay and then, of course, you have the phone. This is the wheelie z15 everyone great now that okay, so I'll show you more of the device later for now, let's just complete the unboxing next, okay. So next we have this.

This is the micro USB to USB charging cable and what I like about it is that this is quite long so and finally, this is the travel charger and, as you can see here, it supports two-way output, so the phone itself, as I've mentioned earlier, supports 18 watts of fast charging, and this travel charger according to real me, also supports that okay. So this is the complete realm c15 retail package here in the Philippines, you have the Realme z15 unit itself, then you have the travel charger, the micro USB 2.0 to USB charging cable, imported information guide, the quick guide or the user manual, which now unravels the pin for ejecting the sim card tray. And finally, you have this really Philippine squad card for the realm c15. This is a limited edition release with the Realme doodle by Mr rain's Ricoh Hermosa. Now, let's remove the plastic cover and turn the device on okay, wow fascinating back design again.

What I have here is the Realme c15 and seagull silver. So you have this back design, which has all of these micro lines. This back panel is polycarbonate, and it has a metallic sheen to it and these fine needles, the micro lines, form these diagonal patterns. That really gives the phone an air of elegance and sophistication. When light hits it really nice right.

Definitely this phone looks more expensive than it actually is, and later I'll talk more about the SRP of this device. So you have the README logo there, and here you have the quad rear camera module. So let's set up the Realme c15, okay, so let's select the language what's great about this phone. Is that for users here in the Philippines, there's also Filipino language, which you can use if you prefer that, but for the purposes of this unboxing I'll stick with English United States next there. Next, the terms of service like the realm smartphone user agreement and the user experience program privacy statement.

So if you have time, read those for now, we're just going to agree to them. Next, let's connect to the Wi-Fi network. After connecting to Wi-Fi, we can turn on the Wi-Fi assistant, which automatically switches to the best Wi-Fi connection available. Okay, so it won't turn on the auto switch. The mobile network, because I want to have manual control of that here.

You can uh choose to copy apps and data from your older phone if you're, upgrading from an older android smartphone. So for now I won't do that, and we can finally log in to our Google account key and my password here I can add my phone number to google. So it says here if you like, you can add this phone's number to your account for use across google services. So I'm just going to skip this for now. Here we can choose which Google services you want to turn on or to turn off, okay, except so this is for voice matching.

I believe I've done this before okay, so the phone detected that they've already registered my voice with Google next, what's good about this phone is that in terms of privacy and security, you have multiple layers of protection. You have facial recognition here, integrated with the front-facing camera and at the back, this phone actually has a fingerprint scanner so right there and of course this also supports your passcode or pattern unlock. So here we can add, you know a password for unlocking the interface or also a swipe pattern. If you prefer that it's just a pattern, let me show you that so, as I said, this phone has facial recognition, and you can enroll that here, but I actually prefer using the fingerprint scanner at the back, so I'm just going to set that up. Okay.

So this is how you add your fingerprint. You just have to keep on tapping on this panel right here. There's a sensor here so making sure that your entire fingerprint touches the sensor, and it's done continue. So here you can choose to turn on the auto update overnight, so I prefer updating my phone manually. So I'm just going to turn this off realm calls it clone the phone feature which lets you quickly migrate data such as contacts and photos from your old phone to this new one apart from Google Play Store.

Realm has its own app market where you can download the application. So actually, this is where I've been downloading the an tutu benchmark application. So it's really nice that you have that option apart from Google Play Store and finally welcome to realm UI get started. Okay. This is realm UI 1.0 on top of android 10 operating system. So that's the home screen.

This is the app drawer. You can also quickly search for apps here. This is the drop-down notifications tab there, and this is the quick access buttons for your connectivity here. You can connect easily to Wi-Fi Bluetooth, and you can also turn on your mobile connectivity here, as well as to turn off sound for silent mode and also for vibration. When you're traveling, you can turn on airplane mode right there, and you also have other features like, for example, eye comfort right there, and also this phone has dark mode which you can easily turn on here.

You also have Realme share for quickly sharing files between two Realme phones, okay, so before anything, I want to show you again the design of the phone. So this is the face, and it has a 6.5-inch, HD plus IPS display and, as you can see, it has very thin bezels. This is the top part, and this is the bottom okay. So, as you can see, the bottom part is a bit thicker than the top part. But for me, I'm okay with that, because that actually prevents my palm from accidentally touching.

The display Realme caused the screen, a mini drop display because of this mini drop notch on top, so this notch houses, an 8, megapixel, f 2.0 front facing camera, which is powered by realm's own beautification software. So if you love taking selfies, you can definitely rely on this camera right here to give you good ones. So that's the face on the right side. Here we have the volume rocker and the power button. So, as you can see, the sides are chambered which gives the phone a more sophisticated look.

So on the other side. So on the left side, we have the sim card tray, which you can inject using the provided pin. So let's do that, as you can see, the phone has two NATO sim card slots and one micro SD card slot, so the micro SD card slot is dedicated, which means that you won't have to sacrifice dual sim capability just to get more space for your large files. Let's put it back, okay, nothing. On top, and here at the bottom, you have the 3.5 millimeter audio jack. These two holes are for the microphone.

This is the micro USB 2.0 charging port and these four holes are for the loudspeaker and finally, at the back, I've talked about the design right. So again, this is the fingerprint scanner, which is a good security feature of the realm c15, and you won't find this on the more affordable, realms 11. Okay. So this camera module right here, as you can see, is a squirrel module, or it's a square with rounded sides and corners, and this is actually similar to the design of the camera module of the real mc11. However, what's special about the Realme c15 is that it now has four cameras at the back.

So let me talk about the four cameras of the Realme c15. So, as I've said, this is an AI powered camera module which means that it benefits from realm's own imaging algorithm. So the phone automatically detects which subject you are taking and adjust the colors, the shadows and the highlights to give you better, looking images, okay, so the four cameras. So this quad camera module is made up of a 13 megapixel main camera, which is the most powerful of the bunch in terms of the resolution, the whiteness of the aperture and sensor size, and it's also the most flexible uh across different lighting conditions and for taking different subjects. So that's the one really that you will go to for everyday point and shoot photography.

So the second one is an 8 megapixel ultra-wide angle. Camera, which is great for capturing scale, so it's great for landscape or architectural photography, so the other two cameras are quite interesting. The third one is a black and white camera and, according to our friends from realm, it really allows this phone to have better looking shots in terms of HDR or, for example, in situations wherein the background is a lot brighter than the foreground, which results in more pleasing images. And then, finally, we have a retro camera, which is more or less like a depth sensor. But according to our friends from real me, it is a lot better in such a way that it makes um focusing on the subject faster, or it allows the phone to really um pick the subject faster and, more accurately, from the background.

As you all know, the portrait mode lets you add background blur or both effect to your images, which is particularly useful when you're taking a solo, shots or portrait shots of people, as well as when you're snapping photos, for example, of your food or even your toys and less they forget. This phone also has a LED flash, which is really handy when you're snapping images in low light to zero lighting conditions. Okay, so going back to the face of the phone. Actually, let's just change the wallpaper first, and you do that by long pressing, the screen here we can choose from a few ones. So let me just choose this one, because it goes with the color of the phone all right.

So now, let's talk about the internal hardware of this phone. For that, let's go to the settings about phone. Okay again, the Realme c15 runs its real mini 1.0 customized android 10 operating system with a 12 nanometer outscore 2.3 gigahertz MediaTek hello g35 processor, which is a fairly new chipset from our friends at MediaTek on that, as they say, makes entry-level smartphones better in terms of gaming performance that chipset with its power, VR and GE.8320 GPU should allow users to be able to play popular gaming titles in this phone, especially mobile legends, which is a partner of Realme here in the Philippines. So that's very exciting. So now we won't have to spend too much money to be able to play popular games on your handset, so that chipset is complemented by either three gigs of ram or four gigs of ram for the Realme c15.

So you have two versions of freebie c15 in the Philippines and both versions have 64 gigs of internal storage. All right. So now let me talk about, what's probably the most special feature of the Realme c15 on top of all the technical specifications that I've just mentioned. So the Realme c15, you can say, is like the new battery king in the entry level category, and it's because it has a very large 6, 000 William hours, battery pack, which is even bigger than the battery of the Realme z11, which is at 5000 William hour. So the 6 000 William hours battery pack allows this phone to have 57 days of standby time, and it gives you up to 46 hours of call time.30 rounds of PUBG games also 18.6 hours of watching online movies, and you can even play up to 1 200 songs on a single charge. So that's really amazing and uh.

Such large battery pack will really be handy for students these days with their online learning and also for ERPs or our young professionals, who are working from home. Currently, who need a phone for helping them to accomplish tasks, so the front facing camera can record full HD videos, and that should also give you better resolution for your zoom or your video calls or video meetings with your office mates or your clients, and also the main camera at the back can also record full HD videos. So for students who will be making PowerPoint presentations with photos and videos, then you can use uh the cameras front and back cameras to create better content that you have to submit to your professors in school. So again that super large battery pack makes this phone the new entry-level battery king and that's exactly the reason why you have Mr battery right here on the box of the Realme c15 right. So there you go again.

Let me just go through some of the features that I like about the Realme c15. First off you have this beautiful design, it's very eye-catching and elegant uh. Real me always has these very intricately designed backplates for their handsets, and although this is made of plastic, and it's not really metal, it still looks very elegant. So that's first the design. Then, of course you have the quad rear camera module, which uh has an interesting set of cameras which all together should be able to make this phone a really versatile, point-and-shoot camera substitute, something that you can use for both uh accomplishing tasks and projects for school or work.

And then you have this gorgeous display. This is the 6.5-inch HD, plus IPS, display with very thin bezels, which should give you a really great viewing experience when you're watching videos, reading articles or maybe even just reading, e-books for school, watching videos, vlogs reading blogs all right, and then you have the internal hardware. You have that new chipset from MediaTek the hello g35 processor, which should make this a decent gaming phone. It might be a great gaming phone in its price category because you know, as you all know, realm has more powerful gaming handsets in the mid-range and also in the flagship level category which I've talked about previously. And finally, you have the very large battery pack, six thousand William hours for extended uptime, maybe even multiple days of uptime, on a single charge.

So definitely, if you're going to ask me, am I recommending the realm c15 for students, young professionals, definitely a great update from your current entry-level android smartphone or, if you're, getting your first android smartphone, certainly one that you should check out okay, so the official price of the Realme c15 is 6490 for the model, with three gigs of ram and 64 gigs of internal storage and six 990 for the one, with four gigs of ram and 64 gigs of internal storage.
