Okay guys welcome to my real-world Pixel 3a battery test after a year now I'm filming this on my iPhone, because, quite frankly, the pixel three days. Video capabilities are not that great, so I'm going to be giving you updates as I use my Pixel 3a throughout the day. I've put my actual Simone, so I'm going to be using it, as I normally would,, I'm just filming on my phone but doing everything else on the pixels 3a. So, let's see how it holds up so here I am in my car, and usually I do plug the phone in, so I get Android auto as I'm driving to work. The commutes short is less than 10 minutes, so there won't be much of a power boost there, and you can see the battery's at 97%. All I've done this morning is get up.
Take the ROG for a walk and I, listen to some Spotify while it is doing that and just browse Twitter for a bit. So, that's that's why it's at 97%, ok, here I'm at work and there's going to be a very busy morning, so I'll go and get that much time to use the phone I'll still be getting messages and such like that I'll have to check in on, but I probably won't be using it very much, so it'll be a good test or hopefully standby battery time now. Mobile reception at work is pretty poor, but I've got good Wi-Fi, so we'll see how that gets on. So just a quick check before we really get into it. So currently we have the battery at 96%.
You can see the mobile reception is so bad in fact that it's dropped off, and I don't have Wi-Fi calling here, and we've got full Wi-Fi reception, so with it being around 8:20 I need to get stuck into some work, and I'll update you around lunchtime for busy morning. It's now midday and I have an afternoon off, so I'm, just leaving and probably going to go for a run haven't been using the phone that much just checking a few emails etc. And let's have a look at the battery life, so we're not doing too badly we're at 83%, but let's see how it fares with a lunchtime run with some Strata played some music just on a 25-minute run with Strata on and playing music and yeah feel good. Let's see what the battery percentages! Well, it's not too bad. It's 83% after that, so we're holding up nicely I've had no anxieties, phones performing smoothly there were no hiccups with Strata just had look at the math.
It looks good so onwards, time to grab some lunch and head home to spend some time of the family. I was, of course, the afternoon I'll probably be doing some more photos. Maybe a little of video a little of Harry Potter wizards unite to avoid daughter from us. We how we get on I'm not intending to plug into the charger at home. I am just going to put it into the car for Android, auto on the way home.
Sorry caught me enjoying still one of my favorite features of the pixel 3/8, mainly the headphone jack. It's one of the few phones from the major manufacturers that still come to their headphone jack I'm. Setting Apple have done away with it. Samsung only supports it on their lower end models and the pixel for even doesn't have one but how's the battery held up. So it's now or 8:30:7 p.
m. and I've done a bit more music listening and texting and Twitter activity on the pixels, free and stuff and I even had a half an hour. Zoom conference call at work a wrap up before the weekend and yeah I haven't charged. It Is told it anything plugged in I haven't been back in white car or anything. So, let's take a look at where we're at so there you have it.
We appeared to now be at 35 percent battery saver off that he can see blah blah blah and there we go screen time of three and a half hours with still just over a third remaining. So theoretically, I've got at least another hour and a half there, which should give me a total screen on time of just over 5 hours. So I've seen 5 to 6 hours, which I think is really very decent. This budget model look it's easily got me to 840 was just about 10 20 minutes of slow charging in the car or such driving places I've not been particularly worrying about enabling battery saving mode or anything and have no anxieties. Gonna dime for I get bed.
Clearly, you can kill this battery cook I'm sure. If you spent a long time playing games it wouldn't last as long I, don't know, I'm pretty happy with it still even after a year, I think it's held up pretty solidly thanks for watching the video guys, I hope you found that useful. If you liked the video I'd be extremely grateful. If you could hit the like button and even consider subscribing see in the next one.
