NEW IPHONE 8 PLUS UNBOXING!! By Baby Gizmo

Hey everybody, its Holly and Savannah, and today we are unboxing. The iPhone 8 plus all right, I decided that I have been using the 6 for about a year and a half, and it was time to upgrade so as soon as they announced the new 8 I pre-ordered and the reason I got the 8 plus as opposed to the 8, is because I wanted the better camera I wanted the bigger screen, and so I'm really hoping. This is as awesome as I think it will be, and she's excited now tell us why you're excited about the iPhone A+ well I'm excited because I need to see what it looks like and yeah the camera quality is, and I also excited because I get her iPhone, that's right, Knight upgraded from the sick, so she gets upgrade from the 5 to the 6. So she's really excited about that, and I'm excited about my new phone. So we thought we would unbox this today with you guys now. Here's the thing I didn't order, what you can't even order.

Yet the iPhone 10, which is it, looks like iPhone x4. They call the iPhone time because it's not out till November 3rd and the biggest difference between the 10 and the 8 is the face ID, so that you can open it with your face and I think it would be great for her not to open it, because our face is completely or different, but I just didn't think I needed it, and it was more expensive. So I went with the still expensive, iPhone 8 plus I'm excited that it has the four kit films, video in 4k, which is great for us. We do a lot of video I am excited that the camera is even better than the 7, not that I had the 7, so I'm, really not comparing it to that. Okay, you know I ordered the silver so very similar to the one I think that I had before, so this is we're. Just going to show you the size difference between the six and the eight. Why? Because we don't have the seven, but here's a good thing, ? that with the seven plus you can get the same size, so you can use the same cases, and then I just happen to have a seven plus case.

If somebody gave me here's the thing actually Tulsa gave this to me at a conference, so I'm gonna use this temporarily, but I order. The cutest came in from case to five, and I've never worked from none before I paid an extra shipping so that it would be here by Friday, yeah, I, guess what it was. No, it doesn't show up yet, so we couldn't wait anymore to unbox I mean that can't sit. This I have this sitting on my desk without opening it, so we're going to have to show you my super cute case later, and we were waiting for the case to five case to get here before we order her a new one, just to make sure we liked it. You know I want to get too many and then all of a sudden you find out you don't like it so stay tuned.

For that video. We will show you what my new case, but for right now. We're opening the iPhone 8 plus, and what we're going to do. Are we're gonna, bring you down to the table here so that you can kind of see it up close and personal since we've already talked right? Let's do it the musically way, oh- and here is the case that it comes, and this is the box I'm very, very excited about this off, wait for it wait for if it's another piece paper is big, get your camera or your phone and show it next to it. Now that that is the 6s, and that is the eight plus.

But as we said, the 8 plus is the same size as the seven plus, but it has a better camera now, the camera. It has a 12 megapixel main wide-angle camera, and it also has a 12 megapixel telephoto camera as an optical zoom. It has portrait mode, and I'm really excited about the portrait mode, because the portrait mode puts the person focus and then blurs the background. So that is gonna, be super cool and also autofocus, with folks all focus pixels. It's got portrait lighting, let's get it out of the box well, and since it's so big and um, these are like a little big, so we hold them like with our pinkies at the bottom.

My mom's going to get a pop something I can't put on the back. I am gonna, get a pop socket. Okay, let's see. First, all we have let's look at this first now you have the huge screen. Now this is going to be different from the iPhone 10, because the iPhone 10 is gonna, have a bigger screen, it's gonna, be the whole front of it's going to be a screen.

It also is not going to have the home button. It's going to have the facial recognition the face ID, what they call it. Okay, this is different. I didn't think it had a wait, a minute. It was supposed to be wireless, and I thought it was supposed to be home wireless charger.

Huh, wait! No, no wait a minute! This is a cord I. Like my horn, I literally didn't think I was gonna, have a cord, because I thought it was supposed to be like splash, proof, yeah, and so clearly that is not going to be splash proof, because of that it's going to be plugged in now it has. We will find out more about that wireless charging in a second. It has an all glass back and front, so it's going to make it a little more fragile. Now they say that the glass is, like the know, most durable in a smartphone ever, but it's still glass, so I'm still going to put it into a case.

I'm still going to be nervous about dropping it. So, but there is the silver let me find out about the wireless charging. Okay, so we have looked it up and here's the thing: it doesn't wireless charging, but it doesn't come with the wireless charger which that's kind of a boo, but then there's this thing in the car, where it's a charging station yeah, that's in the middle of our car. Yes, and you put your phone on it, and it charges it, and it should work with this and that's because of the glass back, and you know we found out in the time we were looking about the wireless charging, the 8 plus is too big. It won't fit, so I can't charge it in our car, even though we have a 2017 and that should be able to charge in that I'm charging port thing in the between the seats, but the eight-plus is just too big.

So let's show you what else is in the box, so we have the box so that you can plug it in. We have got Bluetooth. No, these are not Bluetooth, those funds these they would not give us Bluetooth headphones. These actually have a cord. You have to pay $160 for the Bluetooth ones, oh and because there is no headphone jack, as you can see, no headphone jack like there was on the six.

Then they give you this little adapter. If you want to use the wired headphones, and you just plug that into the bottom port, and then you can plug your headphones in. So these are not wireless. Well, that's kind of deceiving they're like oh look. They gave us wireless ones, no, no, they didn't they just hit the cord to make me feel fancy um, so hey, but it's headphones.

I already have Bluetooth ones, and then we have the charging cord right here now. If I wanted to go ahead and get a wireless charger, I could, and then it would work with that which is fantastic um. So that is the iPhone 8 plus, as you can see, it feels really nice. In my hand, I mean obviously it's really huge and when I type I'm going to have my pinky on here. So I'm going to have to get some type of holder like a pop socket or something like that or a special case.

I know some cases have that ring on the back, but I already have ordered a case, and it doesn't have that, so we will see okay. So now we have taken out of the box. I set the phone up. I didn't think you guys wanted to watch me set the phone up, but it works right away out of the box because I got it from Verizon and they know, that's where I ordered it from, so they had it already for me, but what we're going to do is we are going to take the plastic off because it's killing her it's just sticking out of the bag digging out. We just want to see the whole thing.

Okay, so we're gonna, take the let me power it on while we're taking it off Oh. In that way, we can show them there. We go yeah, it's such a beautiful piece of technology, but it's so fragile that you to cover it with a case now. The case I ordered, like I, said, which I can't show you, because it didn't show up in time it's at it's clear with the design on it. So I still get to see the beautiful back of the iPhone, but it's just like I said: I would love to carry it around like this, but there's no way I would trust myself.

No, no one drop in the grocery store parking lot, and it's over, so I'm really really gorgeous hey. So we have the rear camera. We've got the front camera in the rear camera. We've got the two buttons over here for the volume we have. The little switch that turns off the sound we've got the port down there.

That charge. Is it I, don't know why they accurate names for the stuff? Okay, because if you want accurate names, then you can go to like you know, one of those one of those other video is that they're, like really technical, they're like here's, why the cameras different I just know the cameras better I. Just that's that's what I know, and I know that the video is better, and we're going to check that out in a second we're gonna check out the camera quality. So, okay, we're gonna, go ahead, and we're going to take some pictures, and we're going to show you those and just kind of give you an idea of the quality. Okay guys.

So we went and took some pictures, and I'm in love with the portrait mode. I love the fact that it keeps the subject in focus, and it blurs the background. So I don't have to have my big camera out. There I mean it's an expensive camera phone, but I love that feature. That's not something I've had on the 6, so I love that I think it takes phenomenal video, so I don't have to always be lugging.

My big camera around, especially when we travel. We do the travel videos, yeah I use my phone a lot and so having the upgraded 4k. Video is a nice option for me. I just love these I love the pictures. I love the camera.

It's so pretty. It is an affront. Camera works great for when we're doing selfies, which we did see a case that had a head like selfie lights on it so that it was like you as the selfies we did it. We thought that was a little over aw. She wants it.

I'm gonna, like she totally wants it for her car I'm like to Sophie she's like have you not met me, make a Snapchat. I know she's fine. We haven't gotten that case yet, but I thought it was kind of fun. So that is really the iPhone 8 plus. You will see obviously different videos and pictures, especially on Instagram you're gonna, see a lot of photos we take with the new 8 plus on our Instagram.
