Mi 10 Pro One Year Review. CAN MI 11 PRO TOP IT? By Frankie Tech

They did it they actually did it hi guys it's Frankie from Frankie tech good to see you guys again and on the eve of the launch of the Xiaomi mi 11. I want to look back to one of the phones from last year that I pretty much reached one year now with and that's none other than the 10 pro hands up. If you guys are still using this me 10 or me 10 pro series today, because it's been now almost a year since I've reviewed thoroughly reviewed the china version of this phone and then in March, a few months later, the international global version of this phone was released, and you know the mi 10 pro to me represented basically one of the best phones that Xiaomi released last year sure was upstaged. I would say, by the meet 10 ultra, which did so much right in terms of the cameras and improved the screen refresh rate of this phone to 120 hertz. But you know even still until the 11 launches. This is the best phone still that you can buy globally from Xiaomi and the 10 pro stood the test of time.

In my opinion, it is a true great device, one of the things that I really loved about this device. Well, first, the design was really beautiful. For its time. Of course, we had two colorways, the kind of white gold version, the china version I reviewed it was beautiful, but then Xiaomi sent over the global version in this gorgeous blue color, and I absolutely have loved this color since the day I got it. It is just a terrific looking device and on the front of course, we have kind of the blueprint for what you've seen with phones like the mi 10 ultra and the 11, with the punch hole off to the left, and you see you know the display still looks terrific, even after a year with tiny, bezels top and bottom.

To be honest, guys, the mi 11 design, I think, is really an iteration kind of an evolution of this design, but the core things that they did in this meet 10 pro are still there, and they got so much right. The first time in terms of display, obviously 6.67 inch OLED, 90 hertz, and it was a terrific display for its time now I would say it's maybe because of the refresh rate and the screen resolution, you know it's not going to be as wow as amazing as the me11, the mi 11 display I'd, say it's the best reason. The best thing why you'd want to pick up the me11 then and the speakers, but the neat 10 pro, even when I was using it the other day I said gosh. This is still a beautiful display and I don't think they skimped on the quality of this display. Definitely so one of the best aspects of this phone a year later into use performance- and this is one that now is, I think, a bit controversial, because we've seen the snapdragon 8 in a number of phones, and it's a great performer, but it does get a bit warm, and you know the benchmarks I think, aren't as out of this world as a lot of you guys hoped they would be.

I guess it's not as big of a jump from the snapdragon 865 and the performance of this device is still terrific. I don't ever get the feeling that I'm using a slow device- and you know the an tutu scores of this- were in the upper 500. Thousands approaching 600 000, that's still very much in line with some of the best phones, even the new AAA phones that you can get in terms of speakers. I don't need to say more. This is still in the top three of the best dual speakers on any smartphone.

Today I mean the mi 11 edges it out just by a little, but you know what the meat 10 pro seals is very rich, very beautiful sound, and it's definitely one of the highlights of this phone even a year into use. And last but not least, you could say the meat 10 ultra has the best cameras of any Xiaomi phone, including the me11, but second best is the meat 10 pro still and even after Xiaomi launches the 11. This phone is only going to be replaced in terms of cameras by the 11 pro or the 11 ultra once that comes out and with everything going on right now. I think these as a global unit, are still going to be the best cameras on a Xiaomi phone for another couple of months and the cameras here were terrific. Obviously, the introduction of the 108 megapixel camera from the note, 10 series and the amino 10 pro came over to this phone.

But then we got terrific. I mean terrific telephoto cameras on this me 10 pro. That still, I think, stand the test of time. We still get great zoom shots, great video. I think this was the series where Xiaomi really improved the mics, also on their phones and one big unsung thing about the mi 10 series is when they improved the haptics of this device.

The vibration motor of this me temp pro is still one of the best of any smartphone I've used, maybe not to the level of the 10 t pro or the 11 in my experience, but it's still rock solid and so all in all one year later, it's amazing to see how far we've come, but it's also amazing to see how well this me 10 pro and me 10 series have held up. So that is why, as we wait for the mi 11 global launch and then future me 11 pro me 11 ultra, how is Xiaomi going to top this already great release of the me10 pro? I guess we will wait and see, but for now, if you are still holding on to this phone, I think you are very happy because it does represent even here in early 2021, one of the best Xiaomi experiences that you can get in a smartphone, but hear me up in the comments.
