iQOO Neo 3 - UNBOXING & FIRST LOOK / Insane Price/Performance!

This is the IQ Neo three we're our number three of this device already and if you are a specs' lover, if you're an Android fan aspects and numbers fan, this phone is literally packing more numbers than you could ever count. It's got all the top and specs, but is it too good to be true what we're actually getting in this foam? The IQ Neo three so yeah? This is a snapdragon 865 phones and snap dragon.865 is an really expensive chipset. It's the latest greatest best flagship chipset in the Android world and finds that have it are incredibly expensive. But for some reason not this thing. This is under 3000 RB. This is actually 2600 RMB in China Chinese price, that is less than 400 US dollars for a flagship phone and how about screen refresh rates in 2020 we're moving into the high refresh rate era.

Ninety Hertz is the norm. Now you expect 90 Hertz, at least in every phone, that you get sixty Hertz. This isn't acceptable, but in a phone like this, it's a bit cheaper. Well, no, not sixty Hertz, not ninety Hertz, not even 120 Hertz. This has a 144 Hertz display, which is the same sort of refresh rate that you get on really high-end gaming monitors.

So how on earth can they give us a 144 Hertz display when other companies that are giving us that are charging a thousand bucks? Well, it is an LCD. Lcd is just simply are cheaper than OLED displays, and so they can reduce the price. A little. CDs come with some drawbacks over Oh LEDs in terms of color reproduction and contrast ratios I'm, a big fan of OLED screens in general over LCD, but to be honest, I can actually deal with this screen. I, don't think it gets really as bright as those really top end o LEDs, but overall it is certainly not a bad display.

I could definitely live with this display, no problem. You also get this hole punch in the top right hand corner so a modern design, whether you like the hole, punch or not or the notch or whatever else. This is a modern design. It looks like a 2020 phone with this cutout in the top right. It does feel like a 20 by 9 aspect ratio screen.

Furthermore, it is a bit taller and because of the LCD and the technology behind that the bottom bezel is always bigger. When you get an IPS LCD the bottom, bezel isn't as small as you get in those really high-end devices. This is just something you've got to live with, but for the price I think they've done a good job overall feels good, definitely a plastic or like a polycarbonate body, but the back seems to be glass, I, think, or it feels perfect. Anyway, I, like the color scheme on their sort of changes from blue to sort of mirrored finish on this. One I think overall, they've just done a perfect job.

The side mounted fingerprint sensor just works quickly. You know it's going to work well, they do have a headphone jack on here, which I think is a good thing. It's definitely something that the type of audience that would go for this phone would want if they're into gaming, they might want to put some good headphones in there. So they can actually get a good experience when they're gaming stereo speakers on here as well, which, when I did play pub G, are very good very loud even at the top-end stereo speakers are a must in a gaming type of phone they've got it in this one. So that's another box ticked.

So do you even need a 144 Hertz display honestly when you're scrolling, through, like social media and stuff, like that I think the difference between 290 Hertz and a 144 Hertz display, maybe is a bit less. But if you're going to go for a phone with a high refresh rate display I guess in the Android world, you may as well just get the highest refresh rates. There are definitely some cool options in this phone, though, like the monster mode in the settings which users of this phone are going to want, it basically turns up all the power settings of the processor, so it maxes it out. You'll get worse battery life with it, but you can choose everything. Also, a perfect thing with the screen, refresh rate is that you can choose all the options which, for some reason, other phones that give us so 144 120 1960 is all there.

You can choose it so if I just left out the camera in this phone because that's what they usually do in phones like this to reduce the price where you get a 48, megapixel main image sensor and that's the last year's image sensor, so definitely more audible for them to put in the phone. But it's not a terrible innocence. Overall, they get some good images out of it. The selfie camera actually looks pretty decent. It's pretty real to life.

I, don't think my skin tones have been lightened too much, maybe a little and some softening going on. But that's what you get in every Chinese phone actually think detail is pretty good and colors are actually perfect too there's a 48 megapixel mode. The normal photos are 12 megapixels video on here as well. It can go up to 4k video, but only on the main camera and the zoom lens, and that's not a zoom lens that will just be cropping into the main image sensor. If you want to shoot in 4k, if you want to shoot off the ultra camera, you have to switch it down to 1080p.

The ultra-wide doesn't have enough resolution to shoot in 4k. So that's that is something to note about the phone video as well. I think the colors are pretty good, but it doesn't seem to be much stabilization on here. Definitely, no optical image stabilization to help with video stabilization sets something to know with these sorts of phones. The cameras are ok serviceable, but definitely these aren't camera fuzzier at gaming phones and all the gaming stuff is definitely here playing pop G.

Definitely no issues the highest settings overall, all the high refresh rate settings the best flagship processor for Android. You have no issues with here, a good screen, stereo speakers. It is an LCD, but I think when you're playing games that sort of fades away and you just sort of get immersed in the game. This is the first one of 2020 that I know of the real cheap flagship phone, giving you the absolute top end: specs flagship, processor, loads of numbers, high refresh rates, higher megapixel cameras, but for a really low price as well. So definitely an interesting phone.

It's going to interest a lot of people I'm sure. Let me know what you think in the comments about the IQ Neo 3 subscribe for the latest tech news and videos. That's it for now. I've seen you in the next one.
