Hey guys so this will be a quick little camera test comparison between the iPhone 12 Pro and the Google Pixel 5. So I'm just out here, as you can see, this is the tesla. Now looking at the viewfinder now the pixel seems to be a little closer than the iPhone, but they're both at 1x setting all right. So I'm going to say it's about late afternoon now, slash early evening like the sun's going to set in about an hour, maybe a little less than that um so yeah, just let me know the quality, so I'm just out here. I literally just have both phones in my hands, now like tripod or anything. It's completely handheld.
So both phones. This is a 4k uh.30. Take a look at that. Let me know the dynamic range of the sky. How does that look? So I'm just walking around here.
This is the Costco. So again, just everything is literally handheld check out this ride, pretty cool, I'm kind of nervous, because I don't have a case on the iPhone 12 yet so I don't want to drop this phone now. Many of you might think that, since I do drop tests and videos like that on phones that, like you know, I kind of don't care about like the well-being of my devices, quite the opposite, actually, like I'm, actually very careful with my phones. You know, like my personal device, I rock a note 20 ultra, that's in a case. That's in that has a screen protector.
All of that so anyway, just gonna pan over. Let me know the quality. Now it's kind of dark back there. So let me head over to the light all right I walked over to where there was some sunlight. I'm going to go up here, see the moon right there.
There you go the hills over. There me know the quality I'm going to go over to where the sun is there you go. How does that look? Let me know in the comments, if I shouldn't be doing that, but there you have it all right. So what I'm going to do right now is- and I got to be very careful when doing this right- I'm going to walk really fast, see that fire hydrant right there, I'm not going to run I'm just going to walk really fast, because if I had a case on the iPhone I'd run, but I don't want to drop this one right now, so I'm just going to walk that fire hydrant really fast. Let me know which one is more stable, all right, just more for jog all right here we go! Let me get on here all right, so I'm going to test the autofocus on both focus right on this fire hydrant and then out.
So how does that look and then do the pixel? Now here we go and then out so let me know how fast that is all right move to a slightly different spot. So let me know how this looks: it's beautiful, sunny spot to set that's nice man, nothing else really out here, just me and the sun so do a little pan here. Let me know which footage looks better. Look at that. Its beautiful check out those homes all the way down there.
I'm going to go up to the sky a little. Let me know if the dynamic range, which one looks better beautiful, let's go all right. This is a little quick sample of night footage on the iPhone 12 and pixel 5 iPhone 12 Pro, I should say both phones are in 4k 60. Check out this like truck right here. SUV have a look at that.
Now: here's the Costco now on the viewfinder, the iPhone the exposure is, I can read the Costco on the iPhone screen, however, on the pixel is a little overexposed on that Costco logo. But let me know on YouTube. I don't know if that's indicative of what the actual footage is. Gonna look like on the computer, but there you have it, so I'm just walking around it's a little night footage here. I'm going to go up.
Take a look at the sky right now check out the moon all right. The pixel is kind of out of focus a little, so I'm going to go. Let me stand over here right. I'm going to stand over here. I'm going to go up check out the moon again yeah that pixel doesn't look like it's in focus for some reason, all right, and then I'm going to go up, see that star right there right in the middle of the display.
That is Mars, shout out to my martians cool man, all right. It's a little night footage! Let's go and there's the tesla very nice all right, I'm back in my car I'll! Do it for this camera test comparison. So let me know in the comments below which camera you thought looked better overall, the iPhone 12 Pro camera or the Google Pixel 5 camerae. Now, honestly, both cameras are pretty good. A lot of this stuff is just a matter of personal preference.
Some I prefer the processing of the iPhone others like what google does with their photos so either way. Let me know in the comments down below thanks for watching peace out.
