Hi, I'm shah, and this is tech moments. My focus for this video was to work out the mini iPhone's battery capabilities and the way I set out my extensive test was by charging the mini, iPhone 12 to a full charge and then record snippets for my use throughout one whole day. So, stick around till the end of this video to see what this tiny iPhone's real life battery performance is actually like. I also provide some camera usage samples throughout my real day battery test. By the way before I begin, it would really help if you could subscribe comment like and share this video. Thank you.
So it's 10 13 in the morning- and this is the beginning of my test- the battery charge is at 100, as you can see, and I'll be making sort of regular logs of the battery percentage, as I use the phone more and more by the way, just an idea of the demographics behind this test. So the screen brightness is on true tone, so that would adjust according to the environments I'm in throughout the day, and this is quite a natural test, so I'll be using the phone, as I wouldn't normally be, using my daily driver phone. So basically, right now, I'll, probably you know browse the web. A little watch a bit of YouTube. That's about it! Maybe I might do a bit of gaming, but other than that, I will be.
You know putting a lot of standby time into the phone as well so the battery test. This will basically be until I see that the phone's battery reaches a red alert level in the indicator over here, so guys it's 11 30 now and the battery percentage is 93 percent um. In that time I just sort of played some games. I browsed the web and did not actually do any sort of folder taking on video taking, but it has dropped by seven percent. The brightness level has actually been, I would say above the medium level throughout that time.
So, to be honest, it's not too bad so far, but let's see how the rest of the day goes. This is lily my kitten. This is actually the first piece of video I'm recording, because I just want to show something that really does there. It is where she wants her food, so this is on route to a park for my daily exercise using the time-lapse, feature on the iPhone 12 mini, and this will be followed by other camera features, so stick around for that. What's up guys, it's one o'clock, and I'm at 87.
During that time, I did a bit of video recording photo taking and now going to get my daily exercise in the park now, so I'll take a few snaps there, and we'll take it from there. So this is 4k at 60 frames per. Second, I'm just going to give you guys an update of what it's like to use this iPhone 12 mini on each camera mode. This is 4k at 24 frames per second and 4k at 30 frames per second. This is the HD at 30 frames per second.
This is the HD at 60 frames per second. Actually, it's quite surprising how detailed this one is. Obviously the 4k at 60 gives you better stabilization and more detail, but this is not bad at all, so this is 4k at 60 with HDR on. I just wanted to give you guys an idea of what this camera can do with HDR on now. Now this is with HDR off practically the same scene.
Let me know in the comments, if you guys see the difference of that added HDR. This is without it. Now, throughout my time, even in the park, I was doing a bit of gaming and just you know generally using the phone just to try and also push it as much as I could, because I do want to keep this test natural. However, I did also want to test the battery life on this iPhone.12 mini a bit more extensively. Therefore, I did try and push it so that you know you guys who have a longer sort of usage on this phone will get a better understanding.
So another quick update just past three o'clock, and we're on 79 and to be fair, I've just been doing a bit of gaming, but other than that I have been using it fairly heavily with uh photo taking videoing and stuff like that, but I'm quite impressed with the standby time considering the brightness level levels. So let me know in the comments what you guys. Think of that so approaching six o'clock.69 is the battery levels at the moment um. I think it's going really well at the moment. I have been trying to push this a bit more now so watching a few YouTube videos at 1080p and just browsing the web playing a few games here and there, and so, so far, I'm quite impressed.
To be honest, let me know in the comments what you guys think so far, so just an update towards the end of the day. I tend to usually use the phones for gaming purposes, and you know more intensive tasks such as this, so I'm just gonna, while I'm doing this, so I'll, give you guys an update on what the actual graphics are like using the phone uh for gaming, such as asphalt, 9 legends here very intense game, but a14 bionic on the iPhone 12 mini, allows you to do this comfortably. If I switch back out of the game, just an update on the battery percentage 42 at the moment and just past 9 o'clock, uh screen on time is basically uh approaching the four-hour 50-minute mark which at the moment um I mean I'm. I've got mixed thoughts at the moment.42 at this point it is it may not cut it for a whole day phone comfortably for intensive users. That's where I'm getting at the moment, but you guys, let me know what you guys think so far.
So. Finally, the iPhone 12 mini has reached quite a low level, 24 percent- it's just past 11, and we're a bit over the 12-hour mark since I started this test around 10 30 a. m. So that's the end of my battery test review. Let me know in the comments what you guys think I wanted to mention six hours and 47 minutes.
As you can see screen on time there most of it um YouTube, then you've got asphalt, 9, camera fruit cut, which is a game I like to play. Uh safari web browsing BPC, which is again power browsing, and then you know just here and there fiddling with the phone, but overall considering the size of this phone, and you know it is a 227 William hour battery at the end of the day, I'm quite impressed still so like I said that is um. Obviously my take on it. Let me know yours, so that was my video on the real day battery test on the iPhone 12 mini. Let me know in the comments what you guys thought of it, and also, let me know if you are picking up this phone so until the next tech moment I'll see you guys in that next, video.
