iPhone 12 Magsafe Duo Charger Review | Charging Speed Test | Great for Apple Watch and iPhone 12 |

Hey guys, what's going on, welcome back to the channel, my name is Karim, and today I'm going to review the MagSafe duo charger for all of you now. The very first thing that was, on my mind in terms of this charger was the fact that I wanted to see how quickly it's going to charge both an iPhone and the Apple Watch at the same time. So before I get into the design which I really love about this charger, I want to show you all how fast it actually charges so to test out this charger. I took a 12 pro max, which has the biggest battery of the iPhone 12 lineup and an Apple Watch, so both of them were totally dead. They had been dead for two days before I put them on the charger and I kept checking it every 30 minutes just to see the progress of how it charges up at 10 pm. When I came back to check on both the devices the Apple Watch had charged up to 28 and the iPhone 12 Pro max was at 24.

I came back once again at 10 30 p. m. By this point, they had both been on the charger for a full hour. The Apple Watch was at 50 and the iPhone 12 Pro max was at 47. So I left both the devices just kind of sit there on the charger, and periodically I just kept coming back and at around the two-hour mark, both were almost at full battery.

The Apple Watch had charged up to 93 percent and the iPhone 12 Pro max was at ninety percent. So I'd say that you know two hours and 15 minutes two hours, 20 minutes and both a dead Apple Watch and an iPhone 12 Pro max will be fully charged up. Now I repeated this test with a 12 mini and an Apple Watch both again were also dead, had been for about two days and again, I just kept checking again and again to see how they would slowly charge up over the course of time and when I came back 30 minutes into them, charging the mini had already reached 39 and the Apple Watch was at 19. I came back again 30 minutes later and by now both of them had been on the charger for an hour and the mini was at 68 and the Apple Watch was at 51, and again I kept checking on them and again two hours into it, and you're, almost at full charge and two hours 15 to 20 minutes, and you'll be completely charged if you put both a 12 mini and an Apple Watch on the charger. Now, since I tested the biggest battery in the 12 pro max and the tiniest one in the 12 mini, I think it's safe to say that any phone and watch that you put on here if they're, both dead two to two and a half hours, and you will be good to go.

I honestly don't think. That's really that bad, because I mean I thought it would take longer, since both devices are charging, and again I'm using that 20 watt brick. So I'm not using any powerful charger like the one with the MacBook Pro. So hopefully, these tests should give you a good idea as to how long it's going to take to get one of your iPhone 12s and an Apple Watch charged up quickly. So now that we've got the charging test out of the way I want to talk about the design of this product see initially, I thought that this was going to be a soft material except for the magnets.

This is not it's very solid, and it's coated with the silicone which feels really nice to touch in the hand. It's got a really smooth feeling, and you know from the design point of view. I really love this. I love how it just folds away, and you can easily take it with you anywhere you'd like to go. Furthermore, I've got a MacBook sleeve that I take with me whenever I'm taking my MacBook anywhere, and that has a zip pocket.

So I can just throw this in here. If I'm traveling somewhere, then I can open it up and plug it in and charge my phone and my watch. Another thing I appreciate about the design is the fact that the watch charger actually flips up. So that it stands vertically the reason I love this is because I have a single loop band. So for me, you know trying to put the watch on here.

Flat would mean that I have to take it off, so I can't just undo the strap, like other bands can. So this is really convenient for me. I can just throw my watch on here, and it just charges up now. One downside to this is that you, you can't use this like the original MagSafe charger. So if you're trying to use your phone and charge it at the same time, the MagSafe charger is really convenient for that.

So, if you're somebody that's, you know, going to be using your phone and wanting to charge it at the same time, then you should probably just stick with the original MagSafe and the original charger for your Apple Watch now see. For me, this actually works simply because when I go to charge my phone and watch at nighttime, I don't need to be using them. I'm always going to sleep, and I just need to drop the phone watch on the charger, and I'm good to go. So for me, this kind of works out because behind my side table on my bedside, I've only got two outlets and I don't want to make a clutter of wires by adding a power strip or multiple outlets. So you know I have one outlet for my Philips Hue table lamp and the other outlet I have for this.

So that way I can charge my phone watch and have my lamp at the bedside. So for me personally, this works out so now on. To that final question, would I recommend this charger? I really would if you've got an Apple Watch and an iPhone 12, and you're okay with just charging them at the same time, just at nighttime dropping them on the charger and not using the phone. Then you'll be more than good and, to my surprise, you know just two hours to pretty much charge up your phone and watch at the same time. That's really not that bad! I don't think, there's really more.

You could ask of a charger, but again do keep in mind that if you are somebody who uses your phone and charges with the MagSafe charger, then this is really not gonna work out for you. But if you are somebody that wants to have one less charger, then this is a great option, because on your side table it's going to be able to charge both your devices perfectly fine and then just fold it throw it in a backpack or your MacBook sleeve, like I do and take it with you wherever you go and that way you'll be able to always charge your phone and Apple Watch wherever you are, I can't tell you guys how many times I've actually forgotten my Apple Watch charger. While I go on a vacation, and then I'm just stuck with well, my watch not working, so this is definitely handy just fold it up. Take it with you, and you're good to go with. That said guys, I hope you enjoyed my insight, and I hope you found this review helpful if you did be sure to give it a thumbs up, comment down below with anything that you'd like to say and make sure you subscribe to the channel for more videos, take care of yourselves, and I will see you all in the next video.
