iPad 9.7 Apple Pencil - Apple March Event Recap By Apple Fox

What's up everybody: this is the Apple facts channel here and today in this video I want to talk about the Apple March event that has just happened and everything you need to know about it. So everybody was just curious about the new iPad wow. It has to happen. Well, it just called 2018 I bet there isn't anything special about it and also just like we expected this event was only dedicated for the people in school and for the school system. So, of course, this iPad is dedicated for that place as Wow. But let me answer some questions.

You might have something that many people may not have it clear with the new iPad is like many people are asking if the schools will get it for free, of course not, but the schools will get a significant discount when buying these devices for the classrooms and for the children in school. It has been confirmed during the event that the schools across the UK and the United States will get, of course, the big discount. The next question people may have at this point of time, especially those people that are not really interested in this Apple event, and all of that is like what's the price of this, because everybody keeps talking about the budget iPad. But what is really the price of this or in America you're gonna, get it for three hundred and twenty-nine dollars. It is the base model, and it is of course, in the lower storage, which is 32, gigabytes, you're, not able to get it in 16 gigabytes and the other option is 128 gigabytes, and also you can get the Wi-Fi model and the more expensive one, which is the Wi-Fi + cellular model, and also you can get it in three colors, so silver, space, gray and gold, just like usually with this type of Apple products.

Many people may have the question about the iPhone 8 in the gold color, which was supposed to be released at the event. But it didn't happen, so don't be just really excited about it right now. Of course, it may happen that all of a sudden we're going to be seeing the update of Apple's website with a gold iPhone 10, but right now it's not happening now. What are the specs of this device? Well I was really disappointed with the tag that the rear facing camera on the back is just eight megapixels, which nowadays is pretty low. To be honest, even though I get it that this is the budget model, and they have to remove some expensive stuff from it in order to make it budget, but you know, 8 megapixels is not much also.

Now many people may take photos with this, because it's kind of weird just the iPad and start taking photos or making videos on this thing, but it's pretty decent. But of course, if this iPad is dedicated for school and most of the time, you're just scanning some documents which, as you can see, you can do right here and a megapixel camera can be enough for this and in the front you also have the front-facing selfie camera. Does it come with the Apple Pencil? Well, no at least not out of the box. You need to buy it for additional 100 bucks. In case you are in the United States, it will be 99 dollars, so it's kind of pricey, while considering the fact that it is dedicated for students, but still it's an Apple product.

So you cannot really expect it to be really cheap. How big is the actual screen of this iPad? Well, it is bigger than this one right here right now: I'm holding the iPad Mini 4 generation, which I'm completely satisfied with, but the 2018 iPad the brand new one is a lot bigger with the screen size of 9.7 inches. Of course, it supports the latest features of the iPads, like the dog, multitasking, the gestures and all the stuff that you may be interested in, and it's its just a normal I pad that was meant to be a little cheaper than the other ones inside the iPad. We have Appalachian fusion chip with 64-bit architecture, which is definitely enough for this type of iPad. One thing that has also made me kind of disappointed is the lack of touch ID, 2nd generation on the iPad.

Even though you have the touch ID, it's only the slow first generation, which I think they would definitely need to actually upgrade the second generation, even though it is a little more expensive, but I think they could have done that. Does it have a headphone jack? Of course, it has. It is not the latest iPhone. So, as you can see, three-and-a-half millimeter headphone jack is also part of the 2018 iPad. Did we see a new air power, the charging mad or anything else? Besides, the iPad like, for example, the iPhone SE 2 or other things that have also been ruined.

Of course, not it was only for people in school, just like I always keep repeating it's just about the iPad 2018, and that is dedicated for school system and nothing else about it like, of course, we expected that, but we also expected something else, even though they didn't have to mention it. At the event, when Tim Cook came on the stage, they could have just updated website with new Apple products, and we would definitely be satisfied with that yeah. This was probably everything what I wanted to say in this video. It's pretty much everything what we have seen at the event.
