HORRIBLE News About the Pixel 4a By Tech Audit TV

All right, it's going to be one of those episodes: okay, Google Pixel, for a here's what's happening. This was originally supposed to be announced at the Google I/o conference in May. Then coronavirus happened, so they canceled the event. Then the speculation was that they might even announce it sooner and just announced it online that didn't happen. Then it was rumored that it will be announced online in May. That didn't happen here.

It is its June and not only no pixel for a, but the latest rumors are suggesting the phone won't even be announced until July. This particular rumor comes from John Prosper front page tech who has been killing it lately with the phone League. So I do put a lot of credibility on this. This rumor / leaked on May 21st, John, tweeted that the holdup wasn't due to supply chains, but rather due to quote-unquote market conditions, he even threw out an exact announcement day of July 13th, but here's where it starts to get weird for me in the same tweet he says that the units are ready to ship. Yet, even though the phone will be announced in July, it's not going to ship until August at the soonest, with the barely blue model, supposedly not coming until October.

In a later tweet John sticks to the July 13th announcement date, but says the system that he has access to. Has the shipping date listed as October 22nd three months after the initial announcement. On top of that, the barely blue model seems to have been removed entirely, and I've seen this mentioned from other journalists as well. This still just doesn't make sense, because if the delay is due to market conditions- and you have units ready to go, why wait three months to ship the phone and then what happened? All that barely blew phones, but they just like take them to the ocean? Dump them in or did the phone's never exist in the first place, I'll tell you who this is great news for its great news for Apple, because they're going to have a full summer with virtually no competition for the new iPhone at this is terrible news for those who have been holding off for the pixel for a and I know. Several people have been holding off for this phone, and it's also bad news for those who might be waiting for the more premium pixel five phones later this year, because the suggestion is that, because the for an is going to be delay, that's also going to mean a delay for the pixel five as well.

So at this point, do they just skip the name for a and just launch the set launch, the phone side-by-side with a much more premium, pixel 5, so you've got the pixel 5 and the pixel 5 a? Is that what they do? I don't know: I, don't know! This is frustrating if you're a loyal follower of the channel. You know that the pixel converted me from the iPhone and I still think the iPhones, a great lineup I love the pixel phone line, I, just don't I, don't want to jump over to Samsung because for the most part, I think Samsung has an inferior OS compared to the stock Android that you get on Google, pixel phones and I. Also don't want to go back to a restrictive iOS, but I tell you. Man, Google has been doing a stand-up job at just sucking lately when it comes to this lineup dear Google, are you all-in on this phone line, or are you going to half-ass it the rest of the way? Because if this is the way you're going to be going, do us a favor and just get out of the phone game get out of the hardware game? You know you make a good operating system keep focusing on that. Obviously push that on other devices, but if you're, not all in on this, just spare my emotions, the pain and just get out of the hardware game.
