Voicemail: Set up voicemail. This video will show you how to use your built-in Visual Voicemail app to view and listen to your voicemail messages. Alternatively, you can dial into your voicemail by pressing and holding the 1 key from the dial pad. To set up visual voicemail, from the home screen, tap the Phone icon. Tap the Visual Voicemail icon. Tap "ACTIVATE VISUAL VOICEMAIL".
If you are a new customer and have not established a voicemail box, you will be prompted to set up your voicemail and choose a password and greeting. Access and check voicemail. To access and check your voicemail, from the home screen, tap the Phone icon. Tap the Visual Voicemail icon. Alternatively, you can dial into your voicemail by pressing and holding the 1 key from the dial pad.
Tap the desired message to listen to voicemail. Tap the Play icon. Tap the Pause icon to pause. To play it again, tap the Play icon. To delete the message, tap "Delete".
Tap "DELETE" to confirm. To access visual voicemail settings, from the Visual Voicemail screen, tap the More icon. Tap "Settings". Adjust settings as desired. Change voicemail password.
To change your voicemail password, from the home screen, tap the Phone icon. Tap the Visual Voicemail icon. Tap the More icon. Tap "Settings". Tap "Change Password".
Enter the desired password, enter the password again, then tap "CONTINUE". Alternatively, from the dial pad, press and hold the 1 key to access the voicemail system. Enter your existing password, and then tap "4". Tap "2". Tap "1".
Tap "1" again to change your password. Enter your new desired password, then tap the Pound (#) key. If you have forgotten your existing voicemail password, you will not be able to access voicemail until you reset your voicemail password. To reset your voicemail password, go to att. com/resetvm.
