Now go ahead and do a little of a speed test between these two phones. The Google Pixel 5 has that Qualcomm snapdragon 765 g chipset, an arena 620 GPU and eight gigs of ram on the only model. That's supported with Samsung Galaxy s10, on the other hand, has a Qualcomm snapdragon, 855 chipsets, an outscore CPU and arena 640 GPU and eight pegs of ram on both models that are supported. So let's go and see which one is the faster one between both of these okay. Let me go and clear all the apps in the background, which should only take like two seconds on the pixel devices, though I guess I have to swipe out of every single one which is weird you know on the Galaxy S10 we didn't have to do that. So I guess we have to do it here.
Okay, all apps are clear. Let's start loading them up. Let's do the phone calls three two one about the same there scrolling out, you can see they are about the same as well and a big difference messages. I think the pixel 5 was a little slower than the Galaxy S10 actually play store, 321, and I think the Galaxy S10 a little faster than the pixel 5 right there scrolling through you can see that about the same, not a ginormous difference. The Galaxy S10, I think, was speeding by those games or those apps, and I guess the pixel 5 is pretty good too.
Now we have a bunch of these third-party apps as expected. Let's start loading them up. Let's do twitter three two one and the Galaxy S10 is a faster one. There snake versus blocks three two one, the pixel 5, I think, was just slightly faster there, but very, very close, indeed gameplay wise they're going to be about the same as well. I don't think there's going to be a ginormous difference, but definitely right there.
The pixel 5 was a little faster, Snapchat 321. I think the Galaxy S10 was faster there too BFA three, two one and the Galaxy S10 again is the faster one, followed by the pixel five. Shortly after there again Quizlet three two one Samsung Galaxy s10 again is the faster one. We do. Thank you three, two one and again the Galaxy S10 is the faster one, I'm already kind of seeing a trend where the Galaxy S10 may actually be slightly faster than the pixel 5.
Gameplay wise. They look about the same too. So not a ginormous difference there. You do paper, Io, 2, 3, 2 1. Now this is a very interesting game, because on a lot of the apps that I've tested on all my devices, this game usually glitches up the most, and even when I clicked on the thing.
At the same time, the Galaxy S10 was a little faster. So I just ended the game myself there, and I don't know if one is necessarily the winner. They both look kind of the same. It's really hard to play both these games. They both look kind of the same.
If I'm being honest, I don't think one was inherently way faster than the other one. We can go and end it off with the real racing. Three two one. So, let's go and see which one is the faster one, but I can probably already tell you the pixel 5 animation wise, I think, are smoother, but I think the Galaxy S10 may actually be the faster device in this case, I'm probably wrong. As you can see, the pixel 5 was the faster one.
The Galaxy S10 a little behind it, but even then it wasn't a crazy big difference. They both were actually very, very close to one another, which is something I'm actually really surprised about, and even loading up these other apps you'll be able to see that basically, they load up around the same time. You know I don't really think there's a crazy big difference in terms of like this kind of basic apps, but I'm actually really surprised about the speed of the Galaxy S10. Still you know it's not even that newer phone. You know it came out over a year ago, and I think it's really impressive.
What Samsung was able to do with this device, but I also think the pixel device is really fast too. I mean this phone was the flagship of last year and this one isn't necessarily the flagship, it's kind of like a budget phone, but if you think about it back in the day the pixel lineup was a pretty. You know expensive phone lineup and now the only model that you know google has made is the pixel 5, no XL version. So I think when it comes down to the performance, the Samsung Galaxy s10 is maybe the faster one, but there were times when the Google Pixel 5 was also an extremely fast performing device too. So I don't think one is way faster than the other one, but the pixel 5 may be the one there.
So in terms of performance that pretty much covers it up.
