Do these 7 things when you get your Galaxy Z Flip 5G By Tech OG

Hey everyone Tokyo g here representing those who are 14 up with leather tech, and for those of you who um bought the Galaxy Z, flip um. I have a list of the top seven things you should do when you get your z flip now. Some of these you may have heard from um other videos out there on the top 10 things, the top 20 things or secret things that are on the z flip that you may not know about, but these are seven things that I've done on my phone that have made usage much better for myself, okay, the first thing that I've done is on my turn, on developer options on my phone. Now, how do you access available options? You have to go to settings. I already have it activated, so what you have to do for yourself? If you don't already have it activated, go to about phone, go to software information tap on build number certain amount of times, probably about seven times seven. Eight times, you're going to see a number that says five times until available options.

If you have an uh passcode into that after you tap that build number about seven eight times, um put that in and then when you put it in so say that developer options is now available. So with developer options, you have a lot of different things that you can um select on your phone, for example. This is one of my favorite stay. Awake screen will never sleep while charging, so you charge this up. Sometimes the phone your screen goes off, but um.

If it's charging um your battery won't deplete. Of course, so your phone will stay away. That way, so there's a lot of different options that you can put in your USB debugging. I open that up or turn that on verify apps, that's usually on, so there's a lot of different things. Um default USB configuration and this kind of cool too.

So I like to transfer files from my computer to my phone. So I select this one so that I'm able to do that when I plug in my phone, you can also USB tether this mini, oh and by the way this is an unlocked phone. So this is not branded by T-Mobile 18c or anything like that. I'm using T-Mobile, but I always buy unlock because there are more things you can do with an unlocked phone than just using it with below as a T-Mobile phone I'll show you more about that later. Transferring images uh charging phone only.

So that's pretty cool that you have those options there um the best options are right here: window animation, scale, transition, animation, scale and animator duration scale. What this means is for the animations on your phone. You can increase the animation time or decrease the animation time or just turn them all off all completely to make your phone seem like it's faster. I have all of mine at 0.5 they're at 1x by default, so you can make it really, really slow. Looking at they are slow by a 10x, but I got mine at all 0.5 so that it can seem like it's like 120 hertz. So that's pretty cool number two.

The next thing you want to do get yourself a launcher. Now take a look at my phone. I am using one of my favorite launchers, nova launcher um. I can have my screen uh crisp and clean no caffeine for those of you OG. You know what where that commercial is from that quarters from a commercial but anyway, all my main icons down here.

I got one folder that has all of my folders inside that folder kind of like folded in folders that tweak on an iPhone. So I got all of my different categories, all the one folder, so they're, all organized so my main stuff photo stuff media productivity. Of course, look at a bunch of games. My emulators um shopping lots of stuff like that everything is right there and, if I wanted to, I could put some more essential, apps right here, which I'm going to do a little later, but I got everything all accessible right there on one row: seven icons on the dock, six of the most important ones that I use and then the one in the middle for all the apps that I have so like. I said, with a launcher you're able to make these changes to the interface of the phone to make it work.

The way that you want to, so I can use two fingers and I can go to the um drawer like that and with the notification bar you usually have to pull from on top. I can pull from anywhere. How cool is that? So that's nova launcher, like I said, get yourself a launcher. Nova launcher is the one that I used to go for number three uh. When you want to set up dark mode because dark mode I mean it just makes the phone just look so much better.

I mean I don't know if it really saves a lot of battery power, but I just like that remote. So with dart mode, you just go to settings, go to display and then choose dark for your dark mode, and you also have settings for dark mode turn on the schedule, so you can turn it off during the day. Time turn around at nighttime uh or turn it on in a day so that you can save battery applied wallpaper things like that, so pretty cool. So that's dark mode number! Four! I mean this is an option but um. I particularly like this particular option: um set up the gestured navigation bar in order to do that, you have to go to display scroll all the way down to navigation bar, and you can use the regular navigation bar and if you do, it takes a real estate from the bottom of your screen.

Furthermore, I don't like that. Furthermore, I like to use full screen gestures for full screen gestures. Furthermore, I have a back button here. Recent application, all my recent applications here are open applications and the home button in the middle and all you have to do to activate all that is a slide from those three indicated points so for back it's over here for the free snaps right here for the home button right there. There you go so with that.

Just remember where what functions are on the bottom, for your um chest, navigation bar, and you'll have a lot more real estate to use on your phone. So, like I said, that's an option, but I just personally like using on gesture navigation, bars number five, the next one. This is also optional. Um. Now, like I said for this phone, you would have that small display on the front that can tell you time things like that, but if you need to check your phone, but without taking it out your pocket or taking it off your holster, and you still need to check it, get yourself a watch.

So, as you can see here, I have the galaxy s3 frontier watch. That watch is still good. It still works with newer phones. So definitely get yourself. One of these watches, they're pretty cheap, still looks.

Nice still looks uh glamorous. As you can see, I got the omega looking watch face right here. The double 07 look so looks great with the rotating bezel and everything. So it's all good, and it's been updated. So I'm good with updates.

It works great with the phone and, like I said, I can check my um notifications, things like that right from the wrist, as opposed to checking from sometimes a small display or if I don't have time to do it, if I'm at a meeting and just need to check it real quick, like I said you just check it with your watch. So definitely I mean I'm not trying to tell you to stray away from the galaxy watch three. It's just that for me personally, paying over three hundred dollars for a brand-new watch. It doesn't make a lot of sense when already otherwise that works great with my phone, so get yourself a s3 front here, oh by the way, not just any s34j get the LTE one, because I have a several phone number just for this watch. So that's even cooler with this watch being achieved as it is, and with having LTE capability, you can make phone calls for the watch as well number six and this one's pretty cool.

Now, because this phone does not have expandable storage- and I don't know why Samsung didn't include that they should have included that I don't want to hear any excuses about well, it flips, it didn't have enough room. No, you can make room for a SD card, because it's on the tray, you should have done that, especially for the price of this phone. You should have had expandable memory in this phone for people to put on as many apps or record videos take pictures or port music or whatever they want to do on. Their phones should have included that, but because you didn't know, I got to carry this so with this. This right here is a micro SD card slot that has an USB c port, where you can put in your phone and have expandable storage.

This way. Yes, it sticks out. Yes, it looks likely. Yes, you can accidentally break it, but being careful, I got myself an extra 400 gigabytes space, so I'm all good with that. So, like I said, definitely get yourself one of these expandable memory slots for your phone, so that you can put more stuff on your phone whenever you need it and number seven.

The last thing- and this is something I've already um talked about in a previous video- get yourself a case, because this phone is very expensive, and you want to make sure that you protect it as much as you can so get yourself a case get the case that you want the case that you like and there's a large array of cases on Amazon, eBay, SD wherever you want to go, or you can even get a 3d printer case me personally. I like this case right here with the holster and then with my pop socket wallet. It's a transformer case. Look at this! Don't laugh at me. Don't laugh at me.

Maybe I should put the wallet on first yep. There you go there you go. I got my case get yours too, so with mine on my head. I'm not gonna worry about this falling off of my hip on the ground and breaking, and I'm crying like a baby. Anyway, those are the seven things that I've done with my phone, and I'm much, much happier with this I mean my note: 9 had it for a while, and it's time to get rid of it.

Uh, I'm just really, really happy. With this z, flip um, the z4 is going to be coming out soon. I've thought about getting that phone, but for the price tag, that's on it and how big it is. I'm like nope, I'm happy with the z flip, so there you have it. Those are my second things that I've done on my phone.
