Coolpad Cool Play 6 India Hands-on Review with camera samples

What's happening Isaac sent up from fawn Bunch, and this is the new cool dad cooled, la six packing six gigs of ram snapdragon 6 y 3 and android 7.1.1 NGA. On top of that now, yes, in terms of design, this one is quite reminiscent of the cool. One duel in fact shares quite a lot with that phone. Now inside the box, you'll get a charger, it's a 2, amp USB wall charger. Presumably this is the one you'll get within the box as well. You have a USB, type-c, cable and a sim ejector pin along with a screen guard as well.

Now, let's talk about build on the right of the phone. You have the volume rocker and the power button. Both are very sturdy, and they do offer good feedback. This is not necessarily a very thin device. It does seem a bit bulky because we have a massive four thousand William hour battery inside now at the bottom, you'll find the speaker USB type-c port on the left.

You have the SIM tray. Now this is a dual-sim smartphone. However, you cannot expand storage. You do get 64 gigs of internal storage, though, and thankfully, at the top, you also have a 3.5 mm headphone jack that hasn't been removed. Moving to the back, you get dual 13 megapixel cameras with an RGB sensor and a monochrome sensor again similar to the cool one dual.

You also have a fingerprint sensor which does work out quite first, you can see that the camera does protrude a little. That's not flush with the surface, so it might get scratched. Now the fingerprint sensor does work quite fast. As I've already told you, it works every single time getting to the front of the phone. You can see those black bezels.

That is the first thing you will notice. The display here is quite sharp. It's a 5.5 inch 1080p IPS panel. The viewing angles are quite wide the color reproduction themes go to, but you cannot ignore those medals, its 2017 now, as with most phones in the sub 20k segment, it's all about the cameras. You get dual three megapixel cameras here now.

The second camera can be used to capture monochrome shots and black and white. It can be used as a depth sensor as well, which I'm using right now, so you can open up their picture, or you can reduce it. So what software you get this artificial book effect which you have seen on the 1 plus 5, the previous cool one, on a 6x and many other phones. You also get a dedicated Pro Mode, which is quite robust, there's a lot of features there and, moreover, you also get 4k. Video recording the front-facing camera also did seem pretty decent.

Now here are some of the camera samples that I kept. Now here's all the camera samples are captured with this phone. These do look quite alright. There was plenty of light in low-light years. The camera does struggle quite a bit.

I'll have more to say about the camera in a full review. Now, let's talk about software, the cool one ran on Legos II WA, which was truly atrocious. It was bloated. It wasn't easy to use. This is the new journey UI it's built on top of Android 7.1.1 with a July security patch, so it is the latest Android version that is available right now. Moreover, things have been made simpler.

You have your quick toggles right up top. You can get into settings there easily. There is no weird menu for EU, and even the recent app straight has been made very easy to use. You get about 50, odd, gigs of storage on the phone when you get the device and four gigs of ram for free while I was using it. So that's again, pretty good, not much bloat there and in terms of performance again, I didn't notice any lag on this device.

I have been using this phone for about a day now, apps do open up quickly, I didn't notice any major lag throughout the interface. In fact, the camera also worked out quite well. That's what I was thinking that the phone may actually lag. You have multi window support big then as well, so there's plenty going for it. Now again, most phones in this segment do perform quite well.

Now, I made this video before the price was actually announced. I expect it to be price at the Squadron, be 15,000 and, let's see where it gets at I'll. Have that information in the description of the video? Well folks, that's it for this video, the cool one dual does seem like a decent option in this price segment, but those values are now so 2016 and everything really hinges on those cameras. I'll have more on this phone. Do stay tuned thanks for watching and, as always have a great day.
