It is to no surprise on september 2021 this year, we're going to go ahead and see the next generation Apple Watch. Of course, that is very obvious. That is apple's tradition. Just like iPhones every year, there's a new generation of the series Apple Watch and this year we are expecting to see the series seven and so in today's video we're going to go ahead and do a quick rundown on all the leaks and all the rumored features. The series seven is going to pack. So to no surprise.
Just like again in the past, the starting price for the series 7 is very likely just going to be 399 for the smaller screen option. It is still left unknown. What green option will be left with because rumor has it this year we're going to go ahead and see a fully newly redesigned Apple Watch with a similar bezel design, just like the latest generation iPads and, of course, the latest generation iPhones, the iPhone 12 12 pro 12 mini. You know that square blocky design that takes inspiration, design off like the classic iPhone 4 and the iPhone 5 body structure. The pros were going with the design.
This not only will give the device a unique look, but will also possibly make the display a lot larger, slimming down the vessels and also allowing new hardware to be inside, one of which was something a patent that was recently padded by apple, and that was this new unlock ability. That apple is currently working on now, keep in mind, this is a patent. Many manufacturers always patent certain designs and ideas for their future products. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn't sometimes these patents just get thrown in the trash and forgotten, but this patent is clear.
That apple is trying to improve the unlock feature. Instead of needing to hammer down the pin code on your Apple Watch, a very recent leak that was tossed all over the internet was touch ID coming to the Apple Watch. This is very possible, and especially since we're having a new body redesign, this gives us a lot more room for that hardware to fit nicely like what originally some leaks leakers were talking about. Is that it's possible that touch ID can be placed where the power button, or possibly the digital crown by rotating your finger, like it reads it while you're rotating? These two are amazing ideas, other ideas how apple could implement touch ID on the app watches, of course, by using that biometric scan on the display itself. This was another thing that was tossed around all over the internet, but this pattern is fascinating because it is said that it's going to have a downward facing camera pointing down on your wrist.
So when you place your Apple Watch on very similar to like a thumbprint, it's going to unlock by the skin texture of your skin, or something like that fascinating. But I could definitely see this being possible, especially when you consider the other hardware that apple watches have like the heart rate, monitoring, sensors ECG and the glucose monitoring, which we're going to go ahead and discuss a bit more in this video. So yes, of course, we are going to be given two new site switches to choose from with this new Apple Watch redesign a much smaller choice, option for those with smaller wrists and a much larger option for those that just want to go all out and get the largest size option available, or they just have a much larger wrist. But with this new redesign, it is also rumored that we're going to go ahead and see a new enhanced display on the Apple Watch, which is fantastic because, let's be real, the Apple Watch compared to other smartwatches available in the market. The Apple Watch, hands down has the best looking display available and seeing that it's possible that it could enhance the resolution on display.
Even more is mind-blowing, and I'm definitely looking forward to that, because the Apple Watch is indeed using an OLED display, not an LCD, a legit OLED. So with this enhanced display. This also could allow the Apple Watch to be more energy efficient, as not only would it have the next generation processor from the chipset, the s7, the s7. Unlike the series six was it s6 ship? We should definitely see an improvement in performance this year, in both loading time, multitasking and, of course, battery life. Improvement apple has been proud, with their 18-hour battery life that every generation Apple Watch has been able to achieve.
Hopefully with the s7, we should be able to see a legit all-day 24-hour battery life and then just like the series, six very likely the series, seven we're going to go ahead and see an even more enhanced quick charging abilities. That's right in case you weren't aware the series six received a feature: that's only exclusive to the series, six where it could charge significantly faster compared to the SE and the series 5 and older apple watches. So glucose monitoring will be possibly the standout feature of the series 7. It will definitely benefit multiple users, especially those that actually have diabetes, as you can check all your levels, all that information right there on your wrist and knowing apple, the Apple Watch itself should be able to push out push notifications in case your sugar levels are dangerously low or dangerously high and with the Apple Watch, monitoring all this. Of course, all this safe data is going to be placed and stored in the fit app or health app for you just like how it is currently with the series 6, where it will automatically monitor your blood oxygen levels throughout the days, and you can look back and see all that information right there, as your app watch will automatically log in all that same data and store it on your iPhone.
So you can go back and review it so yeah. This is one of the key features. The things that I like the most about the Apple Watch is that they are apple, is always focused on your overall health and helping this user to be more informed about their body instead of having to manually log into everything the Apple Watch. Just does everything automatically for you another additional feature that was rumored to be released on the series 6. , it's very likely we're going to go ahead and finally see this on the series.
Seven is the panic attack monitoring prevention? This is great to prevent any panic attacks from happening. I know this is a common complication. Some people, users would typically experience good to know that the Apple Watch based off your blood oxygen level, your heart rate, activity level. It's able to analyze all that and give you a notification to start breathing or just show whatever apple is planning to do for the Apple Watch to prevent that from happening. So if it detects levels and going extremely high in a short manner of time, it will send a push notification, giving you a heads-up that hey take a break chillax very similar to like possibly the breeze reminder, and then, of course, with this new redesigned body, we should see new exclusive watch faces not sure if it's going to be 100 exclusive to the series, seven as a series.
Six another apple watches that have the both the 44 and the 40 millimeter Apple Watch watch face. These displays are large enough that they should technically fit on even the older generation Apple Watch. But without a doubt we should be expecting to see new watch faces, get added for the series. Seven, especially when you take in consideration that the new Disney ownership was fox. Maybe we'll finally see like marvel watch faces and such get added for the Apple Watch or like sport teams like NFL and such and then lastly, materials.
Of course, every single year apple always release a new material on their Apple Watch. Well, not always, but they always surprise us with new materials like the titanium one, that one was fascinating for the series 5. , hopefully we'll see a new ceramic option as well, but new colors. I hope, especially now with the iPhone 12 Pro the new stainless steel, pacific, blue color. It will be definitely awesome to see this color get added, become an option for the new series seven, but at the time again, this video based from leaks and reports, new materials, is still with left unknown.
But it's very likely we'll go ahead and see the standard aluminum sport option, whether you guys have it. That is a quick recap of everything that we know so far about the upcoming series.7 Apple Watch, if you're on the fritz, if you're trying to debate, if you get an Apple Watch or if you already own an Apple Watch, and you're just debating. If you should go, get the current one, that's available right now in the market, since we're only a couple of months away. Unless you find an incredible deal, I would just personally recommend just wait a couple of months, especially if you already own an Apple Watch. That's on the latest version of watch out, seven you're perfectly fine, but then again it's your call.
But if you're looking for a review between the latest generation Apple Watch, I go ahead and compare them both right here in this video and then that video way over there. That is just a video that YouTube is recommending specifically for you, thanks. So much for watching, take care, and I'll catch you all in the next one see ya.
