Apple iPhone XS Max vs Huawei P30 Pro: Ultimate Camera Comparison!

How's it going guys babble here from GM Tech and welcome to the camera comparison between the Huawei P 30 probes and the Apple iPhone 10 s. Maxed recording this from the front-facing cameras on both the smartphones at 1080p resolution. Now I'm gonna quickly get up and give you guys an overall perspective of how both of these phones manage to capture. Not only video footage, growth of audio when I'm recording this and whether these would be suitable cameras for vlogging or not. But with that being said now, I'm going to move into primary camera specifications followed by some photo and video samples from the primary camera smartphones. So the Huawei P30 Pro comes with a like a quad camera setup and a unique super spectrum are by sensor, whereas the Apple iPhone Menace max sticks to its dual camera setup, which we've all become used to, starting with this first sample.

It seems like the Huawei p30 pros image struggles, a bit to focus on the flower, which might be due to pre-release software over the iPhones, more vibrant one. Although the iPhones image is the brighter looking, the P30 Pro gets the colors more accurate. The lack of focus or softness may also just be a one-off thing. As with a turned on the Huawei P 30 Pro captures a much better image with AI enhanced colors without any over-the-top edits here, I also put into use the Huawei P 30 pros wide angle lens with super macro AI capabilities, which shows how much closer it can get to the subject without losing detail with the iPhone not supporting this kind of lens, or this effect it's not possible to do from that phone. Moving to this image of the go-carts in the park, I think I'd prefer the deep blacks from the Huawei P30 Pro.

The iPhone is able to maintain the Sun in the background better, but the overall sharpness of the picture is better from the P30 Pro I also enabled AI here to test the camera sensor, and surprisingly, it managed to detect as a car and made the necessary adjustments, although I prefer the look without the AI edits. Now, this picture gives you a better idea about the sensors. The day was an overcast one when I took this photo and I think the effect is better captured on the Huawei p3 Pro compared to the iPhone, where I think the blue sky is a bit artificial, there's also more detail in the foreground of the P30 Pro image better. Yet you can use the wide-angle lens in this case to capture more detail with very minimal distortion and loss of detail, let's jump over to a photo of to do by frame now. This is what you get from both the phones, where I think the P30 Pro gets it right again.

The iPhone sample is artificially brightened up, just like how the Huawei P 30 pros is when AI is turned on, which I think is not suited for this case. We'll use this scene to zoom in two times when detail is better on the iPhone Menace max camera. With an eye on the P 30 Pro, you see an additional pop of color and some more detail, but besides that, the iPhone is better, but it is a 10 times zoom, where we start to see the P30 Pro's prowess capturing more detail over the iPhone 10s max at the same zoom level. At this zoom, the AI makes the image even sharper and very impressive, but you can even take the zoom up to 50 times and the result is astonishing. Keep in mind.

This is five times more zoom than what the iPhone can do on to some portrait images. Here we see the true capabilities of Huawei's depth sensor even for such a complex foreground. The background blur is excellent. That has a transition to it, unlike the one on the iPhone, which is just one layer of blur which also blurs the subject in some areas. The P30 Pro also has a wider aperture mode, which produces slight more discrepancies in the subject, detection, but nothing major as for portraits of people, I think the wider field of view from the P30 Pro helps to capture more detail and again, the blur processing is more complex.

Thanks to the TOF depth sensor, there's a slight discrepancy towards my right ear from the iPhone, but aside that I think between these two it comes down to which colors you prefer and the look of the overall photo to round up on the day shots. Here's a selfie from both cameras, while there's more detail from the p30 probe, given the 32 megapixel sensor, the colors are way more accurate and natural from the iPhone 10s max with the front portrait mode enabled I still prefer the iPhone Menace max in this case. So with that, let's move on to some low-light samples in this I. Don't prefer one phone over the other, but something to note is the purple fringing on the tree, which is not natural or true to life from the P30 Pro. This may have to do with the pre-release software.

That is onboard the phone and might change with the future update with night mode Na, while the foreground is definitely better from the P30 Pro. The fringing is highlighted even further in this photo of the Burn Kali fa. The noise levels from the P30 Pro are much lower, and here the effect of night mode is much more pronounced, making it the better photo to test smartphone cameras to the very maximum I also want to start incorporating zoom photos at night from the Burj Khalifa. You can see already how much more detail the P30 Pro has in its photo with night mode enabled there is even a greater enhancement and the photo has a much lower noise level compared to the iPhone Dennis max. The wide-angle lens with knife foot enabled is also a very strong candidate for a photo like this, which, again you can't do with the iPhone tennis max camera.

But anyway, we'll now move into two times. Zoom. Neither phone is significantly better than one another, but the noise from the p30 probe is lower with night mode enabled. This is further suppressed, and you can see more detail in the photo and some light fringing starting to creep up, but at 10 times zoom. You can see how much better the P30 Pro performs.

It's unbelievable that it can zoom in with this much detail and even more impressive, are the results with night mode enabled at 10 times zoom. You can even use the 50 times zoom feature in a situation like this, with relative ease, coming back down from Burj Khalifa. This photo was taken in pitch black, and you can see just how both phones have managed to capture an impressive amount of detail, but again with Wally's knife mode. The results are incredible, with detail being picked up, that you can't even see with your eyes in the same pitch-black lighting scenarios, I used to flash on both phones to see which one did a better job and, in this case I think the iPhone 10s max camera does the better job retaining more of the detail. In the background where the Huawei p30 probe keeps it black with no detail or very minimal detail whatsoever, will round up on photos with a selfie from both cameras where I think the P30 Pro is doing a better job with detail and exposure.

This may be because of the 32 megapixel front camera, but I think it struggles in portrait mode where the image is softened up. Noise wise the image from the P30 Pro is still better, but people will prefer the iPhones image here because of the sharpness it maintains on the face. Moving to video samples at 1080p resolution, I think the Huawei 330 pro is sharper and maintains more accurate stability is about the same from both phones, but the p30 probe gives you the versatility of a wider angle, video, although with less sharpness. Even while running stabilization is about the same from both phones at 4k resolution. Again, there is a greater sharpness in video from the P30 Pro with more detail.

The iPhone stabilizes video footage better, but the P30 Pro again has the advantage of a wide-angle view, although it's not the best quality. As for 4k footage when running the iPhone is better stabilization, but the petered pro may improve with an update, as this is running pre-release software. Here's a look at some 1080p footage to compare video at night, there's a constant jerk to the P30 Pro footage, which I think the iPhone doesn't suffer from, which makes me think the iPhones footage is more usable, but I wouldn't recommend either of the two phones for taking videos at night and as far as 4k footage goes that jerk from the P30 Pro is again visible. But what I notice is that the video footage from it has better clarity and less noise compared to the iPhone 10s max video, and that's about it for this one I think this was a pretty comprehensive look at both cameras, but do keep in mind the P30 Pro is on pre-release software. Let me know which phones you want to see, compare next with the P30 Pro and do make sure to subscribe for more videos in the future.

Thanks for watching this was valve, and I'll see you in the next one adios.
