Hey, what's up guys, this is IAN and welcome to another one of my videos right today, I'm going to talk about this ZTE red magic 5s. As you can see it just arrived in my mail and what I'm going to do. I'm going to do a quick unboxing. Then I'm going to talk about the specs of this phone, and then I'm going to set it up, use it for a few days and then come back with my review of this phone right. But before I do that, I hope you guys can give me a thumbs up for this video and subscribe to my channel alright. So, let's start, let's take out my trusty knife that should work put it on one side: nice, okay.

So this is my receipt and I also bought the case. So this is a case that is being sold separately after that one side, and this is a quick charger. It's a 24 watt, quick charger. I'm not too sure why they gave this, but it should have already a quick charger in the box, and this itself is the phone red magic. There's some cartoon characters uh in the front and on the side uh you see red magic, okay and nothing on the sides.

At the back, you see the red magic, and then it's got the same specs of this phone all right. So, let's take out my knife cut this open all right, nice. Okay, let's put the cover one side phone, put it one side, let's open up and see what's inside the box. First before we talk about the phone, so the filler uh nothing much on the filler. So this here see, let's see the side here.

Ah, okay, so inside here is the USB c cable, okay in this box. So this is the charging brick. So I guess this is a gift. This is a gift right outside the box. So this is the charging brick and this charging brake comes in this kind of pin all right uh.

It seems to be crooked, but I don't know: let's try it out later. Okay and then here over here, you have some, oh okay, so yeah. So this phone comes with a free case. So this is the free case itself. It's a CPU case right, transparent, uh, soft, and it's got bumpers on the side.

As you can see, you got bumpers on the side, just in case you drop the phone okay. So I'm going to put this one inside and some literature inside, okay, which you can read its in English and some Italian. I think- and it's got the warranty card inside and not forgot, not forgetting the pin this the sim ejection tool, the pin and that's it for the box. Nothing else, um talking about the box. So if you got the general specs of the phone outside on the box, okay, so let's go back to the phone itself.

Is right here slide this off. So this is the phone itself right, pretty nice. This is the silver version. This is the back okay. So let's talk about the specs of this phone, so basically uh.

This phone is 168 millimeters by 78 millimeters wide and the thickness is 9.8 millimeters and the front you get gorilla, glass, okay and at the back you get a gorilla. Glass doesn't feel like glass, but it is glass because it's uh this. This color is the silver color. So it's its got two colors one is the silver color and the other version is the pulse color, which is the red and blue uh color, okay, but the version which I got is the silver color okay. So it's got gorilla glass on front and the back, it doesn't say which version of gorilla, glass, okay, uh.

The weight of this phone is about 220 grams, pretty hefty, like in one hand, but it feels very premium. Okay, on the side, it's actually aluminum on the side, it's aluminum and yeah. It feels very premium feels nice okay. So let's talk about the buttons on the side and this features on the side. So, on this side itself, you've got the connector pins here.

Let's focus here, connect the pins right, and then you got the exhaust vents. So this exhaust fan vents is actually for the cooling fan built into the phone all right. You got your dedicated uh gaming button here and on the top. You have your microphone, and you have a headphone jack. Okay, guys there is a headphone jack on this phone here you have your touch sensitive shoulders, one on each side, okay and on this side is another vent.

So I think um air should go in here and then come out here. I think so either way, and then you have your volume rocker here your power buttons. Okay, this is the touch sensitive shoulders here at the bottom. At the bottom, you have the speaker, grille, the charging port, okay and your sim tray your sim card tray and that's it for the sides at the back. You have the yeah okay, so you have three cameras here at the back and the LED um flashlight.

So at the back you have three cameras. One is a 64 megapixel camera. This is the main camera, and then you have the 8 megapixel ultra-wide camera right, and then you have the 2 megapixel um macro camera yeah. I think so at the back, you have two cameras: uh three cameras, sorry yeah and in the front here you have your selfie camera all right. This is a notch, a very small notch here, so this uh selfie camera is an 8 megapixel camera right.

Let's see what else is there yeah? So at the back? You? Basically you have your LED lights. Your cameras and you've got the red magic logo here again and the 5s and yeah that's about it at the back right. So basically, this screen. Let's talk about the screen. The screen is an AMOLED screen and the beauty about this screen here is the 140hz uh 144 hertz, refresh rate screen right.

The size of the screen is 6.65 inches and the resolution is 2340 pixels by 1080 pixels. That will give you about 388, PPI, okay, pixels per inch and yeah. Of course, it's a gorilla, glass, okay and yeah. So that's about it for the physical part of the phone, okay, the phone, the internals of this phone. Basically, it's actually eight gigs of ram.

Okay, the one that I have is the eight gigs of ram with 128 gigs of memory. You can get the higher version, one which is the 12 gigs of ram with 256 gigs of internal memory, and that is the pulse version, which is the red and the back is red and blue design. So this silver one is actually eight gigs of ram and 128 gigs of internal storage. The phone itself runs on android 10, and it's got the red magic, 3.0 uh operating system, and it does come with the snapdragon 865 chipsets. So this actually is a snip.

It's got the uh flagship chipset, so it should be a flagship phone that has got the flagship performance: okay and uh. Basically, it's quad-core and the GPU is arena 650, there's no memory card expansion. So basically you can't expand your memory. So if you, if you have a lot of data, or you want to load up a lot of games onto this phone, I suggest you get the 256 gigs version. Okay.

So coming back to the cameras, okay, this camera um basically can record 8k at the back. The main camera can record 8k in 30 frames per second and 4k in either 30 frames or 60 frames per second, and you can also record in 1080p, but 1080p you can go all the way up to 240 frames per second right. It's got this uh led flash here and yeah the front facing camera can record in 1080p at 30 frames per second right and the sensor. Okay, the fingerprint sensor, there's a fingerprint sensor and the fingerprint sensor is at is under the screen. Okay, so this is what I like charging is USB.

It's got your basic wireless LAN. It's got your GPS, your Bluetooth, your NFC uh. Furthermore, it doesn't come with the radio, a built-in radio feature, but it's fine with me. Okay. So let's talk about the battery, so this version here.

In fact, this phone comes with a 4500 William non-removable lithium-ion battery. So it's pretty okay, the battery is not big but uh. It does have a fast charging feature, and it's got a 55 watt, five fast charging, so basically from 0 to 100. You can charge this phone in 40 minutes, okay, so, but I'm this is what they advertise. So I'm going to test out this phone.

Try it out and see if it is really what is advertised okay, so that's it for the specs of this phone. So what I'm going to do now? I'm going to set up this phone play around with it for a few days, and then I'll come back with my review of this phone I'll be back.
