Zeblaze Thor 5 Pro - Full Android Smartwatch - 1.6" Large Display - Any Good? By Chigz Tech Reviews

What's up guys, chicks here from chicks tech reviews. Today, I've got my hands on the brand new Z blaze, 4/5 Pro. Now this might watch comes with a big screen display. You have dual cameras, one on the front, one on the side. It supports face, ID, unlock and lots more, but first inside the box, you will find a user manual, a USB magnetic charger. This comes with a spare leather strap, and it is in fact a twenty-two millimeters, hybrid, strap and last, but certainly not least, the Smartwatch itself.

So here it is guys the Z blaze, Thor 5 pro, and the first thing I must say, is massive beautiful screen on the front and quickly tell you about the build quality. We have a plastic watch case, including the sides, and we do appear to have ceramic bezels, so design wise. It does look quite nice, and it's quite light for a 1.6-inch big screen Smartwatch. That screen is absolutely gorgeous. So it's a one point: six inch LAPS crystal display with a screen resolution of 320 by 320, and you do have Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

Furthermore, the watch is powered by the media tech, 6739 quad-core CPU, with three gigs of RAM and 32 gigs of internal storage. There is also a Bluetooth version for GPS GLASS. You've got Wi-Fi a 4G LTE NATO SIM card slot, so you can just remove this back cover, insert your SIM card, and then you have yourself a standalone full Android, smartphone watch, so you'll be able to make and receive phone calls, send and receive messages, and so on so forth now this watch has a big battery, it's 800 William hours, and it promises a 48-hour standby. Furthermore, this watch does not have an IP rating so recommend keeping it dry. Now, let's talk about the dimensions.

The watch is 50 millimeters in diameter and 16.8 millimeters in thickness and weighs 65 point 7 grams now, you're also getting black leather straps, and again it's a hybrid, so the inside is made from they are easy to remove and replace with your own 22 millimeter bands. Now this is a big Smartwatch. It's got a 1.6-inch screen and this is what it looks like on my wrist. So, yes, it does have some bulk and size to it, but I have to say it's not that heavy and in case you're wondering this is what the brown straps look like on. The watch and I will quickly put it on my wrist.

Furthermore, to give you an idea of the size of this watch, I am going to bring in my daily driver the Samsung Galaxy watch active 2, so this is how they fare side by side. Now, the active 2 is 44 millimeters in diameter, with a 1.4-inch screen, and it's ten point: nine millimeters thick and weighs 44 grams now compared to the ZI blaze, which is 50 millimeters in diameter, with a 1.6-inch screen. It's sixteen point. Eight millimeters thick and weighs 65 point seven grams, so that was a very quick side by side to give you guys an idea of the size of the ZI blaze, Thor 5 pro now on the side of the watch. We have a power button, 5 megapixel camera and a back button.

On the other side, there is nothing and at the bottom of the watch, we have our charger pins. Heart rate sensor and an easy-to-access SIM card tray, so it just comes off. You don't need a screwdriver, absolutely love this design. I, don't like those watches where you need a screwdriver to access the SIM card tray. This is what I call practical, and it works really well now quickly show you the charger in practice.

So it's a magnetic charger, so it will stay in place, and you can charge this with any 5 volt USB charger, and it takes around 18 minutes to fully charge this watch. So let's have a closer look at the watch faces. This is your default watch. Face and I have to say: I have to say it's quite an eye-catching watch face now. If you want to change, all you do is keep the center press for 2 seconds, and then you'll be presented with a rather large collection of different watch faces that you can instantly change to and, as usual, I will now share with you.

The selection of watch face is available on this watch and when you get to the end of this you'll see a plus sign in which you can tap and then gain access to a whole library of free downloadable watch faces and any one of these watch faces can be downloaded and installed in seconds. So, let's go through the watch features if you swipe down from the top you've got the date time, connection, information and battery, and if we swipe again you've got some quick toggles for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, brightness, location mode, etc. If we swipe again, you've got quick clean, so you just tap this, and it will do a quick memory clean for you. If we swipe again, you've got some music controls. Now you do have 32 gigs of internal storage, so you can load up your mp3s and play music directly from the watch.

You do have Bluetooth, so you can connect up your Bluetooth headphones or ear pods, and you can listen to music on the go. If we swipe again, you've got your local weather, so you just tap it, and it will immediately update the weather for you and if we swipe to the right, you will get your notifications pushed directly from your smartphone. Now. If we swipe up, you will see your at-a-glance fitness, so you will show you your kilometers, calorie and steps taken so far. If we swipe again you'll have a 7-day record of your steps and distance etc.

Now, if we swipe towards the left, you've got your apps I'll quickly go through them with you. You've got contacts phone messaging settings, browser downloads, calendar, clock, camera, gallery, music, sound recorder file, manager, heart rate, monitor, Fitness, weather voice, search. You've got the official Play Store here, so you do have the full version of the Play Store, allowing you to download your favorite games and apps. Furthermore, you also got Google Maps assistant sports target system, optimization and another app store with some popular apps that you can immediately download. So I just connected up this Smartwatch to my laptop and, as you can see, I've got full access to the internal storage, so now I'm able to copy over multimedia photos, music, etc.

So I'm happy to say this watch does support USB data transfer. Now I do want to test a few things out, beginning with a phone now. This watch does not support Bluetooth phone calls, so you cannot make any Bluetooth phone calls with this watch. If you want to make phone calls, you have to insert SIM card this supports both 3G and 4G networks, and then you'll be able to make and receive phone calls just like a regular smartphone. Now.

The next thing I want to test is the camera. You have a five megapixel camera on the side, but you've also got access to a five megapixel front-facing camera, which means you can install apps like WhatsApp and Skype, and you'll be able to make video calls directly on the Smartwatch and if you're wondering what the quality is like here are a few samples for you guys to check out. So here is a quick video sample of the front-facing camera. We are shooting an unknown resolution. I'm guessing 720p could even be 480p, and this is what you can expect in terms of video quality.

So I have just initiated a video call just to show you what to expect, so I don't via WhatsApp and Here. I am on both devices, and you can see that it's working absolutely fine, so you can install WhatsApp just like a regular smartphone. You download it from the Play Store open it up. All your contacts will appear, and then you can go ahead and make phone calls videos or send messages, and it does work extremely well. You can do video chats, or you can do regular called without video, and you can talk to people directly from your wrist.

So it's pretty awesome. If you wanted the conversation to be a bit more private, you can hook up a pair of Bluetooth, headphones, and then you'll be talking as if you're on your phone now. The next thing I want to test is YouTube, so you can watch YouTube videos directly on the watch. I'll quickly show you this now watching YouTube videos and playing games is definitely going to rinse the battery. A lot quicker.

So do bear that in mind. So here we go, but this is what YouTube looks like so that was YouTube. We are now going to test out a game so beach, buggy racing. Is the game I like to test out on smartwatches and the reason is it uses gyroscope for controls. So it's a good way of testing out the gyroscope as well.

There we go so, as you saw beach, buggy racing is working. Absolutely fine. So now it's time for my favorite test to screen on hand race test here is the Z blaze, Thor, 5 Pro, and for reference we also have the Galaxy watch active 2. So here we go screen on hand raise test. The active 2 was first and then a 2-second delay for the Thor 5 Pro.

Let's try it again. Shall we same result? It looked like a three-second delay there. It was a lot slower than the first time. I'm going to try this a few more times without dropping my camera again about two to three-second delay before you see anything on the screen last time. Three-second delay, so it looks like the Thor 5 pro doesn't have a very fast screen on Henry's I mean it's not bad.

Now it does the job, but a three-second delay is a bit slow for my liking, not so fast screen on hand raised on the Z Play Store five pro now, whilst I have both watches on my wrist, we are going to do a similar heart rate test. Here we go Wow spot-on, so my heart rate 72 on both devices more or less, so it looks like we do- have an accurate heart rate sensor on both watches. So that brings me to my top Smartwatch chart for 2020 and to start off this new chart. I have kept in their nine of the very best smartwatches that we saw last year. Now, if we add the newsy blaze, Thor 5 Pro to the mix, it takes position 10 with a rating of 8.5 out of 10. So there you have it guys that was the Z blaze, Thor 5 Pro. So here is a big screen: full Android Smartwatch priced currently at 129 US dollars. This is the decent all-around Smartwatch decent screen, great, build quality, removable, straps, SIM card slot and lots more now. The drawbacks are Bluetooth cords not supported screen on Henry's is a bit slow. Loudspeaker distorts slightly on the loudest volume, and you have a bottom half tire.

Instead of a full screen display battery life is actually pretty good. Depending on what you do on it, it can survive a full day on a single charge, bottom line for the price. This is actually a pretty good full Android, big screen Smartwatch and with that being said, I will leave the links in the description. So you guys can check this product out. Meanwhile, thank you.
