Hi there it's UAR for the tech travel geeks. We've recently received a brand new Redmi Note, 9 t4, review from Xiaomi, and we've been testing it for the last couple of weeks today, we'll be checking out the performance of the phone when playing PUBG mobile. If you haven't already make sure to subscribe to the tech travel geeks to see more videos from us, so far, we've really been enjoying the phone. The performance has been quite smooth. That's why we've decided to do a little test by playing a high-end game player, unknowns battlefronts by Creighton. I've already installed it, and it went quite smoothly thanks to the device's, quick storage, so no problems there.
I also have all the files downloaded, so the app should load quite fast. As you can see, the home screen looks quite good on this 6.53 inch lcd it's full HD, plus with a resolution of 1080 by 2340 pixels. So it's great for this price range. Once in the game, we can check the menu and pick the best settings. The phone uses an outscore MediaTek demand c800u5g chipset, so it should give us some decent performance.
Let's check the menu for the graphics settings, you can choose between smooth, balanced HD, HDR, ultra HD and UHD. Well, don't ask me for the difference. The default is HD and all the higher options are not available, but high definition should be good. Let's see how good the Mali g57 graphics card handles it for the frame rate. Let's aim at the high and see how it goes.
Also, this version of the phone we're testing only supports up to 60 frames per second, so we'll just get the highest available frame rate. Okay, let's not wait and just jump straight down. As you can see, everything is smooth so far and my nose dive looked quite good. I was lucky enough to parachute in Dubai a few years ago, and it was an amazing experience. So I was happy to relive this in a game, definitely not as thrilling and spectacular, but I can really imagine what my character feels back in the game.
I was able to look around quite smoothly, no delays there, the field of view and loading distance were good as well. After an tiny landing. I ran towards the nearest house to get some equipment. I found some armor in the backpack, and now I'm just missing a weapon. So let's hope I find one soon all right, we've got a basic one, so it should be downhill from now.
Oh, thanks for the message Matteo can't you see I'm busy here, filming, okay, some more weapons. Unfortunately, I'm still learning which one is the best. So I'm just picking whichever one go up the roof, then alright, I found a bigger one, excellent that should allow me to get on with the game. Okay, I'll, just speed up this section up as I'm leaving the building. Let's just go out oops, it looks like I'm in the red zone, let's get away from it and head towards the play zone.
Um, that's what the explosion looked like in the game. As you can see, everything is still working nice and smoothly. Let's check what the swimming animation looks like to get across the river, all good everything is still smooth with no slowdowns. Finally, some proper action- let's see what's happening here- hide behind the tree for a second, a few shots, and I'm quite lucky they're knocked down now, just one more thing to do. Okay, let's check for some loot in that house, maybe we'll find something interesting or maybe someone another message from mater notifying me that the Redmi Note 90 will be going on pre-sale in the UK on the 28th of January.
So it's just two days after we're filming this shot exciting. I can hear some steps nearby, probably some company- let's see how it goes this time. I should be quite well armed this time, good, they didn't manage to run away, I'm on a roll, let's go out and head towards the center of the map, some more shooting, let's see if I can help there excellent another one down with 65 players and two other teammates in the game. The next 90 seconds was a bit of running, but, as you can see, it's still nice and smooth the phone isn't getting caught or throttled in any way. So it's all good from this side as well looks like another two guys, so we're at five points: excellent, okay, we're halfway through the game, so I'll jump a few minutes ahead.
The map shows that the game area is decreasing now, so I'm heading towards the center. It didn't take long to get into some more enemies. There was a bit of a funny glitch, and they went down on the ground, but this is more of an issue of the game than with the phone. Let's jump a bit in time to see what's happening, great found, a helmet should help with the headshots. The game area outside is still looking good.
Alright, we have some company. It still takes me a while to change the equipment, but I think I'm getting there 7 points and 20 players left. Let's go. Let's jump ahead once more and enjoy some surroundings with some mountains. In the background, it's great that mobile games can now be as playable and looking so nice.
Oh, something is dropping from the sky. Let's jump straight there towards the red smoke, fantastic! It's a crate, let's see! What's in there, lots of surprises, including some camouflage someone's there, let's take care of that after four more minutes of running around, I got to another build up area and got attacked. Unfortunately, this was the end of my luck. I got knocked down and didn't manage to escape. I ended up with 8 points and 5 players left, I'm quite happy with the result, once I was done, I decided to test how it works with my game controller, the idea red knight, which we reviewed last year, make sure to check that video out the phone fit in perfectly, but if it were any larger, you'd have to use a bigger controller all good this time the game works great with the controller, even though this is just my second time using this controller in the game still no slowdowns.
The game is really enjoyable. On this larger screen and despite the budget price you're still able to play higher end games, the game also works smoothly when using vehicles. Well, once I learned how to drive them using the game controller that is okay, that's it for the video. We might do some more gaming videos like Call of Duty, mobile or similar, so let us know if you have any other suggestions for us also make sure to subscribe to our channel to get notified about our future.
