Hi Chris here with the camera comparison that many of you did ask for, so it is the Xiaomi Mi 11 series, the Mi 11, the Mi 11i versus then the Mi 11 Ultra. So right now front facing cameras. They are all 20 megapixels, and they all only support 1080p, which really is not that great for 2021. They need to support 4k, they're, flagship phones. After all, so stability with the image stabilization is good here now the microphones they're all very, very similar here, 320 kilo bits per second, and they all sound pretty much the same to me, but I will occasionally swap over the sources, so we can pick up on any difference there. So walking down these stairs and then a jog ahead.
You can see that the stabilization across all three of them here, all three of them- have the snapdragon triple eight. Ah, pretty much the same, so no real difference, I'll swap over now to the rear cameras and that's where we're going to see some differences. So this is 4k 30 frames per second, we do have 4k 60. , so with the mile 11i, it does not have any optical image. Stabilization, it's 108 megapixel sensor.
The Mi 11 has the optical image stabilization with its 108 megapixel sensor and then the 11 Ultra 50 megapixel sensor with optical image, stabilization too, and they are all using electronic image stabilization with the video. So, as I walk ahead very steady across all three of them, it's just a light. Jog there is a bit of wind noise coming through and overall excellent image. Stabilization and perfect focus on all of these models. I've had no issues with it.
Focusing and locking you do get a little of panning jitter comes through I have noticed now this is 8k video. So we get six minutes to 8k on the Mi 11 I and the Mi 11 with the Ultra. It is unlimited, so 24 frames per second on the m11 Ultra and the Mi 11 24 per second and 30 frames per second, which is actually what they call the AI 8k with the Mi 11i. This is our Ultra wide cameras here. So there's a big difference.
We have the 48 megapixel on the Mi 11 Ultra. There is no optical image stabilization, but it has electronic. The Mi 11 has electronic image stabilization, that is a 13 megapixel sensor and then the 11i uses an 8 megapixel sensor, and you can only shoot 1080p maximum. So there is a big difference in the quality there. If you shoot a lot of Ultra wide photos and video, I would consider the Mi 11 over the 11i.
So when I pan around here, I have noticed that you will see a bit of Jada sometimes come through, especially with the exposure changes auto exposure at the moment. All of these phones- here 's do have a manual mode, so you can tap the screen, hold and lock the exposure too. If you wanted to do so, and now I will jog ahead again, demonstrating the electronic image stabilization across. All three is very good. Zoom camera is now so no contest.
We have a 48 megapixel five times: optical zoom camera on the Mi, 11 Ultra and then just two times: digital zoom, on both of the 108-megapixel sensors, with the Mi 11i and the Mi 11. As I walk ahead, you can see the five times. Does rock around a little more that has optical image stabilization and the Mi 11 and 11? I am using electronic image stabilization only for their video footage, low light video now so a huge difference between the Mi 11 Ultra, which is clearly the best here with that gn2 sensor, just leading in so much more light, and I'm using the low light night video mode here and the Mi 11. I am struggling because it does not have the optical image stabilization, and it shows here a little, but I think with video. You don't really see it as much as we do with photos.
So, looking here at this house, it's barely showing up, in fact, it's not showing up all at all on the 11i and the focus is pulsing in and out on the Mi 11. Now we know the differences between these phones that there's a bit of a difference with the cameras with the optimization so the front facing camera video. I prefer the Mi 11 Ultra colors, even though the footage is all the same, it's only 1080p, and it does have at least the electronic image stabilization audio with video. I think the Mi 11 Ultra does sound a little richer. When I listen to it with some headphones on, I can hear the difference the Mi, 11 and 11.
I sound a little flatter there, but it does suffer from a bit of wind noise, rear cameras, so the 8k video on the meal, 11 Ultra, was the best. It had more details in the shadows. It was way more detailed and the 11i was just a shaky mess with no optical image. Stabilization Ultra, wide video I give the win to the Mi 11i preferred it. It had the natural looking colors, whereas the Mi 11 Ultra was just too over saturated from my own personal liking there onto the stills, so the Mi 11 Ultra, I think, was the best as expected and Mi 11, because the optical image stabilization helped us most of the time get sharper, looking images and without the optical image stabilization.
The 11i would sometimes often, depending on your subject, have a little more blur in it. I prefer the Ultra wide with the Mi 11 Ultra had just a few more details and when cropping in more details there as well, but I think the Ultra wide with the Mi 11 was still very good and sometimes actually had more details in the shadow there to compete with the Ultra. It was just a little strange. It's optimization, clearly low light. The mir11 Ultra was the best.
Definitely there was a huge difference there. Second, of course, the Mi 11 and last, as expected, the 11i without any optical image, stabilization. So there's a comparison. We know all the differences now between them. If you want the best get the Ultra, if you're looking at the Mi, 11 and 11 I.
I would go for the Mi 11. Definitely when it comes to cameras, so do subscribe for more upcoming videos from me and I will see you in the next one.
