Hey guys this is mike from tech reviews here, and I wanted to test out uh the speeds on two different networks here. So this is not a video I normally do, but if you know I'm at home and I wanted to test out uh the visible network versus T-Mobile's network- and this is actually let me just go over- the phones really quick. This is the revel 5g, which is an android phone right that I just purchased from T-Mobile. So right now it is connected to uh T-Mobile's 4g network. Let me see if I can get that on the shot there so, depending on where I am in my city, there is 5g, but right now it's connected to 4g and I just wanted to compare both of them. This is the Pixel 4a, which I do have running on visible network uh, which is uh piggybacking off Verizon.
So I just wanted to again show you guys the difference there, but I wanted to go ahead and uh you know, do a comparable speed test, and you know show you guys uh what you know. What the difference is, I guess in speed are so let's go ahead and do it I'm going to go ahead and click go on both of them on three two one before both of them turn off over here, and it is about 11 o'clock at nighttime. So, a little later in the evening for as far as visible goes, you know, I get a pretty consistent speed with them, which is usually over 30 megs, at least at nighttime. This is probably the highest I've seen it. As you can see here, though, T-Mobile is just blowing it out of the water.
T-Mobile's download is 97 on their 4g network and visible, which again it's a flat rate of 40 a month that you can pay getting. Actually the best results that I've ever seen it that it get, which I'm very shocked, and I'll do hello I'll do a test one more time, just to um to kind of compare uh, both devices right, uh with but again uh 45, download on visible network and 11 upload, and then 97 and 40 97, download uh on again T-Mobile's network, hello and 44 uploads. So, let's do it one more time, let me press x there, that's actually my best visible test from visible and again this is the Pixel 4a. Both phones are not that old. By the way this one just came out at the beginning of September and Pixel 4a came out last month, one more time.
Three two one can tell that the ping on the pixel or the revel 5g is a lot quicker uh, which is 78 milliseconds and on the uh Pixel 4a takes about 155 in this case. So, as you can tell on the wow, this is the fastest I've seen it 200 downloads, wow, okay, wow, okay, so this is, you know showing off the 5g capabilities, because I don't even get that with 4g. On my iPhone 11 I get maybe like 80 to 100 on my iPhone 11. And on visible again was very a little upsetting this time around 13 download 12, which is again pretty okay. You know what again but wow.
Okay, I'm going to do one more test, guys. Sorry, I'm getting all these ads over here, and then we'll, we'll. Let you guys decide. You know who's the better network. Obviously I live in south Texas, so I feel like T-Mobile's network, is a little stronger in this area than others.
And again you can see here that it's shooting up um, but again, this time visible is doing pretty good. Also, 43 44. Come on. Can we get to 45 on visible? Come on there? You go 44 45 there you go, I'm oh, it's at 47, now great. So I've never seen it go that high on visible networks, so uh comparable to T-Mobile's network which again over here, it's 131 download, and its upload is 40.
So these 5g phones, guys are it's gonna, really make the difference. Although I know this isn't true 5g just, yet some people are gonna. You know say things you know. Let me see if I can exit the ad there. Some people will say things when it comes to T-Mobile's 5g network.
Again you know it's not obviously optimized yet to where they want it to be. So I'm not going to knock on their network too hard again. It doesn't even say 5g up here, but I can tell that it's. It's piggybacking off the 5g, either radio bands or whatever, because I don't normally get speeds like that with my regular LTE. So again, even though it says 4g LTE, I'm pretty sure it's using 5g right now, um so again guys.
This is just a quick test on testing out these two devices here on speed test, so you know take it with a grain of salt. This is visible network. This is T-Mobile's network, two different phones. Of course, you know again. You have 5g bands in this phone.
You only have LTE bands in this phone, and I'm not going to get super technical. I know if you guys are you know smart techies out there you'll know which bands each individual phone has so again guys. This is mike from b tech review signing off just a quick video to check to let you guys see the differences here and again. Thank you for watching. Please subscribe.
