T-Mobile-Sprint Customers get a final nail in Sprint coffin! Phone leases done! By Sneed Mobile Tech

What is up SMT nation, it's your boy, the SMT hope this video finds you well and everybody's having a great weekend or whenever you are watching this thanks for tuning in we've got a bit of a public service announcement for you today. This uh probably most greatly impacts. You know spring customers, obviously anybody who was previously a sprint customer and has transitioned over to T-Mobile in the merger integration process. You kind of have some things that are happening. I mean they've been going on for over a year. You know dating back to last year.

In August the merger is kind of messy. I think all mergers are this. One is no different. Let's take a look at what's going on. Currently, this may be kind of the final nail in the coffin for most sprint customers um, let's go ahead and get into it.

So what it is essentially it's no more phone leases for you if you are a sprint customer with sprint line, access and sprint accounting. So what we're going to be seeing here is the lease offers that a lot of spring customers used to really enjoy and maybe are currently on one. This is going to be changing things so August 17th. At that point in time there will no longer be any new lease activations line additions or upgrades utilizing the sprint lease legacy systems. Currently, the leases are not going to be affected or impacted in any way.

So if you have a pre-existing sprint lease, essentially what's going to happen, there is your, just gonna, basically finish that out full term make all your payments and then that's the end of the road for it. So this indicates two things for me and to the rest of those out there um affected by this. It's the end of life for merger commitments. This is, you know, a protection that was in place, I think for three years, and it's been one year since the merger integration process and these leases are typically, I think, uh 24 months or two years, so that kind of puts it at the end of the road. I think it puts a spot on that.

Mark so for the sprint customer support. Obviously there's that and then the systems they have to unify systems for T-Mobile customers. So there's going to be some sort of fusion. I don't know if they're going to create a new system entirely or just get everybody transitioned over to T-Mobile, eventually, but the current operation with two separate systems and policies, it's costly, it's aggravating to customer care agents, it's actually foolish, but they're kind of stuck in this as a business operation because of the merger commitments. So your options now jump on demand is there for you uh.

You know moving over to a T-Mobile account sooner rather than later, you could take advantage of their offers, but it's over folks, your options now getting your phones from the OEM, the manufacturer, like apple or Samsung, or google, or whomever Motorola um, just or just through T-Mobile right. You just can't really do it through them after August 16th, which would be tomorrow at the time. This recording uh share this with your friends' family if they might be affected by it, share it with your social media outlets, because you know you might help. You know get this out to people, I'm sure you know T-Mobile's not really mandated to let people know of it. I mean they'll put out a blurb or whatever, but they want to get people out of those sprint plans and leases and lines anyways, but go ahead and like this subscribe for more content from the SMT YouTube channel.
