Hey everyone in today's video I'm going to compare the Samsung Galaxy Tab s 4, which was released in August 2000 18 verses that have Essex, which was released recently August 2019, so I've been using this for a year and this for mine. Now the purpose of this video is to let you know whether it's still worth it to buy the Liam model, especially when you can get it at discount. Considering that the new model is out- and here in Singapore the secondhand models they are selling for 30 to 40 percent of the original retail price. So you can get a perfect deal with the previous model in this video I'm just going to talk about the general user experience. So when it comes to design the new tablet is slightly thinner, but it comes with a smaller battery 7040 mini m. This is seven thousand three hundred million in terms of the battery life.
They are still very good. You can get seven eight nine hours for the design. Well, they look actually pretty similar, except this does feel thicker, and this is definitely heavier. Both have a ten point. Five-inch OLED screen the colors are very vibrant.
Even after using this for a year, the screen still looks really nice. Now it's the main difference between the design is the older model has the headphone jack. The new model doesn't have that, and this comes with well, you can type in the into and lock, or you can use phase and lock. This along is not that reliable with the new model they have the fingerprint sensor and the screen which actually works better compared to the face recognition. Both tablets have the micro SIM tray, so no problems we're running out of storage.
The base model for this comes with only sixteen for kicks and base model. For this now comes with 1028 expert with micro. SD card can fantastic feature, you don't worry about storage, and the good thing about micro SD card is, if you upgrade to another tablet in the future that has that cut slot. You can always use your own SD card. There are still 4 ways because on both tablets and audio quality for both tablets and tactic resolution on both tablets also the same 2560 by 1600 and the processor.
This has dragon 855. This has Snapdragon 835 in terms of benchmark. This is definitely going to have better benchmarks personally, for me, I only use the tablets for watching videos, doing documents using Google Apps, so I don't play games. So I cannot tell you how good the tablets are specifically at playing games. But if you want to play games then you can consider getting the newer model so over the past month that I've used this I don't really notice any performance difference compared to the earlier model.
This has 6 gigs of RAM. This has 4 gigs of ram. So if you open a lot of apps, maybe you can see the difference, but so far I've not seen any differences yet so both tablets they come with the s-pen S Pen from the earlier model, is actually the batterer Aspen I prefer this, because the design is cylindrical, it's easier to hold and Tim here when you're writing or drawing it's easier to see. The tip the newer S Pen, it has flat surfaces on both sides and the whole thing is rounded off, which is nice, but it's not as comfortable compared to holding a cylindrical design and also this the thickness is its thicker, which makes it nicer to hoe as well and the tip here not as easy to see compared to this tip here, let's load some web pages and see the speed, so this definitely slightly faster when it comes to your loading pages, but is it a few hundred dollars more competitors? Is it worth to upgrade personally I? Don't think so? Both screens are still 60. Hertz colors on both displays are very vibrant and, as mentioned, audio quality is just fantastic on both just with the tab SO.
If you want to listen to headphones or earphones, you will have to get those blue to who our letters hit. Once all your foots with this use, do you have the 3.5 mm audio check? The main reason why I bought this new tablet is that I have another YouTube channel that focuses on heart. I bought this to test its drawing performance and when it comes to drawing and note-taking performance of both tablets, it's essentially the same. If I don't have that YouTube channel, and today I'm out to buy a new Android tablet and if I want the best Android tablet, the s6 is definitely the best. If I have limited budget, then I will probably go it as for because the performance on both essentially the same except for gaming, which I don't do the features that I like about this tablet, would be the fingerprint sensor which works relatively well.
Things I, don't like well the newest pen, not as comfortable, and also that 3.5 millimeter audio jack. It's no longer there both are running Android nice. So pretty much all the features of Android you can still get on both so yeah. That's it for this video I hope. This is somewhat helpful.
Thanks for watching see you in the next video bye.
