Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G Blue Hinge By Gear Wave

All right guys, it's your boy, big dizzy gateway channel, is back once again all right. We got a heavy hitter today, man or should I say tonight: heavy heavy heavy hitter uh been waiting on this bad boy for about a month now. Um- and this is the customizable blue- hinge on the uh brand new Samsung Galaxy fold. Z, flip 5g. Look how beautiful that looks! Look at that hinge all right! If you go straight through Samsung, you do have the option to get a customizable hinge, there's four colors blue red, uh, yellow and silver. I believe all right.

Only through Samsung are you able to get. The customizable hinge been seeing a lot of reviews on the phone um. Just you know a lot of reviews on the phone, a lot of guys pointing out a lot of good uh things about the phone, but I haven't seen a review with a customizable hinge. Yet all right- and it has a little texture to it there very, very nice man- all right so just wanted to give you my first impressions um on the device. I've only had it for about 24 hours ran out with it a little today, battery life um, you know it was good, didn't have any problem, I didn't use it a whole.

I didn't get to use it as much as I would have liked to use it today, but battery life is great. Furthermore, I mean the device feels just awesome. Just awesome in the hand I mean it is a little weighted, and you know it's not like heavy. Like. Oh my god.

This thing you know I got wow. I have to carry this thing around all day, but it has a very uh, very solid, feel to it. It feels premium all around the device. It looks premium um and the hinge is just feeling good feels sturdy. All right, you have the fingerprint sensor over here.

Um just awesome man just awesome screen is awesome. All right. Looking at some mountain bike pages, some pictures I do have the blue light filter on now, because uh, you know it's late, but I just want to get uh. Give you guys a look at the customizable hinge on the phone and some uh you know give me some first impressions of how it looks. It did a very good job with it very good job, with it um just very, very, very nice job all around with the phone um, some reviewers uh, you know quite a few of them spoke about the speakers on the phone.

They sound awesome loud, clear, good balance base full um. I was really impressed with um the speakers on this phone. These speakers sound better than a lot of the other Samsung speakers. I don't know what they did with these speakers, but they sound good. Maybe it's because you have two sets of full speakers.

Usually you get one like on a traditional phone. You get the one at the bottom, the grille at the bottom, and then you'll get the speakers inside the earpiece um at the top. Maybe it's because they have another set here um. You know a full grill at the top and the bottom that you're getting that even sound all along all over so um yeah man. Just, just awesome man can't wait to you, know, take it out and take some more video and pictures with it and play with it and see what it is, what it's capable of doing, um, I'm a little like perturbed right now.

You know it's crazy. You can't even find any. Furthermore, you can't even find any cases for this phone. I think uh, that's the only downside to this phone. I think Samsung, really uh dropped the ball a little.

You know with this case man, this phone, I mean for the amount of money that you're paying. Then you need a case on this phone. They should have thrown a case in the box. I mean they have companies like OnePlus, you know on their mid-range to upper range phones, they'll throw a little gel case in the box. Hey definitely you know this phone next time around Samsung, you have to throw a case uh in the box.

You know sit down with the design team. You know I've seen some on Amazon already. They have cased some nice cases from some companies. You know sit down and really dial in um a proprietary case that goes with this phone. You know you guys are designing the phone from ground up so know who better than design to design a case specifically for the device um.

Furthermore, you know, preferably something that covers the back and the front, because I'm seeing some some some cases, and they only cover the back portion of the phone, which is ridiculous. Furthermore, you need something to cover the front as well um you know so, but um just trying to think if I'm missing anything but just whoa, I mean this is this: is the new wave of devices man all right? I mean you know you have some other companies that came out with foldable you know. Apple is gonna, have to jump on the bandwagon now, but you know think about it back in the days apples at the precedence with the phone uh Samsung set the precedent with the big phones. Now Samsung is back out. You know ahead in front of everybody and pioneering and ushering in this new, this new wave.

You know how we do our gear wave man. We give you the wave. Constant waves are just that fresh new stuff man, so you know Samsung is that's what they're doing right now you know when we look back 10 20 years from now we say: okay, you know when foldable are, like you know, like yesterday's news, you're gonna look back and say damn in 2020, you know yeah, we had cold video. We had a lot of. You know it was a crazy year, but that was the year Samsung brought out that foldable phone and that official foldable phone.

Yes, they had official. You know foldable phone last year um, but this should have been the device they brought out last year. That screen from last year in the front was way too small. That turned me off immediately. This should have been the device they know they dropped uh last year and um.

You know, I think the next evolution of this is going to be the pen they're going to put a pen in this probably next year, get rid of the note phones, and this is going to be the new note guys I mean I'm a note. Guy, since the note 4 all right- and once I started using this- I don't even know I love the note, no disrespect to the note, but once you start using this, it's going to be hard for you to go back to the note. You know, I think some people don't like this narrow screen out on the front. I think it's fine, I'm you know typing with it. It has been fine, you know and scrolling- and you know yes, it could be, as you know, slightly little bigger, but it's fine for me.

Um really, no problems with, but really really really digging the phone man really digging the phone. So bummer I got a, you know, walk around with it for a month or a month and a half, and you know I won't be able to have a case on it, but you know I just received it uh. Yesterday, like I said 24 hours, I think customizable hinges took a little longer, so you know anybody else. Have the customizable hinge? Let me know uh post something.
