Samsung Galaxy S20 VS iPhone 11 Camera Comparison

What's happening everyone, my name is Alex and welcome back for this camera comparison. We have the latest smartphone from Samsung the Samsung Galaxy s 20 and the latest phone from Apple, the iPhone 11. Now the S 20 is about $200 more expensive than the iPhone 11, but does that mean that this one is better at taking pictures than this one? Well, we're definitely going to find out. Now the camera systems on the back of these two devices are a bit different, and that has to do the fact that, on the back of the Samsung Galaxy s 20 we have an extra camera. That's a telephoto lens, so I won't be showing you any pictures taking on the telephoto lens some for this particular video. However, I'm going to show you pictures taking the ultra-wide lens to the main lens.

I also have some portrait mode pictures show some nighttime pictures as well, then we're going to move on to check out some daytime and nine-time month, sample videos and all the way at the end, we're gonna check out some selfies, just in case you're wondering all the pictures are taken on auto mode, and I'm talking about the daytime pictures, but for nighttime pictures, I head to the Samsung Galaxy s 20 using the night mode, the iPhone 11 switches to the night mode by itself, and with that being said, let's start the daytime pictures. So the first two pictures that you are seeing or taking the ultra-wide lenses on the back of these two devices. Now the main difference that I've run noticing between the two is the fact that the colors from the pictures taken by the iPhone 11 are a bit closer to reality, dumb assumption galaxy s, 20 seems to use somewhat more on saturated colors, not necessarily a bad thing, and it really depends on what you prefer, but for me personally, for the ultra-wide down lenses. I think that the iPhone did a bit better. Moving on to portrait mode pictures were for portrait mode pictures.

Everything is reversed, so the color seems to be more accurate from the Samsung Galaxy s 20, and the subjects also seem to be brighter because some pictures taken by the iPhone 11, you can barely see the subject so for poor. Take more pictures. I personally, prefer the ones I'm taking by the Samsung Galaxy s 20. But definitely, let me know in the comments down below which one you prefer for portrait mode pictures, because the edge detection is kind of the same. Just the colors and the brightness sun seems to be a bit different.

Moving on to regular looking pictures so pictures taking with the main lens well for those pictures. Once again the Samsung Galaxy s, 20 seems to have somewhat more saturated colors. So if you're looking for the phone that takes pictures closer to reality, I think the iPhone does better. Now. Full dynamic range I feel that um the Galaxy S what it does better in pretty much every single pictures.

So for that the iPhone kind of loses, but once again check out the pictures that I'm showing you and definitely let me know in the comments down below which one you prefer around for daytime pictures and I have a few more pictures that I want you to see, and I'll be right back so for to ignore pictures. I definitely prefer the s20, but for all the other pictures I wouldn't mind the pictures from this one or this one. They both did them pretty good. All right, then, we are moving on to nighttime pictures and, as I said earlier, for nighttime pictures I've used the night mode on the s20, because the iPhone 11 switches to the night mode by itself. So the first thing I notice, is the fact that the pictures taken by done s20 seems to be a bit brighter and them that wasn't the case of the s tense.

So the s20 definitely improved for nighttime pictures. Now, if you look at sharpness and I, feel that the pictures taken by the iPhone 11 were a bit sharper just a tiny bit sharper, and that may not be important because well nighttime pictures well, you know how it is. They aren't that clear for on any phone other than that, the saturation from the pictures taken by the galaxy s 20 seems to be a bit higher, so just like dumb daytime pictures, but overall I feel that both devices did really, really good. So once again, definitely let me know in the comments down below if you prefer the s 20 or the iPhone 11 for nighttime pictures, and we are moving on to video recordings or for video recordings. The s20 can record in 8k done.

iPhone 11 can only do 4k, but I'm not gonna, show any 8k recordings in this video for daytime recordings. I feel that the iPhone does better for the video quality. The colors seem to be more accurate than the video is sharper and the in stabilization may be a bit better, but the installation on the s20 wasn't bad either. Now the microphone recordings from the s20 do seem a bit better than the ones done by the iPhone 11. As for nighttime recordings.

Well, even though the recordings from the s20 were brighter I feel that the footage looks a bit better from the iPhone 11, because it wasn't as noisy the footage from the Assam 20 is just way too noisy, so I feel that I could fix the footage from the iPhone 11 better than I could fix the footage from this one. So I'll, let you watch those sample recordings, and I'll be right back. We have our first video test between the Samsung Galaxy s, 20 and ? 11 per second of this resolution. Both devices have one image: stabilization walk slowly hear hear, I'm gonna, turn left, and then we'll pan right towards the Sun. Basically, so this is our recording from these two devices like under these conditions- and we are moving on to our second video recording between the second recording in 4k at 30 frames per second, and I'm.

Also, going to do a bit of running, so we can see which device has better in stabilization. The water support over here on some water noises between the s20 and the iPhone 11. It looks like we're. Moving on to pick up the recording download the front-facing cameras on the Samsung Galaxy s 20 and on the iPhone 11. Both devices can be facing cameras.

That's a good thing, because a lot of other phones, like the pixel core, for example, cannot do 4k the front facing camera. So this whole recording done between the s and my all right. This is a quick video test between the Samsung Galaxy S 20 and the iPhone 11 I'm, currently recording at 30 frames per second finish before you see for yourself. It's nighttime, so I'm gonna, pan right slowly and will pan back left in stabilization for both devices, so this whole recording from the s 20 and 11 at night, and we are moving on to our second video test in low-light. So from what I'm, seeing on the screens here, the s20 will the image is way brighter.

The mobile screen 11, so I'm gonna, stop here, we'll pan right and once again, I can see way more on the screen on the s2000 I can see on the iPhone 11 we pan back left, alright, and we're moving on to selfies were for data himself is I feel that the iPhone 11 does a bit better, all the daytime selfies from the s20. Just don't look that great, and it was the same case on the previous on galaxy device, the s some 10s for nighttime selfies, because the galaxy s 20 allows you to use the night mode for selfies I feel that the nighttime self is from the s22 looking better. So there you have it the iPhone 11 versus the Samsung Galaxy S 20. Realistically, they both do perfect, even though I do prefer this one for portrait mode pictures and this one forum, video recordings. But what do you guys think? Do you like this one forum, pictures and videos or this one? Definitely let me know in the comments down below alright, if you did like the video, don't forget to press that like button, don't forget to subscribe, and I'll see in the next one, thanks for watching.
