Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4(2020) Review

So every year, Samsung hits us with a budget tablet that is actually a pretty good buy, and this year is no different. Welcome guys. This is the Samsung Galaxy tab, an 8.4. This is the 2020 edition, I'm average tech guy and let's check this thing out. So when you actually go to open this device up, you're gonna notice, it's wrapped in that iconic Samsung cloth and then once you take the actual tablet out- and you start to explore that box a little more you're going to see that you get your charging brick you're going to have your USB type, a to USB type c cable, and then you get your instruction manuals as usual. There's also a sim card already built into here, and this thing takes the NATO sim.

So there are a lot of people out there who love numbers they like specs. So let's go ahead and get started with that. So this thing has an 8.4-inch screen. This tablet is actually LTE capable. If you can see right up top, you have the 4g signal right there, so 8.4 inches LTE, that's a check! That's a plus! This thing can have your service built into it, and it comes in at a decent price at right at 300 bucks. Now it's powered by a 1.8 gigahertz outscore processor. This is the Samsung Enos 7904.

It comes with three gigs of ram, and it has 32 gigabytes of storage built right into this device, and you have the option to add a memory card. That's up to 256 gigs right there on the side on the front you get a 5 megapixel shooter, which I normally don't take pictures with my tablet, but this tablet is so small, so compact, I may just catch myself. Taking pictures with this. Not only do you get that eight megapixel on the rear, you also get a live focus mode, not just on the front, but also on the rear of that camera, and then you get tons of different modes down across the bottom, and you can edit these modes as well right here. Take out what you don't want.

Add what you need. This 8.4 inch display has a resolution of 1200 by 1920, so you're going to get a decent picture just because, even though that resolution is the 1200 by 1920, it's so compact, you still get great visuals. I downloaded this HD picture online, and it basically shows up really well crisp, really clear on this device. This tablet runs Samsung's one UI, you're going to get tons of battery life. Out of this thing, five thousand William hours, you're, probably not gonna, kill this in a day, you're going to get great battery out of this.

It's 3g 4g compatible, and you have sensors on this tablet, as well as an accelerometer for when you're playing games with certain handles and things of that nature. So one drawback is: it only comes in this one color, this mocha uh brownish color, only comes in that color. So if you don't like that, color, oh well, you don't like this tablet, but you can always put a case on it, but we'll keep that in mind for future reference. This tablet also supports facial recognition, which is a big deal for a tablet of this caliber unlocked right. There open it up, and we're good to go now.

It has tons of security features. You can use the old school pen pattern or whatever, but I go with the facial features, and they work really well now. What is what's so good about this device? Well, this is probably one of the best budget, small, affordable compact tablets that you can get right now. This tablet is going to allow you to get your entertainment in it's going to allow you to get your videos in it's going to allow you to play your games, and this thing comes in handy, like I said, I have decent sized hands guys and I can just palm that thing right there. Now.

The real estate on this is very minimal. You get your USB type c down here. You get your speakers downward firing, but don't let those speakers fool you they pack a big punch on the side. Furthermore, you get your volume rocker, as well as your power button right up here. Your camera is right here on the back and then and then and then, once again you still get a dedicated, 3.5, millimeter headphone jack right. There microphone up top and then your sim tray as well as your memory card, is right there.

So with the screen is great quality, like I said, entertainment purposes, you're going to still be able to get that entertainment, and you're still going to be able to play those games. The speakers sound perfect and I'll. Let you hear those right now so, like I said, I got cases like crazy right here. I'm gonna push all this to the side. Connectivity and the LTE function work well on here.

Also, now this is going to be only with the Verizon network. That's the only way you can get this thing, so you got to have Verizon, that's one of the drawbacks, or you could just use it on the Wi-Fi, like I probably plan on doing, because my phone has a hotspot and I can just hook it up wherever I go, but this thing is great: it goes down in just about any bag. It's small! It's compact! Furthermore, it's going to be one of those things that you can basically just give to anyone. Now. This thing is not for the power user.

This is for the person who wants to get on the internet a little wants to check their emails. A little wants to watch a video sometimes wants to play a quick game from the app store and a person that actually does not have a lot of productivity in mind. Now granted you can be productive with this device, but most of the time, this small form factor is going to be for entertainment purposes. Now I did a review on the Samsung Galaxy tab, a 10-inch last year and a lot of people had a lot of questions about stylus. There are no styli that work on here.

I've tried third party stylus, they don't work. I've tried an s pen, it doesn't work. So no stylus is gonna work on here unless it's just a plain old school stylus with the little foam tip. That's what's gonna work with this, so I'm answering that question right now. No, the stylus third party will not work.

You just gotta buy a regular old, foamy stylus thing, that's what you're going to have to have. So all in all. I think that this device is a pretty good buy and for under the 300 price point, it's probably one of the best budget tablets right now that you can get your hands on, so hopefully this has been able to help someone out guys. I really trust in Samsung. Furthermore, I use Samsung products all the time and I actually go out and buy this stuff myself.

So any opinions that I give you no nobodies paid me for this stuff. This is just my opinion from me to you and to the average consumer. I think this is a great buy. This is going to be something that you can just give someone, and they'll be able to hang on to, and it's not one of those tablets. That's going to be slow and laggy.

If you're using this, you swipe up swipe down swipe up swipe down swipe up swipe down swipe over everything works, it's nice, it's fluid, it looks good feels good in the hands sounds good, and it has a great price tag as well. So hopefully this has been able to help someone out until next time be sure and give me a big thumbs up, and please subscribe average that guy out peace.
