Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus VS Galaxy A52 Camera & Speed Test By Osmani TechLab

Hey, what's up guys, I'm Usman in this video I'm going to compare the speed and the camera of the old flagship, Samsung Galaxy s9 plus versus new mid-range Samsung Galaxy a52, so you can get the idea that, should you buy the Galaxy S9 plus in 2021 or the galaxy a52? So for that let's begin the video. So first I am going to do speed test for that. I will restart both phones to see which one will boot up. First Galaxy S9 plus has axons 9810 chipsets and the galaxy a52 has snapdragon 720g and, as expected, burn win goes to the Galaxy S9 plus, so still old flagships are booting up faster than the new mid-range phones and the galaxy a52 took good time to start now. Here you can see there is no application running in the background. First, I'm going to open the settings and the Galaxy S9 plus loaded.

First now, let's open the phone application. I think both loaded at the same time or there was millisecond difference. So there is no score here for anyone now, let's open the camera and the Galaxy S9 plus loaded the camera first. Next is Facebook and the galaxy a42 loaded the Facebook first now I'm going to open the Snapchat and both phones loaded at the same time, so no score for anyone next Instagram here the winner is the Galaxy S9 plus. Next I am going to open YouTube, and here again the winner is the Galaxy S9 plus.

Now it's turn off twitter. Let's see surprisingly galaxy a52 loaded Twitter first now last is WhatsApp, and here again the galaxy a42 is winner in WhatsApp also. So this was the speed test. There is no big difference in the scores, but still the Galaxy S9 plus is winner. What do you say about this test? Please? Brightness of both phones, Galaxy S9 plus, is really more bright. Now, let's jump to the camera test. If I talk about the camera specifications, there is 12 megapixel wide, which is main camera of the Galaxy S9, plus, which I am going to compare with 64 megapixel wide, which is main camera of the galaxy a52. And then we have the 12 megapixel telephoto. On the Galaxy S9 plus, which is not available on the galaxy a52 and from the first shot you can see, there is huge difference in colors and the detail in both shots.

Galaxy a52, providing more impressive details with awesome colors, while the Galaxy S9 plus providing more warm tone and average details, and I saw the situation in most of the photos when I was comparing them here again. You can see the galaxy a52 shot is rich in details with awesome colors and in this shot, colors on the galaxy a52 are more close to reality. While again, there is warm tone on the galaxy, s9 plus, shot and same thing, you can observe in this shot. Daylight photos from the main camera of the galaxy a52 are very decent. Colors are good without going overboard, and here is the 2x zoom shot of both phones.

There are better details on the Galaxy S9 plus shot due to the telephoto, and what do you say about this? Shot? Colors and details are more awesome on the galaxy a52 and the galaxy a42 not only performing better here, but it also won when I compared its camera. Here is the big difference in details of these shots. Not only details, colors and the dynamic range is better on the galaxy. A52 dynamic range is wide on the galaxy a52.

If I compare it with the Galaxy S9 plus, let's see more shots, and you can see the difference in these shots here. You can also see the colors of the wall is little over saturated on the galaxy a52 shot, but still it's very fine and looking better than the Galaxy S9 plus shot, and here are my photos and I took these shots under the shelter not in the sunlight, but you can judge the quality again more warm tone on the Galaxy S9 plus shot even under the shelter, and here next photos in the sunlight and, in my opinion, galaxy a42 is lot better and the winner also. That's why it's more zoomed, no doubt edge. Detection is good on the Galaxy S9 plus, but look at the difference in details and colors, and here are some other portrait shots.

You can see the difference in the colors and this last one detail is more impressive and colors are more close to the reality of the galaxy a52 shot. And here are the few portrait shots in low light again. Details are perfect of the galaxy a52 shot, while the patterns of the glass are mostly washed off of the Galaxy S9 plus shot, and here is the second shot, and now it's time for the videos we can record videos on the 1080p at 30 and 60 fps on both phones, but 4k at 60fps is only available on the Galaxy S9 plus, while on the galaxy a52 only 4k at 30 fps available in videos. I also observed more warm tone on the Galaxy S9 plus forages, and here I recorded my videos in the sunlight. You can observe huge difference.

I recorded in 4k at 30 fps, and now I recorded these videos under shelter, and you can see the condition of the colors are almost same on the Galaxy S9 plus forages. What do you say about it? Please? So, overall I can say in videos the winner is the galaxy a52 and at last here are the selfies one thing I can say that the Galaxy S9 plus didn't disappoint me in the selfies. Both phones provided me really impressive, selfies, and thankfully I saw no extra warm tone on the front camera of the Galaxy S9 plus and even in the sunlight, both performed awesome and here are the portrait selfies both provided good edge detection, but I saw little issues on the Galaxy S9 plus here. You can see few errors in the edge detection on the Galaxy S9 plus shots, but overall both phones provided really decent selfies, and here are the few selfies in the low light galaxy, s9, plus giving blurry selfies in low light, while the galaxy a52 shots are more clear.

So this was the camera test between the Samsung Galaxy a52 and the Galaxy S9 plus, and now it's time for the final thoughts. In my opinion, galaxy a52 is winner in this camera test, due to better detail, colors and dynamic range in photos and due to good colors and focus the galaxy a42 is also winner in the videos, but at the end this is my opinion.
