Hey everyone RJ here welcome back to the channel, and today I'll be doing a speed test comparison between the OnePlus word n10 5g and the TCL 105g UW, okay. So this here is a speed test that I'm excited to see these are kind of similar. To be honest, I mean you got one plus here you got TCL over here: the TCO 10 5g UW man. These names uh was the cheapest 5g phone to date until the OnePlus showed up okay coming in at 100 cheaper. So you know if you want the TCL you're going to pay 399 dollars well, you can buy the one plus for 299 dollars now that don't include discounts and port ends, and this that and the other also the TCL is exclusive to Verizon. Unfortunately, but you should be able to get the phone unlocked.
You know by the Verizon terms and all that kind of stuff, so it should be able to work on T-Mobile and all those carriers, so uh yeah very excited to do this test. So let's go ahead right now and do the boot up test here in three two ones. Now all right, TCL one plus there. I believe that the screen sizes on these phones are very similar. I know a 6.49 inch here on the OnePlus. Furthermore, I think it's 6.53 here on the TCL so very similar, but the TCL wow that powered on pretty quick got the OnePlus animation going on here. So we'll yeah we'll just see how much longer it takes to actually power up as opposed to the TCL so yeah there you go TCL by landslide, okay, so here we are at the app opening page.
Now, I'm going to give you just a few basic specs here now the OnePlus word n105g runs the Qualcomm snapdragon 690 processors, with 6 gigabytes of ram and 128 gigabytes of storage. The TCO 105g UW runs the Qualcomm snapdragon 765 g, with 6 gigabytes of ram and 128 gigabytes of onboard storage. Both of them have expendable SD card slots and all that kind of good stuff going on there. That's basically all you need to do right now for this speed test. So if you want to see a comparison between two devices more in depth, let me know down below in the comment section, and we'll see what we can do there.
So right now, let's check out a few geek bench five scores. Okay, so, as you can see here, the OnePlus word n105g got a single core score of 607 and a multi-core score of 1864. The TCO 10 5g UW got a single core of 618 and a multicore of 1917, so very close there in the single core and really not that much difference there in the multi-core. Both are running android version 10, so we're good to go there. Let's go ahead and close out all of these apps, and we'll get started in with this test.
Starting now, now was the TCL by a little, let's go into YouTube, and that was, I think, the TCL. By a little their calculator. I think that was the one plus let's go into the calendar, and I believe that was the TCL. Let's go into the clock and that's about even from what I could see. Let's go into target and the OnePlus barely had it, but so close Amazon shopping, and that was the TCL.
Let's go into Instagram. That was the TCL. Let's go into the play store and I want to say that was pretty even the time everything kind of stopped there. So very close. Let's go into prime video that was the TCL.
Let's go into Snapchat TCL, I think, was barely a bit faster there, let's go into twitter and that's about even let's go into Netflix. That was the one plus. Let's go into temple run two now.765 g is kind of showing its speed a little there, but still not by very much just a couple of seconds, not much of a big deal there. Let's go back home, go into dead trigger, so that was the TCL by just a little. Let's go back home, and we'll open up PUBG mobile, so you're, seeing there I mean 765 g 60, gigabytes of ram snapdragon, 690, six gigabytes of ram and um they're doing very good here, and both of them are performing very well uh, let's just see which one actually gets here.
First uh it's going to be the TCL uh, but not by much. If what for them x is there it'd have been within like a second or two, so I mean very close. Both phones are very good performing phones, uh, but you do see that 765 g now, I think, they're the 690g as well. However, the OnePlus does not have the g on the 690, so uh yeah. It does have a game mode, as you might see it popped up there a while ago, that's just on by default, so uh yeah.
Let's go ahead right now and run through some reloads or some ram management. Let's see if there's any reloads on any of these apps. Now I don't spend the same exact time, don't matter just checking for reload, so starting here with pub g and of course, both here were open, just okay go in the dead trigger and both were open there as well. Let's go into temple, run 2 and had to reload on the TCL. Let's go into Netflix and I reload there again on the TCL.
Let's go into twitter. Okay, both were open. Let's go into Snapchat we're good to go there. Prime video play store, we're good Instagram, we're good Amazon yep target had to reload on the TCL clock. Both were open calendar both were good to go calculator a bit of a reload on the TCL YouTube reload on the TCL and the bible I reload on the TCL.
Now you can do these tests. I could do this test again and have more reloads and have less reloads like I say you know 16 apps. In the background, I think it all depends on what mood it's in. To be honest with you, because I've done this test several times just on my own, and I've gone was like one reload and no reloads okay to where I've had a couple of reloads and three four five reloads. I think it just kind of all depends on sometimes, so I think it depends on the app depends on the stuff changes or whatever the case may be.
So don't be surprised if you got to wait a half a second a quarter of a second for an app to reload. I think we kind of got to that got there to you know where you got to have 12 gigabytes of ram, since you get likes of ram in order to for no honestly, who cares if you got to wait a quarter to half a second for an app to reload? It's not a big deal, so you know both of these phones here are very powerful. Both of them can hang with some higher end phones, if you will some more expensive phones, but there was a test. So let me know down below in the comment section what you all think of both of these devices, which one would you all pick up if you all had a choice. I like to know myself a little informative in any way hit that like button.
Any questions, of course leave it down below if you're new around here, consider, subscribing and clicking that bell for future. Videos like this and more I'd be appreciated. You all have a good, and thanks for watching, hey everyone. RJ here, welcome back to the channel, and today I'll be doing a speed test between the OnePlus word n105g and the TCL 10, something another. Hey everyone, hey everyone, RJ here, welcome back to the channel, and today I'll be doing a speed test comparison between the OnePlus word n10 5g and the tcl10 uh.
I can't get my words right: okay,.
