Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G Unboxing and Hands On || Flagship Specs on a Budget ? || Value for Money

What's up everybody welcome back to another video today, I'm very excited to bring you guys, the new Samsung Galaxy x20 Fe. Yes, guys the fan edition it's not yet launched in the market, it's going to be available for regular customers from 2nd of October, but today I have it exclusively for all my viewers. So I'm going to unbox it in front of you and show you all the quirks and features of this latest smartphone from Samsung. If you have not yet subscribed to my channel, please do subscribe and hit the bell notification bell icon so that as soon as I upload a new video you get notified so guys, let's get started. The box of the s20 Fe is pretty similar to other galaxy models on the bottom. It says a 5g version and the IMEI number, and it's a cloud lavender version with six gigs of ram and 128 gigabytes of storage and on the back side it says what all they are in within the box which we are going to see in a moment.

Now, as we open the box, we get to see the main phone and, on the other side of the box, we have another small box which has the sim ejector pin, which is very important to insert the sim card in your phone once you open inside you get a bunch of documentation like quick reference guide and all other warranty information. So let's keep this aside for now and focus on the main device and what all other there in the box. So next is the phone. So once we keep the phone aside in the box, you get the sim card. Since this is a contract locked phone, we get the sim card along with the box.

If it's an unlocked one, you will not be getting this in your box, mine's a T-Mobile locked version. So next you get is the charger. This phone supports, 25 watts fast charging, but this is not a 25 watt charger. You need to buy that separately. Next is the USB type, a to type c converter, which you need for charging the phone? Surprisingly enough, there are no headphones provided within the box, as there is no 3.5 millimeter jack present move our focus back to the device on the back side of the device it's covered with a glass stick, copper, which is a combination of glass and plastic, feels less premium compared to glass, but more shutter resistance. Obviously- and it comes with a three camera setup, where there are two 12 megapixel ultra-wide and wide lens, and an 8 megapixel telephoto lens on the bottom of the device you have the speaker grill, then the USB type-c port and a primary microphone on the front side of the device it's covered with a 6.5 inch, full HD display with 120 hertz, refresh rate on the right side. You have the power on off button and the volume rocker buttons are pretty solid and feels very click, and as we move to the front, there is a 32 megapixel, selfie camera, which is fast in his best in his class.

Obviously I haven't seen a selfie camera 32 megapixels in any other Samsung phone before, which is definitely a plus top side of the device. You have a hybrid sim tray, along with a secondary noise cancellation, microphone on the left side, there are no buttons present, it's very clean, there's, no more Bixby buttons present in any of the Samsung Galaxy phones, the back side, even though it's made of plastic, but it still feels pretty premium. Personally speaking, I don't like glass back because it shatters very quickly. So, let's power up the device see this from inside the Samsung Galaxy s20 fan edition comes in both 4g LTE and 5g bands. If you are buying the 4g version, it will most probably be powered by the Samsung's in-house Enos 990 chipsets.

But if you decide to go for the 5g variant, no matter which part of the world you are, you will always get the snapdragon 865 chipsets. This comes in both 6 GB and 128 GB variant and 8 gigs 256 gigs configuration all. This comes with a powerful 45 William hour battery, which should comfortably last for a day of heavy usage. I specifically like the battery life of this phone as the competition at this price point, such as the OnePlus 8 or the iPhone 11 comes with a much smaller battery software wise. This phone comes preloaded with the latest android version 10.

On top, you get the Samsung's latest one UI 2.0, as always, Samsung always loads up their phone with lots of bloatware, which you can always remove on your own. If you decide to do so, as you can see here out of the 128 gigs of onboard storage, you get only 100 gigs usable for the user, but if you are one of those who prefer to keep everything on the phone, then this phone also allows you to expand the memory size with external memory chip up to one terabyte. I personally feel six gigs is a little bummer. Eight gigs variant of ram would have been perfect, but I am not sure for some unknown reason. The eight gigs variant is not available in the North American market by the way it's nice of Samsung to pre-install the screen with a screen guard, especially since the display is having only gorilla glass, 3 protection, which is more prone to scratches compared to gorilla glass 6, which most of the premium phones comes with these days and also the wrapping continues to the steel frame as well, which is pretty nice at this price point.

As always, the display is very, very good. Colors are vivid and the added 120 hertz, refresh rate sets it apart from the competition quickly move on to the camera department. This phone inherits lots of nice features from the more premium note 20 ultra or the Samsung s20 ultra, such as the insane zooming capabilities. This one offers up to 30 x, optical zoom, but honestly, do we need that much zoom? I don't see much use of that. Much zoom in a smartphone camera photos are very bright and colors are vivid in the bright daylight nighttime.

Shots are also pretty good. As this one does. Some soft sweat trick to bump up the ISO in the low lights. The ultra-wide lens is so wide that sometimes it feels like a fish eye overall. I am quite happy with the camera performance, especially at this price point.

Overall, I feel Samsung has hit a sweet spot here with this fan edition s20, with some premium features borrowed from the flagship at the competitive price point. The time of the release is also significant, since Apple is going to announce its latest bunch of iPhones pretty soon so guys. This was my unboxing and first impression of the Samsung Galaxy s20 Fe. If you appreciate my effort to bring the latest device for you, guys show your support by liking. This video and subscribing to my channel till next time stay safe, stay, healthy, and I'll.

See you around.
