What's up guys, x110 here today, I want to talk to you guys about the Samsung Galaxy s20 fan edition 5g. Oh, that was anyways. Here are the specs. As we take a look at the phone, it is not made out of glass. Nope Samsung had to make some cuts here and there to make it affordable. So they decided polycarbonate would be a much cheaper option now.
The good thing is, the phone doesn't feel cheap by any means it feels light, but good and the colors are really, really good. I got the cloud white version, but you can pick up any color. You, like other colors, include lavender, mint, navy, white red orange, I'm sure the color for everyone taking a look at the phone itself. It has a matte finish, so it's not a fingerprint magnet. The phone has a traditional Samsung look statically, designed with that galaxy, look in mind, no buttons on the left, side, volume and power on the right side.
When I first heard about the fingerprint I didn't know what to expect to be honest with you, I had many doubts, but after using it, I can tell you that it's fast and accurate, as it should be right out of the box. The software the phone comes with is android 10, with one UI 2.5 with the September security patch Samsung said they will support the phone for three years. I have to see it to believe it. One UI is definitely a step forward for Samsung, as it has a much pleasant, modern feel to it. Having said that, Samsung's still up to their old tricks of including so much bloatware just look.
We not only get all of google apps installed. We also get Samsung's apps, and they even throw in Microsoft's apps as well sure you can uninstall them, but why does Samsung feel the need to do this? I'm just baffled as you are, as for the display Samsung is the best at making sleds hands down, even with the lower resolution 1080 by 2400, the colors are very vivid and vibrant. The 120 hertz makes everything feel so buttery smooth. Don't forget, this is not a flagship phone. We do have a PPI of 407, so reading text looks perfect.
First thing I notice is: the screen is not a curved one. Instead, we get a flat string. So no accidental touches here. I personally like both. If you prefer a flat, then this is the phone for you, AKG tune the sound and with Dolby's apples.
Everything sounds great, so whether you're watching a movie or listening to music or even gaming, you're gonna love how this phone sounds. The snapdragon 865 is a stud. It does everyday tasks without breaking the sweat. When it comes to gaming, everything I played down at the highest standards with no lag or even the phone getting too hot to handle. When it came to battery the 4500 William was very modest for a phone with a high refresh rate.
I would typically get about five and a half hour screen on time, but to be honest with you, I never ran out of juice. I always made it home with only 15 left, a feature that is really cool. Is wireless charging just putting your phone on the charging pad and just forgetting overnight is quite pleasant. The same can be said when you need to charge your peripheral and reverse wireless works, the same magic when you need it. The camera on this phone is great.
We get a front face, 32 megapixels, for your selfies and on the back we get a 12 megapixel wide and a 12 megapixel ultra-wide and an 8 megapixel telephoto quality is what you expect from a Samsung phone. So this one is no slouch pictures come out. Great 4k video is awesome. Low light is also okay, but I'm happy with the overall performance of the camera. As far as calls are concerned, I didn't have any complaints in this department.
Everyone said it sounded great. The LTE 5g both had no issues. Since my carry has a strong footprint. I get good coverage everywhere so guys. If you need to upgrade without breaking the bank, then this phone is from you.
It checks all the flagship features, including ip68. You get all the bells and whistles in a great value package. This is a good phone, but if you want to wait for something better, I heard the OnePlus 18 and the pixel 5 are just around the corner. You might want to wait for those phones, but Samsung did a hell of a job with this phone OnePlus has to come out swinging to compete, while the pixel has always had a great camera and that practically saves it, but we'll see how it goes when those phones come out. As far as my techie people are concerned, this one ain't for us: you can't unlock the bootloader, so you know what that means.
No custom ROM. So let's wait for something better to come along. I highly recommend anyone not want to spend a lot of money on the next phone to really consider the s20 fan edition. So many carriers right now have great deals going on, take advantage and trade in your old phone, but guys I would really appreciate if you liked the video or subscribe as that helps me know what kind of content to bring you and as always, thanks for everything, and I'll see you guys in the next video bye.
