iPhone 11 Pro vs. iPhone 12 vs. iPhone 12 Pro Performance Comparison (S4-E5)

This video is sponsored by cell cashier. com; they compare iPhone prices on the internet and give you their instant quote and the most cash for your iPhone, hey guys. This is ed with aquarium, as I promised in the last video, we are now going to start looking at how the iPhone 12 lineup compares to the 11 lineup. Specifically in this video, we will look at objective, benchmark scores produced by an 11 pro at 12 and a 12 pro while 12 is no rival for an 11 pro directly. I'm still throwing it into this video to see how it may differ from a 12 pro in the next video we'll show you how all three camera modules compare as well, so without a further ado. Let's look at the geek bench 5 results of note is that I won't be running to compute part of the benchmark, because that will be covered to some extent with the performance test mobile app later in this video, but for the CPU score, we can clearly see the disparity of a one year.

Technology leads now, first, a 12 and a 12 pro. Their results are almost identical. We will disregard the subtle difference of both the single and the multi-core score difference. They both support, apple's a14 bi-new processor, and it is truly impressive what they are both capable of on another hand, you have the 11 pro on your left, lagging behind by 256 single core points and 679 points in a multi-core score test. This is hardly a surprise, because iPhone 11 Pro is driven by an a13 bionic processor that was released last year on another hand, we can visualize how well the internals are paired together inside the chassis by running into the benchmark.

There is absolutely no visual difference in performance and how crisp the image is. While 11pro may look weaker on paper visually, it is no sloth and still remains a very competitive handset. In fact, what we arrived at in this test is approximately a 20 percent, poorer performance of an iPhone 11 Pro when compared to this year's rival iPhone 12 Pro the numerical variants nears a solid 90 000 points worth of a one year, technology progress. But this does prove a point. Unless your day involves a lot of gaming, you will be very unlikely to see any difference in visual performance across the two generations.

Similarly, this is one of the reasons why some mobile tech giants will choose in favor of less powerful CPUs, because they are more than capable for everyday tasks, and they help to offset the cost and now to the performance test mobile, a very neat app to specifically test some parameters not explicitly shown by some other famous apps, and I'm going to make a couple of points here. First, your CPU score is almost identical between the 12 and the 12 pro. However, you may recall from geek bench that their CPU scores varied slightly, but let's look at the storage write speed. This is where some difference in an tutu and geek bench results comes from for a 12 and a 12 pro the storage write. Speed is again approximately 15 to 20 percent different between the two, but this is where the technology really took a jump forward in one year, the storage ride, speed of an iPhone 11 Pro is only megabytes per second, which is roughly 15 percent of what the 12 lineup has to offer.

If I had to state the obvious, then the 11 pro is definitely losing competition to its younger brothers. YouTube test is simple, yet indicative of what we just discussed, while the difference may be subtle on day-to-day tasks. This is very easily seen and observed here, and it will take you a second later to open your favorite channel's YouTube video. Is it crucial? I bet you that those with an 11 pro don't even think about it. Finally, a simple web browser task, such as opening a website, will show you that eleven pro still handles this task very well on opening of weather.

com. It comes right up on all three phones. I mentioned this in my previous videos that weather. com is overloaded with scripts ads and a myriad of other things that make it take a while to pull up even on a powerful desktop computer. It is now time to make the verdict- and this is probably a tougher judgment- called make on one hand.

Eleven pro is still as solid of a performer as one could wish for, but on another hand, seeing a much lower storage rate speed that is only 15 of what the 12 lineup has to offer. I start second guessing what the recommendation would be. The answer lies in the cost versus benefit, though, what will you do with a 12 that you could not do with an 11 pro? That's a better question to ask think about the intuitive benchmark test. We saw no difference in visual performance and when you apply the cost of a brand new 12 pro, then we get an obvious answer. So for day-to-day tasks don't buy the 12 because it is still an expensive handset, but if you are a geek, and you just must have that new iPhone, I say: go for it if not for a more expensive 12 pro, but at least a 12.
