SAMSUNG GALAXY A72 REVIEW [PROS & CONS] By Unbox PH

Hey everyone, it's me all, and today we'll be talking about the Samsung Galaxy a72. Now the big question here is: what are the pros and cons of this trendy phone? Is the a72 a great premium mid-range unit from Samsung? Let's go over everything from the design, specs performance and all the details about this unit and find out if this phone is for you, let's start off with the unboxing, as you guys can see, the box itself is pretty straight forward: a simple white box with the image of the phone in front, along with the Samsung branding on top and on the side of the box. It also includes the usual documentation and sim ejector pin, which are very important, even though we may not read it. Let's set it aside for now, of course, it has the phone. That's why we're here, but we'll get to that in a bit. It comes with a free jelly case, an USB type-c cable and a 25 watt charger.

Sadly, there are no earphones included in this box, but seeing how they're starting to sell these things separately, and it's becoming a new norm with new phones. I'm just glad they gave us a charger along with it going over the phone design. We got the awesome blue variant. Awesome screen, awesome, camera long, lasting battery life, okay, anyways, the back is made out of plastic, which makes the device feel more lightweight and slightly easy for single-handed use and instead of the usual glossy finish, they changed it to a frosted matte finish with the Samsung logo at the bottom. The matte finish feels really smooth for me and because of that, you guys don't have to worry about fingerprints, smudges or dust.

I noticed that Samsung got rid of its usual geometric patterns on this one, and they switched it to a more simple and plain design, which I find very sleek, and it almost reminds me of an iPhone the camera bump on the a72 blends in very well with the back panel to keep that minimalistic style and also did I mention that this has an ip67 rating, which means it's water and dust resistant. It's safe to say you guys, can definitely live life on edge with this phone on the top. You can find the sim tray. The comes with a 256 gigabyte storage and a hybrid sim tray, which means it has the option to have two sim cards or one sim card and one micro SD card to expand storage. One side is played in simple and on the other side, you can see the volume and power button on the bottom.

We have the earphone jack, the charging port and the speakers. Here's a good pro this time around Samsung gave the a72 stereo speakers, which means the top earpiece and the bottom speakers both work together to produce more volume and better quality audio. You can listen to it right here right before the stars. Now, let's talk about display, the a72 has a 6.7 inch, full HD super AMOLED, infinity o display where you can really enjoy watching Netflix and high quality videos in the best colors and sharpness. The display can go ample bright, so you don't have to worry about the brightness even outdoors, but given our country's current situation, please stay indoors, and please stay safe.

Everyone with a 90 hertz refresh rate. It makes the touch and scroll experience really smooth, and it also comes with an accurate, in-display fingerprint scanner. However, I did mention that there are no earphones in this box, so that's quite a bummer, because those are more additional expenses that you have to deal with for the camera. The galaxy a72 has a 64 megapixel main camera that has an is or an optical image stabilizer, which is great for stable video recording, even at 4k. It also has a 12 megapixel, ultra-wide angle, camera that has less distortion and better processed photos.

It also has a 5 megapixel macro camera and the 8 megapixel telephoto camera is a useful upgrade on the a72 on the front. Furthermore, it has the 32 megapixel selfie camera that produces natural, looking selfies without the over processed. Look. Let's talk about performance. The a72 runs on a snapdragon, 720 g processor and 8gb of ram.

The one UI 3.1 based off android 11, works very smoothly with the specs now on daily use. It runs smoothly, and I didn't experience any lag. However, when I played gen shin, which is a graphics heavy game, that's when things started to get stingy and the frame drops were very noticeable, but it eventually smoothened out when I tweaked the settings a bit, so I do suggest playing in lower settings for smooth and lag free gameplay. Our PC mark battery test showed a battery life of 16 and a half hours which is pretty decent, considering its size, it's very thin. The battery result shows that we have one day and a half of battery life with moderate usage, which means you can enjoy long hours of Netflix and viewing content with its great display without the worry of charging your phone. The Samsung Galaxy a72 has an awesome, screen, awesome, camera and long-lasting battery life. It might be a little pricey based on specs on the paper, but keep in mind that you are getting Samsung's quality and consistency.
