Hey guys what is up it's me robin, and today I'm doing an unboxing video of the Samsung Galaxy a71. Now I am super psyched, because I've been using a really shitty phone for the last few months. Since my last one went for a swim in the pool, it was the Huawei y5 lite, and let me tell you that if I end up in hell all that they will need to do is hand me that phone and that will be all the torture that I will need. It was a nightmare, but back to happier things now that I have my Samsung Galaxy a71. I'm sure that my life will be a lot better. I mean I do think that that phone probably taught me some valuable lessons in like patience and stuff, but let's be real ain't.
Nobody got time for that, so it retails for about nine and a half thousand rand, I'm in South Africa. So obviously that price will vary with whatever country you're in the colors it comes in, are prism, crush black prism, brush silver prism, crush blue and prism, crushed pink, so dramatic. I got the phone in black because I'm not really concerned with like what color it is just what it can do so without any further ado. Let's get down to unboxing. Please excuse my dirty knife.
It's nothing gross! It's! Furthermore, it's just reason I promise. Now these are the main selling points. I guess infinity. Oh display, quad camera and superfast charging come on man, don't be shy, get out there. We go okay, there's the thingy for getting out the SD card tray! Oh, yeah! I got a phone case with it.
That's awesome here are the earphones nice that they're also black, my other phones have been black but with white cables and the white cables always end up. Looking like gray and nasty here, they are they've got the volume adjusting and song skipping buttons. Here. The cable seems an okay length. It's 1.2 meters. It could be slightly longer, but it's fine.
If your phone is just in your pocket, while you're listening to music, you don't want to get tangled in them. Anyway. Here's the charging cable, it's an USB superfast charging is 25 watts, and it's supposed to charge in one hour and 20 minutes. The cable is a meter long, which is short. I wish it was longer.
I hate having to put your stand near a plug while my phone is charging because it can't reach the couch or the bed, and god forbid. Furthermore, I just accept that time as a break from my phone and go do something else, while it charges like just being present at the moment like who does that it's got a plastic bag which I like, because it won't shatter as easily as the glass-backed phones do. The glass is gorilla glass. The main camera is 64 megapixels and shoots wide. The second one is 12 megapixels for ultrawide and the other two are five megapixels for macro and depth.
It's got a LED flash, and it takes panorama and HDR or that's high dynamic range, which gives us that nice color and contrast in photos the video can be at 4k at 30 frames per second. The selfie camera is also perfect at 32 megapixels and takes 1080p video at 30 frames per. Second, it's got a 3.5 millimeter, sound jack and, like I mentioned before, it's USB, the phone dimensions are 163.6 by 76 by 7.7 millimeters, and the display is 1080 by 2400 pixels at a 20 by 9 ratio. It's running on the android 10 operating system and a snapdragon processor, okay, I'm going to put in the sim card and the SD card, both very tiny, and I actually always have problems with these, because I'm quite clumsy I hate this always feel like I'm going to break it. Oh, oh father! Please, hello! Come on! Yes! There we go there.
We go. Let's turn it back on okay. Here we are take a look at this beautiful thing: uh, there's the fingerprint sensor. Yes, queen the phone I was using now before this one um, the Wi-Fi light. It didn't have a fingerprint sensor and it was so lame having to type in my password every time it was so annoying.
So the camera is really nice and that's part of the reason why I got this especially for video, real video size 16 by 9 19 20 by 1080 front video size. So you can change the resolution here too, which is super cool. You can get some pretty high resolutions, I'm okay with that for now, and you can even do a one by one, but that doesn't support video stabilization, but that's fine if it's sitting on a tripod or something I don't need that anyway, let's go back to 16x9 for now front video size, 1920x1080, that's also very cool for the front video stabilization. I mean I would only keep that on if I was actually holding my phone. But if I was recording videos with a tripod, then I would turn that off night panorama macro: let's do a macro.
Let's look at my knife macro. Oh, you can't see it. Okay macro seems pretty macro. I have to take a picture of a plant or something to get the full effect of it. Okay.
So this is the front facing camera, it's UHD, which is 3840 by 2160. I can also change it to just normal HD, but you can just see from the quality of this thing. It's really awesome. I'm super psyched, obviously pretty much anything would look better than what I previously had, but this is objectively awesome. Okay, this video is at full UHD um.
It's got no video effects on, and it's got video stabilization. You can kind of tell with the stabilization in some areas. This is without the stabilization which personally I prefer, because with the stabilization you do kind of get areas where there's some warping and stuff where it tries to make up. For you know a camera shake and stuff like that. It's really great quality, though love it.
So that's my unboxing. I hope you guys enjoyed it, and you got to live vicariously through me for a little while um thanks for being with me.
