Samsung Galaxy A70 | 2 Week Review

Alright folks welcome back to another video of mange, so welcome to a 2 week, review of the Samsung Galaxy, a 70, there's no secret. That I've been seriously impressed with this device, and today we're going to run down two weeks of using this I'll focus on battery, because this is something that a lot of people wanted an update on, obviously we'll touch on cameras and its overall experience too. So, let's get into this video, so the galaxy 870 comes in with a six point: seven inch 1080p display it's a Super AMOLED, really nice very immersive. There's a lot to like about this display and I think that a person using this is going to really enjoy this full screen effect. It does have a little cutout at the top for the front camera. But, honestly you, you won't even notice that at least I don't notice that, after using this for two weeks, it's been fantastic, no issues whatsoever, and I just don't have any quarrels with it.

It's very bright, very vivid. It gets very bright too, as you can see there, but the brightness isn't one of its strong suits. Furthermore, it could be brighter, I would say, but it just depends on where you're at outside and sunlight. Furthermore, it gets a decently bright you'll, be able to see the device with no issues, so I, don't think you'll run into any serious problems, but the display is absolutely gorgeous. That is the first thing that people see when they pick up this device, and it's not a very big phone either, and we got my pixel here.

It's not a very big phone, as you can see, so. The version has six gigs of RAM and 128. Gigs of storage I also got a 128 gig card class 10 in the Box free with this purchase as well. So that's a huge plus. Now there is an 8 gig version of this phone I.

Don't think the person will actually need 8 gigs of RAM with this device. A couple with the Snapdragon 675 is actually really impressive. The performance on the device is fast, you know, there 's's nothing down, I haven't experienced any lag or anything like that. It's just been an overall good experience and I, don't anticipate having any like I haven't, had any app crashes, nothing of that sort over the last two weeks of using this device. So the six gigs of ram couple with the snapdragon 675, it's doing its doing fantastic I, don't I, don't think I'm going to have any issues with it either.

In the long run. Some people are always concerned about some people say: Samsung phones lag over time. I have yet to experience that, but any phone can lag or a time I mean the eldest of yes. This is going to slow down, because you know the tech inside will get a little dated, and it'll slow down. But overall this should be a very positive experience.

I did my workout. This should be a very positive experience down the line. I'm assuming because I'm gonna hold on sis advice, I mean it was only three hundred and forty-eight dollars for me, and it's a will pack device for that. I really think it's a good buy so anyway, processor performance, RAM management, is definitely fine. Furthermore, I haven't had any problems with brand management.

Furthermore, I ran a lot of stuff, as you can see in the background there very seldom do I close out everything I, just let it flow, and I've played games. Furthermore, I did a very long video I game for about 25 minutes to 24 minutes straight through, and I recorded for you. So if you haven't seen that video be sure to check it out, the phone doesn't heat up very much at all. I didn't experience any kind of throttling or anything like that, and I played the games that some people wanted me to play, especially the game. Pub gee people always wondering about that.

Will it play that, so this processor handles itself very well, it handles itself very well. You should not have a problem with this processor bogging down the device at all I. Just don't think you're going to have any issues with this. The average consumer would love this device for a daily driver, because it's got everything pretty much that you possibly could need so display performance and everything is really, really good. Now, let's talk about something, that's important to you guys, which is battery life.

This phone has a 4,500 million power battery life, a battery inside, and I'm going to go into some scrub and taking screenshots of the battery, and it's its pretty impressive overall I'm getting C on this. One I had 20, basically 22 hours and I had 11 11 min of intent, left 6 hours of screen on time and almost 22 I got more than 22 on there, but still that's that's very impressive and find another one. Here, I was taking some screenshots, here's one where I was at 52% with 13 hours, and he said: I had 13 hours and had three hours of screen on time. So, overall the battery on here it's going to get you through a day. Now, to my surprise, I turned on the dark theme I end up, enabling the dark theme throughout the device to help, because in another video I talked about it not having the best standby time and I stand firm on that it doesn't have the best stand on time for such a big battery.

But again that could just be an app or something that I have on here. That I'm. Just it's just running around in the back of the device because of 4500 William hour battery. We should really pull you through a day or two I've got other phones that have smaller batteries but like again, I compared to the pixel and the pixels standby time is much better, but it could also be Samsung's UI. That's pulling a lot of resources and really bogging this phone down.

That could be what it is. Folks, I, don't know, I don't know, but the standby time is just not it sips a lot more battery than I feel like it should for such a 45, a big battery and that's obviously, something going on with the UI or an app or something like that, or it could just be. My settings. I do have a lot of things synced on this phone, but I also have a lot of things synced on every other phone. So that's a mystery to me.

Maybe I'll do a factory reset and start fresh and manually enter everything and me. Don't know. I have no problem doing that. But you know this is a good device for battery you'll. Definitely get five and a half to six and a half hours of screen on time.

Now that's my usage. Your usage will be completely different more than likely because you probably won't have the same apps I have, and you definitely will not have all the email accounts and everything syncing that I have I leave sync on, and it is syncing 24/7. There's. There are notifications coming in boom boom every few seconds. There's a notification for me.

So this phone, you know just doesn't handle it the best, but it's still got decent screen on time and I can appreciate that, especially when you start to again consider the price of the device is I got it for only three hundred and forty-eight bucks, and that is just a huge plus. Now a lot of people have asked I'm gonna talk about the network, some of you guys. Some people come to videos, and they just don't watch the videos. They start asking questions immediately without watching the video, or they skip through the video. So I'm gonna address this one last time in this full review of what 2-week review.

As this phone gets complete LTE for the US for where I live now the bands are pretty simple. It's. This is the global version. If you look online, you won't see like. If you look on GSM arena, you probably won't see the bands for T-Mobile and on there, but I'm using this on T-Mobile USA.

So it works on it's gonna work on cricket, any US provider. They use a SIM card. This phone should work for you with LTE simple. As that this phone does not work on Sprint Boost, Mobile, CDN carriers. It does not work for you all right.

That is, the cut-and-dry I get full LTE I haven't had any issues I one time, I did drop two 3G, and then I went back to SPA+ and then back to LTE, I, wasn't a dead zone or something like that, but that happens with my other devices in that same area, so I haven't had any problems with data or anything like that speeds on this are a little slower than I would like to you know they don't compare because. Remember this phone isn't officially made for the US. So yes, I can get 4050 down, but in some areas I'm getting 4050 down on this phone I could possibly get you know 70 or 80 on another phone, that's technically made for the US. So that's to be expected, but 10 down on this phone is you can appreciate that because that's really all you need to stream. So the network on here folks, you can take your own chance on buying this phone and that's your choice.

I'm not gonna, guarantee I can't guarantee that you're going to get LTE everywhere. I'm telling you, though, pretty much everybody in the US that I know that has this phone gets full LTE and I asked ahead of time to ask pristine tech aside. You know you didn't really mention the bands in your video. Did you do you get LTE chat boom J, get it you'll love it? You get foil to eat and he was correct. Now, let's talk about the model real fast I said the model in another video.

You know you had there in somebody someone's asking me why I won't post a link to where I got mine, listen, I'm, not getting any Commission or anything. This came from eBay, so every time I boost sales for a person online they're, not giving me anything, so I'm not gonna, promote this person. I, don't know the seller. I just jumped online found it for 348 folks go look online I mean don't it's surprising to me how quote-unquote lazy some people are if I'm telling you the model number and where I got it from there's, not that very there's not very many on eBay and all the ones on eBay get LTE for us pretty much that I've seen, but I've told you guys don't buy it from eBay, buy it from a much more reliable source which is B&H photo. How lazy can you be not to just go to be a niche photo and look, and edit yourself you'll be able to see the bands you'll see everything, and they're, giving you three months of cell phone service so folks this is the 705 MDS.

Don't worry about that, though go to BNP, and you can buy this exact phone. The fact that I didn't get my from there I've said it before I just didn't know: BNP was selling it at the time, so yeah pay, 369 or whatever the price is at B&H and get you three months of cell phone service for free folks. That is what I recommend I, don't recommend going to eBay like I did and getting it I think pristine tech pay 400 for his. He got it on Amazon, though because he wanted it in one to two days or whatever. Every you do, your own research folks, you can't hold me accountable for you buying a phone or not buying a phone, or you've got to do your own research I'm, just providing the platform for you to get your feet wet.

You do the rest of the work yourself. That is, that on the LTE bands and the models and all that crap and where I got it from that's that the phone works in the US, and I've explained it now, let's jump over to plugging into it what a headphone jacks. So this one has a headphone jack. The sound quality I've gone over that too, it's not the loudest sound quality, it's not the best, but it's doable you just. I did a sound boost thing, but what I didn't realize is the time of doing that.

Sound booth app is that there's an equalizer inside that you can adjust, so I actually went into the equaliser and adjusted it to my like my liking, and you do your own but glasses. Here you do your own. How you want to set up the sound on your device? Let me see if I can find it sound effects, custom equaliser! This is how I have mine set up now and the sound to me sounds great. You know, I, don't use the sound booster app anymore. This is my current setup for the equaliser for the sound when I'm blasting it out through the speakers.

Now the phone does have Dolby Atmos right there. So when you plug in you see you have to plug in headphones or Bluetooth, there you go so when you plug in or use Bluetooth, you will get some premium sound from this device. Folk hands down the sound quality on here with dope, though everybody knows that phones with Dolby Atmos, it sounds better than the average device. That's just how it works, that's how it works. So this device right here sound quality to me, I, don't use the sound, boosting app! That I told you about before I just use a tweak, my EQ the way I wanted to tweak it, and then now it sounds great from when I'm plugging from what I'm blasting it through the speakers.

I'll sit it on the counter in the bathroom on the kitchen just turn the volume up now. I'll admit the volume, though, for media I have to crank it just a little just upper to the between 70 and 100. To get that full nice crisp sound that I like but other than that I find with it, I'm fine with it and again plugging into the headphone jack. You will experience some beast mode, sound now type C on here, and this isn't stereo sound by the way. It's just a speaker on the bottom, even though it has a speaker up there for phone calls, and I'll talk about that too.

But the type see down here you get it's fine. If charge is relatively fast. In my initial video I said it charged really fast. It charges kind of fast well under two hours. You'll have this thing fully charged at least I've had it under two hours, it's fully charged right under two hours.

You go zero to 100, real quick. So as far as I said network once again, phone calls for me, I did experience a little of okay at the back of my house. All providers, they just don't sound good for some reason, I, don't know if it's my antennas in the back I, don't know what it is, but at the back of my house it doesn't sound good. It just doesn't sound good for the calls like it's kind of spotty, and that happens with all the companies that I use for cellphone service. So what this phone there's no exception now anywhere else calls are perfectly fine.

Everyone says I sound clear. They can't tell the difference of what phone I'm talking on. They know that I have a bunch of different phones, but they don't know the difference. This phone right here for me call quality has been fantastic and that's just how it is. So.

Last but not least, the cameras on here, they're, impressive, so I recently shot use this device to shoot video and photos of one of my new cars that I bought and, needless to say, impressive audio was good. I, don't want to put the audio on this video, so if you haven't subscribed to my other car channel, just find the link down below, and you'll see it, but I've shot video of my new car, one of my new cars and well just my new car I, have several cars, but this is the latest car that I purchased, and you know it's the quality to me is on point: it's fantastic. It's great! The photos come out great, it's just solid and there's absolutely no complaints that I have about this camera. This is one of the best set of cameras, I've seen on a device in this price range in a very long time, and some people said Jay, you need to get the 90, possibly I will get the 90 and compared to this night tech says that me 90 is a direct competitor to this phone, unlike the pixel, but I just screwed that I told him I said disagree, but you know I feel like the if you're going to compare in a price range and then what companies want to consider mid-range. This is at the top of the food chain, in my opinion, just so based on my experience as far as complete package goes, but it does have its downsides.

You know just like every other device which I've called out in this video, but all phones are different, so you know cameras fantastic overall, I mean these are some fantastic cameras on here. Unbelievable the front camera is really nice. The Riding on here is super impressive. Most of the photos that I take with this phone, the wide-angle shot in most of the video that I've done is what steady shot. It's absolutely fantastic folks, fantastic! So there's a 2-week review from your mange.

It's going down man! This is a hot phone period, it's hot straight up and down no offense our bus. This is a must-buy for the tech community. If you're a person, who's into foams- and you don't have this phone- you haven't tried it, yet I can recommend it. I can recommend this to techies the average consumer to anyone. Anyone.

This is a hot phone. You manage I'm out.
