What's up Tech, hang stuff on here from tech right today, we're going to be doing the unboxing and the first impressions of the galaxy 850 stay tuned before I. Do the unboxing I'm just gonna, go ahead and stay off some specifications talk about the price and a bunch of other things, so, first off this is going to be GSM and CDMA compatible. So this is the US version of the galaxy. A 50 I do believe it did hit India and a few other countries before it came to the States, but it's finally in the States, and I'm, also going to be covering the 51 a little later so definitely hit the notification bell to stay tuned. Now this device is two hundred and seventy-five dollars brand new, a very, very affordable price. Now do believe this comes in one color, and this is the color that I'm going to be showing you one sound box, and it's kind of like a reflective color.

It's really, really cool definitely enjoy that signal. I got the phone. We are going to have the latest Android on this device. Also, this is going to be a Super AMOLED screen, so it's going to be a really nice screen, and it's kind of different from the 820, because this is going to be a 1080p screen instead of a 720. Now the 820 screen still looks absolutely beautiful, but the galaxy a 50.

It does have that you know better display at 1080p. We're also welcomed with 64 gigabytes of built-in memory, and a lot of people think 32. Isn't too much and honestly, in my opinion, 32 isn't that much memory, but this is 64 gigabytes built in, and you can actually expand your memory up to 512 gigabytes via micros card. So this is going to be a six point. Four-inch screen, so this is going to be a little of a bigger phone.

Now. This isn't anything that anyone can handle. Even people with smaller hands so might be a little bigger. But it's not 6.9 inches like some other phones, two very, very pocketable phone, whether it's in your purse or pocket it's going to fit just well we're also going to have a 25 megapixel main camera, which is actually pretty nice and I. Do believe we have a triple camera setup on this phone.

The other thing is, we do have four gigabytes of RAM on this device, so it is going to be very, very easy to play video games, you know, do your daily tasks with a breeze so finished talking about the basic stuff, let's go ahead and boxes, so it's going on boxes, take the top off right here, and it does start us off with some manuals and other literature and stuff. It's going to open this up. So what we had in here is our quick reference guide and also our terms and conditions. Next we have the phone, but we're going to save the best for last. Next we have our power brick, and this is actually going to be fast adaptive charging.

So this is going to be a pretty quick charger. Next is our data cable, and this is actually gonna, be USB type-c, so that is always nice to see and of course, we also have our sim ejector tool, alright, everyone! So now that we have the phone here, one other thing that to say about this device is: we do have a four thousand William battery in this device, which is actually really, really nice to see most phones that we see nowadays are about 3500 to 3,700. So you get that extra. You know a little of battery in there. Also, the other thing don't forget.

We do have plastic around this phone, so we don't have to take plastic off around the sides of device alright, so we took the plastic off both sides of device. Let's go ahead and boot this up and take a look at the back. So taking a look at the back of device, as you can see, this is kind of like a fluorescent color, it's kind of like just a bunch of different colors that reflect on the back and I personally. Think it's really, really cool. Now, starting off.

This is going to be a pretty minimal design on the back of the phone I believe this is going to be polycarbonate, which essentially is condensed plastic, so very, very hard plastic on the back. So nothing that you have to be worried about if you drop. It definitely would recommend a case, though now on the back of device. We do have that Samsung logo right there, as we always do on Samsung devices. Now taking a look at the camera setup on the back, we do have a triple camera setup and that's going to be twenty-five plus five plus eight megapixels and below that.

Obviously we are gonna. Have our LED flash now going to the right side of the phone? We do have our power button, as well as our volume up and down button, which is not spaced bomb on the phone. We have our speaker where for noise, cancelling mic or USB type-c port, and we also have a 3.5 millimeter head jack, so you guys can go ahead and listen to music on your regular headphones and the left side advise. Furthermore, we do have a SIM tray right there, so you can go ahead and check that and put up to 512 gigabytes of external storage via micro SD card also top of the phone. Furthermore, we do have a lonely little noise, cancelling mic up there, but uh yeah.

Let's go ahead and get into this. So finally, booting up the phone I have to say this is one of the nicest screens I've seen on a mid-range device. This is going to be an AMOLED display and I, see less and less of AMOLED displays as the go on. Hopefully, that's going to change in 2020, but on this phone the display is absolutely beautiful. Just like the galaxy 820.

This is a very, very beautiful display and just a plus that it has a 1080p screen instead of 720. Also, the front-facing camera is actually pretty powerful with a 25 megapixel front-facing camera. That's really, really cool that we have that many megapixels in the front camera. So that's really, really nice to see, and just above the camera we have the headset tucked away right there, which I really, really like design and really liked that Samsung. Does that really nice stuff also something that you guys might not have known about this device? Are you guys didn't sing the fingerprint sensor, but the fingerprint sensor is actually in the screen, which is really, really close? You guys can see right here.

You see the green right there, but this is actually a pretty quick fingerprint sensor. Let's go and test it out, three two one go so, as you guys see just like that, we can go and unlock our phone. So three, two one go really, really cool that we actually have an N screen fingerprint sensor, some of that updated tech. It's really nice to see in mid-range of budget phones, but that's really, really cool now going to the software I just want to go ahead and verify what type of software we have in here. So, as you guys see, we have Android 9.0 in there. So we have the latest software of Android, which is cool, and I feel like this device will get.

The upcoming updates definitely crossing my fingers for that really, really hopeful, but I think this is definitely gonna, be one of the more popular unlocked devices from Samsung, especially in the United States and breezing through the OS. It looks like that. Four gigabytes of RAM is really, really quick and snappy. So definitely not going to be a problem with that. Now going to the drop-down bar right here and since we have Wi-Fi, we have sound, we have Bluetooth, we have auto rotate airplane mode, flashlight power mode.

We have mobile data blue light filter. If you want to go ahead and turn that on at night, so you guys don't strain your eyes. We also have mobile hotspot, QR scanner and location now scrolling to the right. It looks like we have Smart View, Do, Not, Disturb, secure folder, and we actually have NFC and this phone. So if you guys would like to use Samsung pay or Google Pay, you are going to be able to utilize that in this foam we also have always-on display, which is basically a Samsung thing.

We also have phone visibility. We have sync Dolby Atmos, which is really nice to see. So this works. If you Bluetooth headset headphones, maybe you know earbuds or whatever. If you guys do you plug those in or connect Bluetooth and turn on, Dolby Atmos, you guys will have a way better experience, especially watching movies and listening to music.

You guys will have better sound quality if you turn that on definitely recommend. Turning that on its kind of like a more immersive experience when you watch movies and stuff definitely recommend turning that on. We also have kids home. So if you guys want to go ahead and let your kids use this foam, maybe you're at the mall, maybe you're at work or whatever, and your kid wants to go on your phone just go ahead and turn that on and I believe you can put the certain applications you want them to see on the phone as well. We also have night mode which is cool, go ahead and turn that on that blacks out everything such as settings and different stuff, like that, definitely recommend using that, especially at nighttime, the white light and the Blu-rays definitely strain your eyes a bit more.

So that's really nice that we have that. We also have Bixby routines, we'll probably do a whole other video on that explaining what it do we'll have a navigation bar right there, and we have power key for Bixby right there. A lot of people like this, a lot of people, don't I feel like most don't I'll go ahead and do a video on that later on, as well, but I'd say just leave it off for now getting into the very important stuff. I just want to go and show you how good this camera is, because a lot of people have been using this and telling me great things about it had to pick up the 50, and we're just gonna. Show you how the rear facing camera looks.

So I did take a few sample pictures, as you guys can see. The clouds look really, really crazy in this. This actually has a wide-angle camera on it. One of the cameras- that's actually utilizing that if we scroll to the right here, I did take another photo. I'm going to go ahead and post this on Instagram, but this is a really, really cool photo and pretty much shows the capabilities of a mid-range phone.

This photo before the video drops also another close up the galaxy, a 50 everything looks spotless and cut very, very nice to see that, and just one of the staring will so very, very nice depth very nice colors good saturation. This is definitely up for this and galaxy a 50s camera. So, so far, what do I think of this 275 dollar phone I feel like so far, I'm going to do my reveal on this, but I feel like so far. This is one of the best unlock devices you can get in the US under $300, really nice quality screen. We have very, very nice sound on this device as well and amazing cameras.

So if you guys are looking for a phone like that, I'll definitely put the link in the description, so you guys can go ahead and purchase awesome phone. So far, definitely going to give you my review. This was barely the unboxing, but I really love this phone so far, especially since that in screen fingerprint sensor is on this device, we have the new technology, and it didn't really leave us behind, because this is still a very, very affordable phone, but yeah.
