Okay, so in this video I'm putting the Galaxy Tab s7 against the Lenovo tab, p11 pro, let's jump into it all right, starting with the Lenovo here. This is the newest player in the pro tablet segment in the tablet industry by Lenovo, of course, and it's boasting a snapdragon 730 g. While on the other hand, here I have the Galaxy Tab, s7, which is the latest flagship and pro tablet by Samsung, and it is pushing the best android chipset on the market right now in that snapdragon 865 plus now that's kind of a rocky start for the Lenovo p11 pro, but still don't discount. This tablet just yet watch the video till the end and, as always of course, we're going to start off with the design. Both tablets have a premium feel and a very sleek look to them. The p11 pro is larger than the s7 here, and it's also thinner.
They each have a metallic unibody case with a smooth brush finish on the back. Here you get quad speakers set up on each one of these tablets and the ones on the Lenovo are tuned by JBL, while the ones on the tab, s7 are tuned by AKG, and I have to add, they actually push excellent sound quality. You know the sound is very full and very crisp on both tablets. They both can connect to keyboards through these pins. Here they have USB type c port for charging and also data transfer and video and audio output.
They both have micro, SD card for the internal storage, so you're able to expand that internal storage. You also get the fingerprint sensor embedded in the power button and both are actually very, very fast. Now, during my testing, I couldn't really tell which one was faster. They are just that. You know they are that fast.
You have dual sensor: camera module on the back of each tablet and selfie camera on the front, and on that same front or the face here, we have an unibody and fairly thin bezel around it. Now, let's go ahead and dive deeper into the specs of these two tablets. Oh, by the way, if this is your first time visiting the channel, welcome, of course, if you do like the content so far, I truly appreciate that. Please do me a favor and hit both the like and the subscribe button. That's a tremendous boost to this channel again.
I really appreciate that all right. So let's take a look at these specs right, and I want to stay and kind of start off with the front of these tablets and one of the p11 pro biggest appeals. Is this huge and beautiful OLED panel? It's an 11.5 inch display that has a resolution of 1600 by 2560 with 350 nits. It does offer some really nice color contrast with deeper blacks and deeper reds. Also, on the other side here, the tab s7 boasts an 11 inch, IPS display with a resolution of 1600 also by 2560, but this time we have 500 nits.
Now this is not an IPS display like we are used to seeing this screen is very bright, fantastic, viewing angles, and you have colors that really do pop and here's the kicker. This thing is pushing 120hz refresh rate. That's a major plus for this tablet. Meanwhile, the p11 pro here is stuck at 60 hertz, meaning you have a premium screen on the p11 pro with that OLED display, as I mentioned, but you have an IPS display on the tab s7, which is twice as smooth with colors that really pop and are almost the same as what you would find on the OLED display. Now, if you know a thing or two about Samsung, then you know that they make some of the best displays out there and, as I mentioned at the beginning of the video here, the tab s7 is loaded with the android best chipset on the market.
As of now, it's also coupled with six gigs of ram and 128 gigs of expandable internal storage. The p11 pro, on the other hand, is also at 128 gigs for the based internal storage, except you are looking at more of a mid-range chipset in this tablet in the p11 pro, and that is coupled with only four gigs of ram. So, as far as performance goes, it's just not even a close fight, and I'm not going to go too deep into the details. Essentially, you would have the best android chipset loaded in the tab, s7 versus more of a mid-range chipset loaded in the p11 pro here. So you do the math.
Now with that being said, the p11 pro overall performance is actually perfect. So it's not a bad tablet or anything it will handle all of your stuff without any issues. It's running, android 10 with a pretty straightforward skin sitting on it, and I haven't had any issues with it so far with moderate level of productivity and multitasking. But when it comes down to like the heavy stuff, including like heavy gaming, it's simply not at the same level as the tab. S7 performance on the tab.
S7, as you would imagine, is just flawless. It's blazing fast. It's smoother it's snappier than the p11 pro here. Furthermore, it's also running android 10 with that Samsung very well integrated and buttery, smooth one UI. Now, as far as battery goes, you have to keep in mind that we are dealing with two separate types of displays right, so we're dealing with an OLED display here, as opposed to an IPS display here, along with many other variables and the tab.
Seven here has an eight thousand William hour battery versus an 8600 William hour battery on the p11 pro and that p11 pro battery is definitely going to last longer than that of the tab. S7, the IPS display with that 500 nits, along with the 120 hertz, displays just kind of eat through the battery. Well, it eats through the battery a little more than the p11 pro would here so as fast battery goes, the p11 pro definitely lasts longer than this one. Both tablets have a dual camera setup on the back with a 5 and a 13 megapixel sensors. But yet again, camera is just better on the tab.
S7. You know nice colors, nice level of saturation as Samsung likes to do. You know that Samsung tends to over saturate. Furthermore, you know their images, but overall images are sharper here. So definitely better cameras, camera system on the tab, s7 versus the p11 pro here.
My hope is that Lenovo eventually pushes out some type of update to help fix this camera. When you buy the tab s7, it comes bundled up with the Samsung s pen, but on the tab p11 pro, you have to purchase the Lenovo stylus separately or simply upgrade when you're buying to a higher tier, the one that costs a little more so that you can get the stylus. The tablet 7 has the most modern s, pen that Samsung has made so far and to put it in simple words, it's one of the best tablet pencils you'll get on the market today, and that is of course, because of the well-known great pressure sensitivity levels, the feedback that it provides to the user when it's being used, but also because of the ton of features that it comes loaded with and, as I said in my last video of the p11 pro here when I bought it, they didn't have the stylus for it just, yet now I just recently ordered it a few days. Well, I believe last week sometimes, so I should be getting it anytime now, once I get that I'm going to test it out, also and see how well it performs, and then I'll probably make a short video kind of update video to tell you guys how that stylus performs. But still I doubt it will come to the level of the s pen of the most modern s, pen that Samsung has ever created, but anyways.
You have a p11 pro productivity feature loaded in this tablet, and it actually does a pretty decent job at creating a setup that will help boost your productivity. It offers you kind of setup that is similar to a desktop so that you can have kind of like a mini computer. The tab seven has the infamous Samsung DEX, which is its own version of turning your tablet into a computer, and it is definitely a lot more advanced and more evolved than what's being offered in the p11 pro here now we could keep going if we wanted to. You know talking about the more differences, but I'm just going to stop here and give you my take the tab. S7 here is an overall just superior tablet, there's just no other way to put it right.
It's superior in so many things, including the price well, including what you get with that price right, even if it's the original and fifty dollars now the tab. P11 pro here has a future for sure it has a future in the pro tablet segment. If Lenovo is willing to actually make some fairly drastic changes right, so actually going for a flagship processor, you know what they have, as I mentioned, is more of a mid-range processor. If they were, they didn't even hit. Like the 800s, I mean the tab.
Six from last year is running a snapdragon 855, so this couldn't even compete with the one from last year, at least as far as processor goes, and the one from last year actually has an OLED display. Also, but anyways I digress here. So if Lenovo is willing to make some changes, I think this guy might be a good competitor. You know sometime in the future right, so they really need to do something about that process. Again, like I said it works, they need to change that.
They also need to work on that price if they want to charge 500 bucks or 600 bucks or 550 whatever they want to charge on this tablet, they really need to make sure that it comes correct because in this industry, in the pro industry, something like this is superior to this, and we won't even go to as far as comparing this to the iPad Pro, because that one in terms of processing power is just at another level, but with all of that being said, if you are in the market for a tablet, make sure to watch my other videos, I've made quite a few videos about other tablets. However, if you already made up your mind- and you want to pick up, the p11 pro here- make sure to go for the one with higher ram right, so go for the one that has six gigs of ram. You know- or you know, go for the other one that has six gigs of ram and comes with the stylus. Now that the stylus is available but anyways, I hope this was informative and that it helps your purchasing decision. If you are in the market for this tablet, please don't forget, of course, to like comment, I'm always going to catch you in the comment section like I always do, and I'm also going to catch you in the next video and up until then, of course, stay safe out.
There.
