Samsung Galaxy A32 5G vs Samsung Galaxy A12 - Who Will Win?

Hey everybody- this is Andre here with the Kevin breeze channel and in this video we're going to be doing a comparison between the Samsung Galaxy, a32 5g and the Samsung Galaxy a12. To get some more information about the pricing and availability or just some general info on the phones themselves, definitely check the link in the description. That being said, let's get started so the Samsung Galaxy a32 5g has a six and a half inch TFT display with a resolution of 720p a PPI of 270, an aspect ratio of 20 by 9 and a screen to body ratio of 81.6. We got a water drop front-facing camera here, and this is 13 megapixels. The Samsung Galaxy a12 has a six and a half inch pl sips lcd, with a resolution of 720p a PPI of 264, an aspect ratio of 20 by nine and a screen to body ratio of 85.5 percent. We have the same style with that water drop front facing camera, and this one is eight megapixels.

Now I really don't like the water drop front facing cameras, I think they make the phones look a little cheap and a little older. I prefer the hole, punch, design a lot and since other Samsung Galaxy, a series phones do have hole, punch cameras, I'm not quite sure why they didn't just change all of them. So that is a little unfortunate as far as the display goes itself. It's pretty much going to be the same, there's a little of a difference in PPI, but at the end of the day, there's really not going to be a huge difference like there would be if one of the phones had a super AMOLED or anything like that which neither of them do so. For all intents and purposes it is the same.

The only thing I would say is the Samsung Galaxy a12 has a slightly better screen to body ratio. So the bezels, as you can really see here, are thinner with the a12 overall, the a12 itself is a little thinner and more sleek looking than the Samsung Galaxy a32 5g. So that is an advantage it has, but at the same time, compared to other Samsung Galaxy a series: both phones are a little on the thicker side, with thicker bezels and more clunky looks, I would say, the designs of these phones are mediocre at best. I don't think they look very good. The materials really don't feel very premium at all.

Although the Samsung Galaxy a12 does feel a little better. Now the Samsung Galaxy a32 5g is getting 128 gigabytes of internal storage with micros expansion and the Samsung Galaxy a12 is getting 64 gigabytes of internal storage with micro, SD card expansion. So big difference here, the Samsung Galaxy a32 5g definitely has a huge advantage having double the space of the Samsung Galaxy a12. So that's a perfect thing on part of the Samsung Galaxy a325g these days with the system getting larger and larger. It's definitely nice that both of these phones have a decent amount of storage.

But that being said, I do think it's good to get as much storage as you possibly can so the Samsung Galaxy a325g definitely has an advantage here now. Neither of these phones have wireless charging, which is too bad. That is a feature, that's typically for flagship phones, but I would like to see it in the future being implemented on more mid-range and lower level. Phones like these. That being said, both of them have a fingerprint scanner right here on the power button, which I think this is the best spot for fingerprint scanner.

You really can't go wrong with it by default, these phones don't even wake up. If you tap the screen, you actually have to go into settings and set it to do that. So, assuming you haven't done that yet you're going to have to touch the power button anyway to even open the screen. So even if you have faced unlock or something like that, this fingerprint scanner is still gonna, be the fastest way possible to open the phone. Not only is the placement great, but they're, really fast and responsive as well see I just unlocked the phone as I was speaking.

Let's try that one more time there we go. As you can see, this fingerprint scanner is really fast and convenient, and it's the same thing with the Samsung Galaxy a12 right now, it's locked, and now it's not one more time. So these fingerprint scanners are really great, really convenient and easy to use. I definitely am a big fan now taking a look at these camera setups, the Samsung Galaxy a32 5g has a 48 megapixel rear camera, an 8 megapixel ultra-wide camera, a 2 megapixel depth, sensing camera and a 5 megapixel macro camera. The Samsung Galaxy a12 has a 48 megapixel rear camera as well.5 megapixels, ultra-wide camera, a 2 megapixel depth, sensing camera in a 2, megapixel macro camera, so they have pretty much the same features. The quality of the cameras is most likely going to be a little different, but as far as the features go and both of them do have really great features, I have yet to see a Samsung Galaxy, a series phone that has a completely awful camera.

Some of them are better than others, but most of the time a Samsung Galaxy, a series camera is gonna, be pretty good. Now these pictures were taken by the rear camera of each phone. I would say the Samsung Galaxy a32 5g has a slightly better image. That being said, the a12 does also have a perfect image, so it really comes down to the more meticulous details. I would say the Samsung Galaxy a32 5g has a slightly brighter image with better colors, but the a12 is really not that far behind now these are the ultra-wide pictures.

The image of the Samsung Galaxy a325g is a little brighter and the colors are a little better, but the Samsung Galaxy a12 does have a pretty acceptable image as well. This difference is a little bigger, though definitely not nearly as sharp on the Samsung Galaxy a12 as it is with the Samsung Galaxy a32 5g, which is kind of expected, because a lot of the time ultra-wide images aren't quite as high quality as the regular images, but with the Samsung Galaxy a32 5g, it's perfect for an ultra-wide camera, whereas with the a12 it is pretty average. Now these pictures were taken with the front-facing cameras of each phone. Again, I would say the Samsung Galaxy a32 5g is better here. It's definitely more apparent.

The highlights in the picture taken by the Samsung Galaxy a12 are noticeably bright to the point where it does sort of interrupt the quality of the image, whereas with the Samsung Galaxy a32 5g not only are the highlights and lighting in general really balanced, but the colors are good, and the image is really sharp and, last but not least, with the video mode, the Samsung Galaxy a32 5g has a max quality of 4k at 30 frames per second in the rear, camera and 1080p in the front. The Samsung Galaxy a12 has a max quality of 1080p in both the rear and the front. So in pretty much every way the Samsung Galaxy a32 5g is going to have an advantage over the Samsung Galaxy a12. As far as the camera is concerned, there's really nothing in the camera features that the Samsung Galaxy a12 does better than the Samsung Galaxy a32 5g. That being said, the Samsung Galaxy a12 definitely does hold its own, and it does have a great camera as well.

Now, internally, the Samsung Galaxy a32 5g is getting six gigabytes of ram with the MediaTek density 725g processor, we ran geek bench 5 benchmark tests on both of these phones and the Samsung Galaxy a32 5g came out with a single core score of 472 and a multi-core score of 1520. The Samsung Galaxy a12 is getting 4 gigabytes of ram with the MediaTek hello p35 processor came back with a single core score of 169 and a multi-core score of 965. Now this is actually a pretty considerable difference. I wouldn't do a lot of intensive activities with the Samsung Galaxy a12 stuff, like video, editing and gaming. I would probably try to avoid with this device.

The Samsung Galaxy a32 5g, however, is going to be able to handle a lot more. Video editing and gaming is definitely possible on this phone. I still wouldn't go super high, depending on which video editing software you're using or which game you're playing. I wouldn't do things that are super demanding on the ram or have complicated graphics, but it's definitely going to be able to handle a moderate amount of each activity, whereas with the Samsung Galaxy a12, you're- probably not going to be able to do those higher end things. To give you an idea of what this difference in processing power looks like I'm going to do a quick demonstration we're going to start by opening Google Chrome.

So as we can see there, the Samsung Galaxy a325g, it was clearly faster. You can definitely see the difference there. The Samsung Galaxy a32 5g did pull up chrome and sat there for a couple seconds, while the Samsung Galaxy a12 was loading, so it's definitely a very clear difference. Let's try a web page and see if that difference still remains, so that one was a little closer. But again the Samsung Galaxy a32 5g is faster in general.

Now these phones actually have pretty much the same battery with a 5 000 William hour battery that supports 15 watt fast charging. So this is a huge advantage. These two phones have over many other phones that don't have such a big battery. You can't really get any bigger than a 5 000 William hour battery these days, so these phones are really at the top. As far as that goes, this means that not only will they get more life per charge, but over time as the battery degrades, they're going to get a lot more longevity than say an iPhone with a 2 815 William hour battery is going to degrade a lot faster now, in conclusion, which of these is the better device, I definitely would say the Samsung Galaxy a32 5g is the clear winner over the Samsung Galaxy a12.

Not only does it have a better processor, but it also has a lot more internal storage and a much better camera as well. That being said, the Samsung Galaxy a12 is still a great phone with a decent display, a decent amount of storage, a perfect camera and a processor. That's not half bad either. So definitely, if you're only doing basic activities, nothing beyond content, consumption and web browsing, then either of these phones is going to work out fine. For you, although the Samsung Galaxy a32 5g is going to be a little faster, but if you're doing the more high-end activities, I would definitely say the Samsung Galaxy a32 5g is going to fit your needs a bit better again.
