Hey guys and welcome to another episode of quick expert reviews. Today, we've got a Samsung Galaxy, a 20 II now after the s10 II and the s5e tab I've revealed recently. This is another e handset I'm, not really sure. What does the e stand for and why, for example, the a10 locked, the e moniker, but I hope that at least someone knows what's? What's? What's the naming all about now, this is the usual normal UK retail box, which means that you do get the headphones in the box, which is always a nice addition, a proper charger adaptive fast charger. The phone does support fast charging up to 15 watts, so around half an hour will give you approximately 60%, so 50, 60 % of charge so actually works pretty well, and then we've got the sim opening tool which allows us to open the SIM tray, which also has the memory cards tray in it. Now the phone itself is made of plastic, but as usual, it's made of it looks like a glass, so Samsung calls it a glass.
Stick, yes, and then we've got the dual lens camera setup. We've got the LED flash and the fingerprint sensor on the back as well. So then, we've got the power button. The volume up volume down we've got the second microphone on the top. We've got the SIM tray and memory country on the Left, which is a one tray, and then we've got a type C with a one bottom, fire speaker and a headphone jack.
As usual. We're going to have a look into the settings to see what the phone is running on, but I can already see that it's running on some new one UI, which means that it is definitely running on Android Pi and considering Android 9 PI, considering the price of the phone, which is 169 pounds. This is always a nice option, especially like I said within that budget, and so yeah kudos goes to Samsung in terms of the actual handset spec stem cell. We have generously fit two gigabytes of internal storage. We also have three gigabytes of RAM, so overall that Enos processor that powers, the handset itself, does a pretty decent job.
The Samsung one UI also helps because it's less cluttered there are still some apps are doubled up. So you do get the Samsung internet or the Samsung Browser. You do get the Samsung Galaxy Apps. You do get the Samsung health own app, which means that you actually have two apps. That do the same thing, but maybe, maybe just maybe Samsung is preparing for what happened to Was away and if anything happens, and they lose access to Google features.
Google Apps at least they've got their own apps pre-installed ready on every single phone. As you can see, the phone itself also supports night mode. Now this only works with Samsung Apps. So if you've got a Google Chrome, for example, you use Gmail, it unfortunately doesn't power on in power on it doesn't run in the night mode itself, and then we've got the navigation bars. If you'd like you, can change that navigation bar to a gesture based bar in terms of sound and vibration.
In terms of sound quality, we do get Dolby Atmos, albeit it only works over wired, headphones and wireless headphones themselves, but at least we also get a built-in equalizer, so we don't have to download any additional third-party apps and, to be honest, even though the phone sports 5.8 inches in terms of like the display size, it's still pretty easy to use with one hand, especially that when you do get the like reachability, so you double tap the home screen triple tap the home screen, and it allows you to make it slightly smaller in terms of pre-installed apps. We've got, for example, Samsung built-in FM radio. So if you plug in the headphones, they double up as an antenna, and then we've got the Samsung own game launcher which allows us to put all the games in one place, so they are not scattered around the whole device and then slightly improve the performance of the games. We're on now. It's not going to be running pop G on all trend, 60 frames-per-second, but it does a pretty decent job.
In terms of the camera itself, we've got two units on the back 15 megapixels, with an f-stop of 1.2 and 5 megapixels of an f-stop of 2 points, -. That is the ultra-wide lens, and then we can also record videos in up to 1080p at 30 frames per second. The front-facing camera is 8 megapixels with an f-stop of 2.0, so the lower the f-stop value, the aperture, actually the more light it captures, which means the pictures are slightly better in low light conditions and, to be honest, the camera itself, as it is usually the case, you will see the samples at the very end of the video. It's actually pretty decent I would say not as good as Sony Xperia L free, but it does a pretty decent job. So, yes, you do get the pro mode, which allows you to, for example, change the white balance and so on.
Let's have a listen to the actual speaker, so yeah, thanks for watching our episode of quick expert series, help you've enjoyed the video and, if you've got any questions, just drop them in the comments and the MAL speak to you soon. Guys bye, you.
