Hey, what's going on everybody Paul here and welcome back to another video in today's video I want to share with you the Letterbox Commuter light series case for the Samsung Galaxy a 20. So this is the case right here. This is the packaging. The case will come in. If you decide to purchase this off of Amazon, it does retail for $26 and 96 cents is gonna, be all black color there's also a greenish color of this case that retails for $25 and 56 cents. Now all the links to this case will be in the description below of this video, but let's go ahead and take a look at the back of the packaging and, as you can see, it does give you some information there.
So this is going to be drop protection, two-piece, construction, pocket-friendly and you get a limited lifetime warranty now with Letterbox cases, they do produce some of the best protective cases on the market. I mean this does retail for $26 at 96 cents, but at the same time this just might be the only case you need to purchase for the lifetime of your Samsung Galaxy a 20 device. Now, as you can see to the bottom of the packaging there, we do got some paperwork, so we'll go ahead and take a quick look at that, and it does give you some installation instructions which I'm going to show you exactly how to install your a20 into the case, and you also get your limited warranty, information and Samsung brochure. Alright. So let's go ahead and take a closer look at the Letterbox Commuter light series case.
Now: I really do like these specific type of Letterbox cases, because they're not going to add a lot of extra bulk to your Samsung Galaxy. A 20 minimal bulk will add just a little but not a lot and like I mentioned earlier, this does have a two-piece construction to it. So you're going to have Letterbox branding to the inner portion of this case, so you're going to get some excellent shock and drop protection with the Commuter light series case and as you can see there, this is the two pieces of the case. It comes off rather easily got some lint on that, but, as you can see, soft inner portion of the case, which is gonna, help absorb shocks and drops and just deflect all those impacts and the harder outer shell. Alright.
So I got my Samsung Galaxy a 20 here, I'm going to share with you how easy the installation is to the Letterbox Commuter light series case, as you can see it just basically slides right into the inner soft portion layer of the case, and once you do that, all you got to do is grab the hard outer portion of the case, and it will just fit perfect to the back. As you can see there and you just kind of work around the sides a little there and that's basically, its installation is a breeze with the commuter light series case and as you can see, it does have a really nice fit and feel to the Samsung Galaxy 820 a nice secure fit it doesn't feel loose and let's go ahead and take a look at the right-hand side of the case and, as you can see, you're going to have your volume rockers covered your power button covered. Are you going to get some excellent corner protection as well as some decent grip along the sides to the bottom? There guys cut out for your single down firing speaker, your type-c charging port, as well as the 3.5 millimeter, headphone jack and on the left-hand side, as you can see, is just pretty clean. Looking on the upper portion is going to provide more of the grip compared to the bottom portion of the case and up on top you get a nice cutout there for the noise cancellation mic, take a look at the back there. So, as you can see with your dual camera setups and your rear-facing flash fingerprint sensor, you get nice deep, cutouts there, which is excellent, Letterbox branding to the back, and it does glisten a little to the back with this shimmery black color to the Letterbox Commuter light series case and, as you can see to the front you're going to get a decent raised lip to the front.
So you are going to get really nice lay on the table protection. Keeping that six point four-inch, HD, plus infinity, display nice and free of scratches testing out the volume rockers now they do seem very tactile. Responsive, doesn't require a lot of pressure and the same thing with the power button. It's nice and easy to press, which is nice with this type of case and testing out the fingerprint sensor. Your finger just rests naturally and comfortably to the back.
The cutout is just super accurate, in my opinion, can even pull down the status bar with this case on with the fingerprint sensor now, I'm also going to test out the camera there. So the dual camera setup to the back, just making sure the case is not interfering, causing some type of shadow effect. Sometimes cases do produce that, but that's not an issue here whatsoever, as you can see, everything's crystal clear, even switching it up to the wide-angle mode. So again, this case is not going to interfere whatsoever when it comes to taking photos and recording videos. I also tested out the type C charging port, as well as the headphone jack and everything plugged in perfectly fine.
So those cutouts are very accurate, and you're, not gonna. Have any issues plugging in your headphones charging up you a 20 as well. Now, when it comes to removing this case, it's actually pretty simple: it's not going to come off easy. That's for sure it will just require a little of pressure to the corners there, and then that will remove the case. But overall it has a really nice fit and feel to the a20 doesn't feel loose.
It doesn't feel like it's just gonna accidentally come off in your pocket. I want to also mention with the back of this case. It is that hard exterior shell, and it does feel kind of slick in my hands. The best grip with this case is going to be along the sides. The right and left sides definitely get some good grip there.
But again you are going to get that certified drop protection with this case and again, Letterbox have just always been known for offering some of the best protection in all types of different environments, and you can definitely rock this case at the office on the trail. Wherever you go, I mean this case looks sleek. It looks nice and like I mentioned earlier. This might just be the only case you need to purchase for your 20 I mean Letterbox cases have been known to withstand the lifespan of a smartphone they little just last you until the end — you're ready to get your next one.
