Hello and welcome to ReviewPK! My name is Ameer. And this is the unboxing of Samsung Galaxy A11 and our quick review. Galaxy A11 is an entry level phone by Samsung, and it's retail price in Pakistan is Rs.26,000/-. But it is possible you will find it cheaper if you are interested in that so, the link is in the descriptionn box below. In Pakistan the phone is launching in 2GB RAM and 32GB built in Storage. And it has 3 colour options White and our colours today Blue and Black.
The highlight features of this phone are it's trendy hole-punch cutout, fast charging support, and a triple camera setup which includes an ultra wide camera. That's it for the intro. Let's move towards the video. Keep watching! If you are new to our channel then do subscribe and turn the notification bell on so that, you'll be notified of recent videos. Now, let's unbox the Galaxy A11.
You also get a warranty card with the plastic. Along with the box you also get some user manuals which are in Urdu. Extra points for localisation. There is no silicon protective case with this phone. Moving forwards, here is the handset of Galaxy A11.
You get a 15W Adaptive Fast Charging Brick with the handset, which is a major plus point about this phone. And lastly, there is USB Type-C Cable There is a 6.4 inches PLS TFT Display in Galaxy A11. And here the resolustion is HD Plus, meaning 720 x 1560, whereas the pixel density is 268ppi This PLS Technology is Samsung's own technology and Samsung claims this technology to be slightly superior to IPS Panel because you get 10% more brightness with this and many more other benefits. I would like to know your thoughts on this one! There is a hole punch cutout at the top left of the display which is in trend these days. And if we talk about the quality of the display, this is one of the best that I have seen in this price range.
Moving forwards, if we talk about the build quality, both the back and the frame of this phone is of plastic. Back is with a glossy finish. But one thing that I didn't like, is that you can feel a slight flex on the back of this phone. Therefore, when you'll be handling the back, you will feel a very slight flex. Ultimately, it is not that big of a deal specially in a budget entry level price range, it is not a major problem.
But, if you will move towards Samsung, then according to build quality and other things too, you would have to sacrifice a little. Moving on, let's talk about the camera setup of the phone there's a triple camera setup at the back in which there's a 13MP f/1.8 aperture main camera, there's also a 5MP ultra-wide camera which is very rare in this price range, along with it there's also a depth sensor. Whereas, at the front, there's an 8MP selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture. The phone's maximum video recording resolution is set to 1080p at 30 frames per second. And if we look at the image samples, so, the colour reproduction of this camera seems fine to me.
Surprisingly, the dynamic range of this camera was also decent. Specially, considering the price range. A reason for that is it's HDR, because of which even in bright environment there's colour present in the sky. But, because of the low 13MP resolution of the main camera the images were generally a little soft. As i told you before, a plus point for this camera setup is that there's an ultra-wide camera in it which is very rare in this price range.
Talking about the selfies the colour reproduction here is also fine. But again due to the low megapixel count the images were coming out a little soft. So, as an entry level camera I found the camera of A11 just fine Specially, the colour reproduction and dynamic range, was better than my expectation. Moving forwards, the specifications and internals of A11. There is a 1.8GHz Octa-core Processor in this phone. Now, this processor is not officially mentioned on their website, but I asked you all in the impressions video of this phone about it you guys said that its Snapdragon 450.
And I also verified it later. As I told you in the video, the phone has 2GB RAM, and 32GB internal storage which is an eMMC 5.1 storage. Along with it if we talk about the expansion the phone has full dual sim support meaning it has dedicated SD card slot And you can put 2 sims and an SD card all together. Talking about the performance, let's start with the benchmark results, The single core of Galaxy A11 came out 753 whereas the multicore scpre came out 3865. However, the Antutu score came out 90341.
Now, if we compare these scores with other competitors in this price range so, you can see this is very entry level performance This is in no way a high performance phone in this price range In this price range, in other Chinese brands, you can get processors like Snapdragon 665 and MediaTek Helio G-70, the performance of which is way better than Snapdragon 450. If, in this price range, you are looking for a phone with high performance or gaming so, Galaxy A11 won't be a good option for a you. But if your usage is that of an average type, that is normal regular apps, Social media apps, videos, movies. And even casual gaming could be handled by this phone. If you play Pubg, currently it is banned, but when you'll play it Pubg would run in low settings in this phone and would be playable.
however, you can not do any high level gaming with this phone. Therefore, according to me, this phone is good for the entry level type of users whose usage is not much performance oriented I know a lot of people who use their phone for normal daily usage apps, to make calls or for daily office usage. And for all such purposes, this phone will perform quite decently. But one the basis of its performance, the biggest criticism by me is that it has 2GB RAM This phone should've had at least 3GB RAM. Most phones in this price range comes with 3GB RAM.
And 2GB RAM is a very limiting factor when you start using a lot of apps. But, again, I don't think average daily users will have that much issues. Talking about the interface, the phone comes with Android 10 and there is Samsung's own One UI on it. Which is the same interface that we get in Samsung's Flagship phones. And due to this, in lower mid range and in budget price segment this interface is a big selling point.
Moving forwards, if we talk about battery and charging setup of Galaxy A11. There is a 4,000 mAh battery in this phone and the phone comes with Samsung's 15W adaptive fast charging. I found this battery to be very small in size. You see 5000 mAh battery in most of the phone in this price range. So, big battery would've been better but along with this, the phone having fast charging is a big plus point in my opinion.
The reason for it is that often, you get 10W chargers in this price range you don't get to see fast charging support. Here, you are getting 15W fast charging. If we talk about charging time, so, with 4000 mAh battery 15W charging will completely charge your battery in 1 and a half hour. And once this battery is charged so, 4000 mAh battery, 720p Display, and due to under powered Snapdragon 450 processor you should expect 1 or 1 and a half day battery life with this phone. Which in my opinion is quite decent.
It's not very amazing but then again fast charging support is a big plus point. So, if we move towards the conclusion, the built quality is very basic. It's an entry level built quality, in this price range you will not find any spectacular specs but it would've been better if the phone didn't have this much flex in the back. And at the front protection of Gorilla Glass 3 should've been given like the Chinese counterparts are giving. This phone's camera camera performed better than my expectations specially, talking about the colour reproduction and the dynamic range.
The phone having fast charging is a very big plus point for me specially in daily usage if the phone charges quickly, that's very useful. Talking about the performance here the Chinese counterparts definitely give you better internals and specs, and overall app and gaming performance. But if you'll talk about an average user who needs a phone for daily usage and who doesn't have much of a fancy usage so in my opinion, for everyday average type of users this phone can be a decent option At this point, chinese counter parts in the market are offering many specifications and features superior to this. But for the brand name of Samsung, you always have to sacrifice a few features. And according to me, if you are looking for a Samsung phone in the market, you don't want a Chinese phone, and your usage is a daily type of average usage or you're looking for a phone for office work, for such people, this phone can be a good option.
I would like to know what are your thoughts about this phone? Did you like this phone? Do Samsung's brandname justifies lower features and a higher price point? Do let me know this. That's all for this video I hope you liked it. I will meet you in the next video. Goodbye!.
