Hey guys uh well, hey guys. What's up hope, you are good in this video we're going to be taking a look at the Redmi Note 10. This is a brand-new phone from the Xiaomi backed company or brand Redmi. The phone has just been released. I managed to get a hold of it. I've also got the Redmi Note 10 pro coming, but this came first so in this video we're going to be unboxing, this phone we're going to take a look at the specs, I'm going to give you a full walk through we'll download some games and use the cameras a little and just have a general look at how good this phone might be.
Before I do a full review. The Redmi Note range is, in my opinion, one of the best value phone ranges uh for the past few years. Really a couple of years ago I had the Redmi Note 6 and 7 pro, and they were perfect, and they lasted me a few years. So I'm really excited to test out the Redmi Note 10 and the Redmi Note 10 pro. This seems to be quite a big upgrade compared to the last version.
They've definitely worked on some internal hardware and the cameras are supposed to be pretty good. The pro version is supposed to have amazing cameras, but first, let's check out the Redmi Note 10, it's the cheaper of the two. It's actually really, really good value for money, but let's open it up, let's unbox it and let's take a look at the specs and what it can do. Let's go the Redmi Note.10 was released just a few weeks ago, and it is the latest version of this very popular lineup of smartphones from the form this mid-range brand. Now, let's go into the specs of this phone because I actually think it's pretty impressive.
The Redmi Note 10 features a 6.43 inch, AMOLED color display with a resolution of 1080x2400 pixels with an 83.5 screen to body ratio and a pixel density of 409 PPI, it's powered by a snapdragon 678 processors, and you have the option of four or six gigabytes of ram. You also have the option of 64 gigabytes of internal memory or 128 gigabytes. Overall, the internal specs, as in the chipset CPU GPU, are reasonably powerful for a phone of this price. Bearing in mind this is a phone that costs around 200 or just over 200 pounds. It features four cameras in total.
The main quad cameras feature a 48, megapixel, f, 1.8 sensor, an ultra-wide angle, 8 megapixel sensor, a 2 megapixel macro sensor and a 2 megapixel depth sensor for video. It can shoot 4k at 30 frames per second, as well as 1080p at 30 and 60 frames per second. The front facing camera is a 13, megapixel, f, 2.5, wide angle lens, which can shoot 1080p at 30 frames per second, it features stereo speakers, a 3.5, millimeter jack, an infrared port, USB c Bluetooth, 5.0 and GPS. It features a side mounted fingerprint sensor, an accelerometer, a gyroscope and a compass. The battery is 5000 my featuring fast charging, which you'll get 50 battery in around 25 minutes.
I find these specs pretty impressive. The cameras seem to be pretty impressive. They don't use the cheapest sensors, so hopefully the cameras will prove to be perfect value for money. For a phone of this price, the snapdragon 678 is a fairly new processor, and it is essentially designed for an upgraded experience, but in a lower budget phone- and I think this is one of the first phones to use this processor. While it is nowhere near the most powerful processor available, it should allow you to play the latest games at reasonably high quality settings near to the top, in some cases, taking a quick look at the design of the phone.
This is again one of its strong points. Redmi always seemed to produce really high quality phones that look way more expensive than they actually are. This is a particularly great looking phone. I got this kind of green blue color, which I think looks amazing. I can't actually tell whether the case is plastic or whether it's glass um either it's a very strong plastic or is glass, but I mean it looks perfect.
The phone is 8.3 millimeters thick, so it's not the thinnest, but again not the thickest. It does feature that microphone, jack and an USB port, so that is going to add a little more to the thickness, which I think is worth it. I don't particularly need a super thin phone like 6.43 inches. This is a kind of normal. I guess phone size these days I mean I guess five years ago this would have been a massive phone, but phones have been getting bigger and bigger.
So this is a big enough to display everything you want, but also small enough to hold comfortably in one hand. I don't have any problem with my particularly child-like hands, so if I can manage it, I'm sure you'll be able to too what makes this phone kind of special is the super AMOLED display, which has a reasonably high resolution, a very high pixel density 409. The screen looks amazing again for a phone: that's around 200. This is a pretty impressive screen. I prefer AMOLED screens because you get that deeper black and I think the colors then pop better darker areas are actually dark rather than having that black light always shining.
So I prefer this kind of screens as opposed to led, I guess that's a matter of personal opinion, so just my first impressions, the phone seems to be perfect value for money. I really like the screen. I think it's one of the best screens at this price range. Furthermore, I did go out and test the cameras. Furthermore, I took a few shots, and they are looking pretty impressive.
Furthermore, I am um very pleased with how the shots turned out, especially the wide angle lens and the 48 megapixel option, allowing you to crop into these images and retain as much detail as possible, but everything just looks really sharp, pretty vibrant the colors look pretty accurate, obviously they're not going to beat a phone that costs a thousand dollars a thousand pounds. What lets the? What lets the phone down on first impressions is the fact that there's no NFC that would have made this pretty much the perfect phone for me, while the chipset and GPU CPU are pretty good for the price. They are not the most powerful. There are definitely better options out there for just a little more money, but it can still play games at pretty high graphical quality, like I played a little of cod mobile on this phone as well as some other games automatically loaded high quality settings, high quality graphical settings, so clearly it can handle itself when it comes to the latest most advanced games. I will obviously be testing this out a little more.
I will be playing some games over the next week to see if there are any issues with the battery life, if there are any issues with the refresh rate, if the refresh rate could be better, I will um be testing this as a gaming device in a separate video so subscribe. If you want to see how good the Redmi Note 10 is as a gaming option before I go, I should mention that there is also the Redmi Note 10 pro which I've mentioned I am getting. This is a slightly different phone. It has better camera technology as well as some other extra features added on is obviously more expensive. I will be testing this phone as well.
I'll. Compare the two, and I'll be reviewing the Redmi Note 10 pro separately, so stay tuned for that phone, but right now my first impressions are pretty positive, not much to complain about, but you never know until you've used it for at least a couple of days. I will see you then, for a full review. Let me know what you think of this phone so far. Do you think it is good value for money? Is there anything else out there that I've missed, but until next time guys, I will see you around bye.
