Redmi K20 Pro + Mi 9T UNBOXING & REVIEW - I'm SWITCHING!

Ladies and gents, this is the big one. A lot of you have been waiting for this video for a very, very long time: hey mate, where's, the Redmi k20 pro video oi where's. This Xiaomi me 90, video well lucky for you. We've got the both right here, and some of you might have heard both smartphones being mentioned and want to know well which one do I get, because they both look exactly the same. So hopefully, this video will help you. Many people have been saying that collectively these are the phones of the year.

So in this video I'm going to show you my quick unboxing that I did and after playing around with them for a few days, I'm going to give you my first overall impressions review some of that further to do. Let's get straight to it. If you're new to the channel and love everything, tech, news, unboxing reviews then make sure you hit that subscribe button and ding that notification belt so that every time I post a video you are notified and can start to date with all the latest tech. Now, before we start to celebrate reaching the milestone of 600,000 subscribers, which is incredible, love you guys I'm going to be giving away a Redmi Note 7 pro. If you want to find out how to enter make sure you watch the entire video, because at some point I will be addressing the giveaway now, if you want more information or indeed want to purchase either of these two after watching this, video I will leave the link to both in the video description below and as a pinned comment as well.

So, firstly, a bit of information. In case you don't know the read Nikkei 20 and the Xiaomi me 90 are for all intents and purposes the same phone, both designed for different regions, I'm not gonna, get into. Why Xiaomi? Do it because I'll never know it just confuses everybody, and it's bizarre, but that's just my opinion. So as far as I'm aware, the Redmi line are generally angled at the Chinese and Indian markets, so the packaging for both of these are different, but inside they share almost identical features. So the general overall unboxing experience is the same for both you inside get the phone.

We also have the manuals and a case, and we have the charger and charging cable and that's pretty much it, and on that point I must add that the 90 is pretty much identical to the came 20. Regular. I've, of course got the pro model, which, as you'll see, has a few bumped up specs but again on the whole is very, very similar why they didn't bring out a pro model for the 90 on launch, but they did with the k.20 again is something that I never understand. Bearing in mind, they did the exact same thing within me: a3 in comparison to the CC nine, which on paper is a better phone. It seems like the global market, is kind of being a bit left behind now.

I said in the intro that a lot of people are saying that these might be the phones of the year and the reason why will become very clear when we discuss price compared to what you actually get, which quite frankly, is incredible. We have a six point. Three nine-inch full HD plus AMOLED display in display fingerprint sensor on both a 4000 mAh battery capacity on both now that comes with 18 watts, fast charging on the 90 on the K 20 Pro, it comes with the ability to charge up to 27 was so quicker on the K 20 probes, but still quite fast on the 90. Now, when you combine that perfect battery capacity with Ciao MCAS software, which is Android 9 with the UI 10 its skin over the top I, have found early on really great battery life, which backs up my early first thoughts, because every single Xiaomi product that I've used has generally been perfect with battery efficiency. Even to the point, some of their older smartphones with far smaller battery cells were actually performing there or there about with other manufacturers which had bigger batteries.

We also have faced ID on both. It is 2d, it's not quite secure as your 3d versions, but it is very reliable and quick, a fraction slower than other Xiaomi devices that have faced ID due to the fact that we have to have that pop up camera. It's still very quick. They both have a triple camera setup on the back, with a primary 48 megapixel sensor, with F 1.8 aperture and 8 megapixel telephoto lens with F 2.4, a picture- and this includes 2 times optical zoom and a 13 megapixel ultra wide-angle lens, with F 2.4 aperture and again in my early testing of the camera. My overall feedback is the general ability of the camera is pretty good.

It's certainly in the top third bracket of smartphone cameras. The addition of the ultra wide-angle lens is, of course much appreciated, and if you were to download the Google camera APK, you could take this smartphone to a whole new level. We've also got a 20 megapixel front facing shooter on both as well, but in true 2019 fashion. We have a pop-up camera, but it's not like anything. Furthermore, we've seen before and I know.

I've said that with the likes of the before 6, but this one's got a lady flash on it, you aren't gonna, be turning heads, whether that's quite you or not, is another matter, but if it is, and you like a little of bling join the LED Brigade. Now one of the big main differences between the two is the fact that, on the knee 90 we have the Snapdragon 730 SOC, whereas on the red-meat k20 Pro, we have the 855. Of course, the standard K 20 has the 730 as well. Now he's the 855 in the K 20 Pro, better, yes, of course, but in terms of the next job down from the SOC s, the 730 is probably the best on the market. It's an incredible chipset in itself and for the everyday person.

You are not really going to see too many differences. So if you're worried about not having the latest and greatest 855, don't be, you can blame me. If you buy the 90 with the 730 and yeah you don't like it, you can chop my head off you! Don't we don't chop my head off because, that's a little harsh? What I'm trying to say is I've out for the 7:30 now another small difference on the camera. Department is the fact that, when we jump into video, we can get 4k at 60 frames a second on the red meat K 20 Pro, whereas on the 90 he'd only tops out at 4k at 30. Again.

If we saw a pro model on the 90, it would have 4k at 60 Sham mi, which is just why just a red me logo on the K 20 Pro and the logo on the 90 same camera arrangement, same LED, flash same gradients in red finish, although it does come in I, believe two or three other colors I will leave the links in the video description below, and you can go through and check out the other colors you can get an oh there's, a blue version as an example, volume, rocker and power button on the right hand, side. If we flick to the top, you will see number one. A headphone jack on both I can't believe. It's even a thing that this is a feature now on smartphones, but it is I know. A lot of you will be very happy that such a great phone has a headphone jack and just along from it, you will see a little indentation and that's, of course, the pop-up camera on the bottom.

We have this speaker, the type C charging port and the SIM card tray as well. Unfortunately, it doesn't come with a micro SD card, but we still have plenty of storage options on the K 20 pro with a max of 256 kilobytes and eight gigabytes of RAM me. Ninety maximum, one to eight gigabytes of storage and six gigabytes of RAM people tend to be quite mixed about the UI software as a whole. It used to be pretty similar to iOS in terms of the father. There is no map drawer, but they have been tweaking over the last few years and while I possibly might still use a launcher for it, I know there's a lot of you out there that really do like the new me UI 10 and while some of you might prefer stock Android or to throw a launcher on it in order to get certain features, there is no denying that me.

UI 10 is probably as fluid as rapid and smooth as they come. When you combine this software with this Snapdragon 730 or the 855 in the revenue k20 pro, it's a really really perfect solid performing phone. Now this individual k20 pro came with a Chinese ROM, but it's very, very simple: to download all the Google services through the app store which comes already on the device. The 90, on the other hand, that we shipped to me has a global wrong. Now the sounds obviously going to be coming through the microphone.

So it's not going to be completely accurate, but it will give you a rough idea and, as I know, some of you love this song so much. This is full volume, so not the best speaker, and we don't have stereo speakers. Unfortunately, it's perfectly loud enough. It's just not the nicest sounding, so that is potentially one of the trade-offs that you might want to know. It'll bother some people, it won't others again in the early stages of testing.

Both phones. Gaming has been very good on both. Obviously this Snapdragon 855, with its Arena 640, is going to be better, but I stated. The 730 is still very, very competent. Now I haven't done heat tests, for example, but if you do want to see something like that, then let me know in the comment section below and again.

If we get enough comments on it, then I might be able to make that video happen. Now, here's where we get onto the big all-important question for what money do you get all of these features and how good of both of these at value for money and that's, where I'm pretty sure we're looking at phones of the year, because in the two links that I've left in the video description below you can't get the K 20 pro for around 390 pounds, which equates to about 33,000 Indian rupees and approximately 480 US dollars. This will, of course, vary between different websites and the conversions aren't completely accurate. But for these specs that's incredible, but to be honest, I'm not even sure whether that is the value King here, because again in the link below you can get the nodding: tea for around 285 UK pounds, 25,000 Indian rupees and around 360 US Dollars and like with the Paco Phone f1 last year. The reason why people are saying that these might be the phones of the year is because they've completely flipped the script on the quality of smartphone.

You can get for that amount of money. They both can compete with the big boys, and they're less than half the price. It's Hakka phone, f2 aside. If it comes out, it's going to be a bleak place for smartphones around this sort of price, because I can't see how anyone is going to beat them Xiaomi and their subsections have absolutely smashed a smartphone game out of the park both last year and this year now I'm so confident that either of these two phones would be absolutely great as a daily driver I'm going to be switching to one of them and I want you to tell me which one you want to see me switch to. Is it going to be the red me k20 Pro, or is it going to be the mean 90? Let me know in the comment section below, and I will make that daily driver switch, and then I'll probably follow up this video with a month's review and I know a lot of you guys hate that term daily driver, so I'll say it again: daily driver.

Here's where you guys come in. Let me know in the comment section below what you think of the K 20 K 20 Pro and the 90, and whether you want to see a 90 Pro as well, so onto the giveaway. All you have to do in order to find out how to enter the Redmi Note, 7 Pro giveaway jumps over to my Instagram ASB underscore whitey and find the post relating to this video on the K 20 pro in the mean 90 and all the information will be in the description for that. Good luck with the entry, and one of you guys will hopefully be getting this like and share. If you did enjoy this video and found it helpful, subscribe and hit our notification belt, if you're new to the channel want to be notified every time, I post a video on anything tech, pretty much daily content here on YouTube, I love them leave.
